All these excuses will only confuse her.

It is not so complicated.

If a guy likes a lady, he will take a few minutes to reply. It won't take three days.

As a matter of courtesy, he will inform her that he is busy and will get back to her.

Instead he is online chatting up other people.

You won't understand if you have never cut out any source of distraction in order to focus on s/th, especially for IT guys. Even his mum' s call he won't pick sef. Anyway I am assuming that's the field he is into.

Please, how does this in anyway relate to the topic at hand.

If he is he might be using his weekend for studies or personal projects. You know when you tinker with IT devices all through the week, you choose not to use any during weekends. Also he might be used to the company wifi

To provide loving home for kids
To avoid fornication

Marriage doesn't guarantee loving home for kids. As for fornication, it doesn't apply to logic.

Shouted at my parents once while still living with them and they became mute. They could see the palpable anger on my face then and knew I could no longer tolerate thier excesses. An uncle was present but even he too was quiet. Since then they don't talk to me anyhow. Infact my mum avoided me for a while but later came around. I don't regret it though cos it had to be done.

The price of FCMB today is 1.9 so your 1500 shares is worth N2,850. That's too small for all the stress involved in claiming the money. If you still want to go for it you will need letter of administration from a court, share certificate or CSCS statement and an account with a stock broker

Unnerve:

These advises are more practical when it comes to having/achieving financial and economic comfort in old age.

Just shouting that a man should treat his wife well, and this is all he needs to be comfortable (and not lonely) in old age is a big gamble which no sensible man should ever take.

I'd rather wager my stability and comfort in old age on tangible things like in the list above, than on how a woman will feel about me.
Lol, the latter is too volatile, too uncertain.

Exactly. Humans that are historically fickle-minded are the ones you should treat nicely so you will benefit from them in old age? Story!

Treat your wife well but make sure you sort yourself first.

There is pension contributions for the working class people and there is now micropension for non working class citizens. If you are not good at investment ensure you utilize the two investments vehicles to save against old age.

In addition to that set aside 30% of your income to invest in either valued stock or money market funds before taking care of family problems.

If you do all these you won't fall victim of the what the OP narrated.

This is where you use the power of social media. Just video her when she is beating the poor girl or get someone to do that. Then create a new account and upload it on the internet. Also tag all the taggables

Business / Re: How CBN Deliberately Prevents Naira From Appreciating Against Dollar - Sahara R. by YourCoffin: 6:03pm On Jul 03, 2020
omenka:
Sometimes, deliberately suppressing the rise of one's currency against the dollar is a strategy deployed by governments to attract FDIs. Nowhere else is this more entrenched than in China, which is one of the reasons behind their endless squabbles with Uncle Sam.

I am not really sure if similar strategy would augur well for Nigeria anyway, since the other factors necessary to attract such FDIs, such as dependable critical infrastructure, are lacking.

Come what may, I wish my dear country well. We'll come out of the current economic quagmire stronger I believe.

Your post makes sense only if we are export driven economy. But we are not.

Food / Re: "Ofe Akwu" (Igbo Version Of Banga Soup) In Five Easy Steps by YourCoffin: 5:07pm On Jun 27, 2020
pocohantas:

1- Buy the packaged palm fruit extract in a store.

2- Use your hands to take off the husk and crush it. Easier to do when it is “hot”.

3- Put in a pot and pound with the bottom of a bottle, that wooden stuff for turning garri or anything safe that can imitate a pestle.

Thanks. I must learn how to cook by fire by force

Angel Michael! Only a man can think of this!! grin

No it won’t work biko. The extract is not exposed to the kinda heat that gives palm oil. They are not the same o. Palm fruit extracts are sold in stores, you can use that.

For some of us that don't have mortar and pestle. What other alternative is available?
