Sixfeetbelle:

It hasn't always been there.

For example, Right to vote for women was recently allowed sometime in the 20th century and it was because some women and a few men fought for it.

Truth is, feminism isn't a bad thing. She just wants women to participate more in things men do, not necessarily fight them for it, or be handed it on a gold platter because they're women. Imagine it as your younger sister wanting to play FIFA15 with you and your other brothers.

Not true. Nigerian women have the right to vote right from inception

I agree with you..40%.

Awareness creation is very important.
Humans have been on earth for thousands of years, but the most progress for women was made in the 20th century. Awareness campaigns drove the changes in policies and laws that you and I benefit from today.

Right to vote
right to education
Child marriage abolishing
abolishing of circumcision
abolishing of breast ironing

etc
these rights that we have today were fought for , and the battle still continues, the fight has not ceased.

Heck, in some societies like saudi, women just won the right to drive.. in 2019!!!.Education levels of our northern nigerian girls are still so low..

This is true feminism, not husband and wife power struggles.

You guys didn't fight for any of these rights here. It had been there all along

Op they will soon drag you into the fight. Make sure you don't side with any. But if you have to take sides choose the one that will continue to pay your school fees.

He's too young to be thinking about sex, maybe I'm overreacting but I can't just sit and watch pornography and masturbation take over him. He's supposed to be preparing for waec.

Is his results bad?

He is undergoing puberty. Guess what guys think about during that time? Let his father educate him on how handle it.

Well, if you're the faithful kind of husband, part of the enjoyment of sex is seeing that she's enjoying it as well. Its a very very important aspect for some of us, her enjoyment of the act.

So you are saying 90% of women don't enjoy sex as soon as they get married because 90% of married men complain about the same issue?

You don't necessarily need your wife to achieve sexual gratification so why get bothered when she denies you sex?

Family / Re: Why Do Most Men Get Angry With The Word " Feminist, Feminism" ? by YourCoffin: 6:25pm On Nov 27, 2019
Because whenever they speak these are what I hear

1. Sentencing me for a crime their grandfather committed against their grandmother.
2. Hatred of my kind and by extension me
3. Imported ideas of gender descrimination that has no substantiating evidence in their geographical location.
4. Abysmal knowledge of history.
5. Incapable of communicating with finesse.
6. Lack of empathy towards my own plight.

So naturally I avoid them like plagues.

Exactly,my thoughts too.
The only issue he is having now is that he doesn't know their level of ruthlessness yet.
I really don't think the police can help because it's a third party that is giving him all this intelligence and it will be very difficult to have evidence against them.
They can't do anything to him in the other country since they are powerless there.
Their only strength is Nigeria and they have many ways to attack my friend there.
1)send assassins to trail him.
2)Attack his trucks on land from my warehouse to the jetty.
3)Attack his goods at sea since this is where they say they'll attack as they know a lot of militants in those waters and they attack those vessels a lot, talk more of when someone is paying them to do it.
He talked to his agent there and he said he shouldn't worry, but he feels the agent just wants him to keep bringing goods so he continues making money.

It is always wise to know what your business partners are capable of before going into business with them. That's why I mentioned that they were once his friends and should have learned everything there is to know about them. If he doesn't know then he should assume the worst.

It's good he has itemized the ways they can hurt him. Has he itemized the way he can hurt them? I would have suggested employing body guards and security escorts but no preventive mechanism is full proof. If they can attack goods at sea then they are people with means and should be treated with utmost care.

What he needs to do is to make moves that will effectively incapacitate them. If he does not have the means or information to act on then he might need to setup a meeting with the new buyers. Find a way to convince them that all of you are in the shit together. That a threat against you is a threat against them. Transfer some of the responsibility for security to them like shipment of the goods for an incentive.
Family / Re: Please Help And Analyze.its important. by YourCoffin: 9:05pm On Oct 04, 2019
They were his friends so he must have accessed their strengths and weaknesses. His actions should be based on the information he has. Involving the police depends on how system works in the country they reside. If it's Nigeria no need involving the police.

If I were to be in that position I will attack before they do. In this kind of business setting, it's best not to bring emotions to it. It can get you killed. It has become clear to them that you can do without them while they can't. Consequently, they have nothing to lose, which makes them deadly enemies.

Very good advise.
Reason I have not stopped stockpilling the Zeniths and UBA's of this world.
Apart from future capital appreciation which is not guaranteed (there is a tendency though), until quarterly and audited annual reports are published post listing, it doesnt compete favourably with existing leaders in dividend yield.
As for the calculations, its for discerning investors who love crunching numbers to digest and make their decisions/perceptions dazol.

Thanks.

That’s an investor speaking but who you are (a trader or an investor) will determine whether you should take his/her advise..
he/she knows anything less than 10% is not worth the abracadabra and bojuboju that comes with investing in stocks.. at least if the stock price no move up, you go use dividend hold body.. but if the dividend small, better to do T-bills or fix deposit..

Thanks.

UNBIASED REPORTAGE
People of God, I am done with my findings on Airtel Africa regarding this IPO.
Current dividend yield hovers around 5%ish.
For those who need to make their investment decision before IPO closes on Thursday, please find below:

The estimated Earnings Per Share (EPS) for Airtel Africa based on the issued share capital of 3.7bn shares and US$450m profit is US$0.12.
Converted to Naira, EPS is between N37.20 and N43.90 based on the Official and NAFEX exchange rates respectively.
We estimate the P/E ratio at 9.8x and 10.3x respectively.
According to the IPO prospectus, the company intends to pay 80% of consolidated free cashflow as dividend.
However, the dividend pay-out is dependent on a leverage ratio between 2.5x and 3.5x.
This ratio is currently at 3.01x, so we estimate dividend per share (US$0.07) to be N20.10 and N23.72 based on Official and NAFEX exchange rates respectively
Based on the offer price of N363-N454, this translates to a dividend yield of 5.5% and 5.2% respectively.

You are the CEO of your life! grin

All this calculations just be like a maze in my eyes. Don't know how you did the calculation but my focus is the dividend yield. My mentor told me to stay away from any stock with a dividend yield that is less than 10%. Is that a good advice?

Brother you are in for a rude awakening. Having sex or losing your virginity wouldn't improve your life in anyway.

You'll still have wet dreams...
And your life will still be the mess you made it.

Sex worker, girlfriend or wife? — it doesn't matter.

Whomever you decide to lose it to wouldn't define your self worth. Just use protection if you deem it necessary.

Wrong.

Having frequent sex stops wet dreams. Also, you develope a clear thought process after ejaculation.

40 and 2 are kind of contradicting themselves. Why should it be over-valued when a female does it and under-valued when a male does it?

In reality, the opposite of 20 is what they want you to do otherwise you are tagged as incompetent.

25 is wrong. Instead, they should be pointed out with care and with the aim of correction in mind.

33 is also wrong. The record will to a large extent help measure your capacity to comply to 28.

Aside these, the requests are reasonable....
Family / Re: Men In The House Can You Will Your Wealth To Your Wife? by YourCoffin: 12:48pm On Jun 04, 2019
Biglittlelois:

I narrowed it down to your wife because you made no mention of her, like she is a stranger living with you who is meant to breed, then sideline her when it comes to a will and properties.

Evil shouldn't meet evil, repay evil with good, having a mentality that a wife can wish the unthinkable without being married yet is wrong to say the least, the wife is human, she has a right to a will, it is a form of security for her too.

Did you also notice I made no mention of my parents or siblings? If the wife is a good mother to the kids, they will naturally take care of her from their inheritance.

Why should I repay evil with good? Am I Jesus Christ? You just judged all men based on the thought of one man and you are asking me not do the same? Is it not baffling?

Nobody has any right to any will. They owner dispensates his or her priorities the way he or she chooses. I'm privy to a lot of citizen's financial documents and I see who majority of married women choose as their next of kin so don't be sanctimonious about my decision. It is made based on observation and in line with current reality.
