wizzyrich:This is no time for listing the economic impact of our absence in the north. Let everyone get ready to be moved out of his/her comfort zone. There's going to be suffering from all sides but at least we know that that suffering has an expiry date and we know that our side will sorted on time. Leave them to do as they think is best. |
tyup:Seems you're poor in deduction. That the people are protesting against it is a form of negotiation. It means they have a say in their land and one slow personality be it a governor cannot legitimize the camping death in their backyard. Learn to comprehend things. |
MyGeneration:Even in the US, cattle rearing is limited to some states and not all over. That's why cowboys are known to be from Texas and other areas. You must think we're daft... such an insult to our sensibilities. Limit your ruga to your sharia states. We will sell you grasses while you sell us cattle after transporting them down to our regions. That's our own set up. |
Cherrybae:Lol. Which one is EU Congo again? Are you not Igbo again Mr Impostor? We know your type cowards. No strategy you bring will make us cede an inch of our lands or access to your greedy demands. Our case is already out there before the international community and IPOB is very formidable world wide. All your strategies are dead on arrival you thieves who love to reap where they never sowed. You're killing Hausas in Zamfara despite how they welcomed you for over 300yrs. You don't deserve an ally because of your selfishness. Afonja welcomed Alimi but today you've usurped his land and throne. We've known you for long and are prepared for you. Crawl back from whence you came and tell them you've failed. Cowards! |
My post has been hidden again. Well, may he who's doing not benefit from my forewarning. I rest my case. |
garfield1:Even the Wase doesn't belong to them so no ruga on the Plateau. However, it's the call of the indigenes. I'll only support them in that regard. |
Juliusmalema:You think you're smart but you're just the opposite. Southern Kaduna people who gave out their land 40yrs ago are still been killed in their thousands by this same fulanis and you want plateau people to accept it. Another tribe in Plateau state made the mistake and they paid for it. The tribe is called Tarok. The occupy langtang LGA. This people welcomed the fulanis ages ago and gave them some lands to stay. After many years, the fulanis made their 'Ardo' to be an emir and created an emirate. Today, that emirate is known as Wase Emirate in Wase LGA. There have been constant battle between the Tarok and the fulanis in this LGA for long even before the Jos crisis. Fulanis met their match there but the Tarok couldn't recover their land. Any Tarok person on Nairaland can corroborate my story. Plateau state will resist the nonsense ruga. Settle the numerous IDPs on the plateau first before discussing herdsmen private business. |
tyup:You lie. The Plateau I know is never gone to the fulani merchants of death. If Southern Kaduna which is just a fraction of Plateau is still holding on why will Plateau throw in the towel? Fulanis are cowards if not let them come out in a frontal assault. Plateau people will resist them. Lalong is a fool. He acts just like the average western Nigerians do. He thinks appeasing the Fulanis in some areas will make them love you. He has failed to realize that Fulanis have no friends not even the Hausas. See what's happening in Zamfara. Simon Lalong will soon be killed by this same fulanis. It's just like the Munchis(Tivs) who think they're fulanis' ally. Thousands of them have been slaughtered with there Tor Tiv chased away from his ancestral location. Governor Simon Lalong is a fool. Let his Shendam people call him to order now. |
Guestlander:Lol. Know your history correctly. It's in the 1800 (19th century) the Afonja debacle happened. Igbos are not after invading anyone. |
Lol. This is the first time I'm hearing of a Fulani Sarki with a throne. Fulanis mostly operate the emirate system with an emir. The word 'Sarki' is Hausa and it's the Hausas that use it outside their primary domain to signify their leader who most times doubles are the fulani nominal kings too. In the absence of the Sarki hausawa in any area, the Fulanis have a leader they term 'Ardo. This leader is well respected even when he has no throne. This new development calls for concern but knowing who the Yorubas are, I'll leave them to their ' sophistication'. That man you see there will most likely head an emirate in the near future. Remember that a Sarkin hausawa is also present in Lagos (recall the one Osinbajo visited before the election). All I see is fulanis pushing the right button in Yorubaland while Yorubas are fixated of sending away Ndigbo from their region. They even say Ndigbo mustn't have anything like 'Eze Ndigbo' in Yorubaland but I'm yet to see any of them kick against a new sarkin fulani. Like some Yorubas will say, 'ko kan aye'. We are watching. |
deji17:What's Taraba doing in that list? I thought the governor openly rejected it? |
Juliusmalema:Agent of confusion we have seen you. Ndigbo are very wise. Umahi has spoken the mind of SE & SS. There's no proof that he initially did other wise. Crawl back to where you were exhumed and be proud of your ancestry you impostor. |
nasoeb:Exactly what I've been saying but a lot of naive posters have been talking trash about ' for the interest of peace. I've asked them if all those murdered in their ancestral lands asked for war from the fulani militia but they've refused to respond. The reality is that thousands will die first before all other tribes understand what the Igbos have been saying all along. Posterity has vindicated us. We warned but we were termed 'hateful'. Shit has hit the fan and everyone is cryin. We're watching. |
Dpharisee:Exactly what I had in mind. Changing names from grazing reserves to cattle colonies and presently ruga. There's nothing else that matters to Buhari. His intentions are quite obvious but Nigerians are too daft to challenge him. If it were in other countries, heavy demonstration would have erupted. All the IDPs fulani militia aka herdsmen have caused have not received a dime to help them get back to their productive lives but all we hear is billions donated to cattle readers doing their personal business. Woe betide anyone supporting this evil agenda. Any way, what must be must be. We are watching. |
Debaks1:Somalia and Libya is a different case. If you know their history you will understand better. Nigeria's case is very clear. One small tribe whose origin is originally not from Nigeria today wants to take the lands of aborigines forcefully and they have slaughtered thousands. What do you fear? To die or to live in a peaceful country. Are you comfortable with the present killings? Are you willing to grant them every desires of their until the day the demand of your very life? Fulanis are very small but their guts is big. Your type can fall for them but millions of my type will put them where they belong. When it starts you will see it. |
Debaks1:Do you think what you wrote here makes any sense? Thousands have died and majority of them are innocent farmers, villagers and travellers. Remember Agatu, remember Southern Kaduna and even Uzo-Uwani. It doesn't bother you because you're safe- tucked away in some remote place. People have been bleeding and sadly it's not those murderers that suffer. If it takes a whole national chaos to put a stop to the madness so be it. You're still myopic in reasoning. Tomorrow, your entire village might be razed down by the Fulani militia yet you're trying to sound civilized. Go and think the situation thoroughly. |
gwarotango:Lol. You think cowardly facing me with a new moniker will do you any good? What's there in an army? Young men bearing arms with a cause? You make me laugh. Go ask those who faced Ndigbo during the Biafran War and they'll tell you what they saw. Ndigbo are ever ready to defend their land. You can see compliance of IPOB directed rallies and other programmes. That's our strength not some sell out politicians who are yet to face the wrath of our people. In due time they will see hell. They have no where to hide as we are scattered all over the countries of the world. We will hunt them down. If they're wise they'll reconsider what they're doing. I repeat Igboland and the entire Biafra is sacrosanct. We will defend her. You know that we've the numerical strength. Go tell that to your blood thirsty brothers. |
AllenSpencer:Mr. Allen, there's no room for ruga, grazing reserve or zango in Venue state. The people have spoken. Any herder interested in livestock farming should buy land and practice ranching as it's done in developed countries. No any gimmick is accepted to the Venue people. Meanwhile, they are still mourning the thousands fulani herdsmen murdered in cold blood and are demanding the arrest and prosecution of the culprits. |
Debaks1:There's sense in that if you look at the bigger picture. Let's say it goes according to how you projected and there's chaos everywhere, the whole Nigeria will be under state of emergency and the whole fulani plan will be scuttled. They'll leave all the camps in the southern forests and relocate back to base. That's how it will end till they restrategize. On the other hand, if you act civilized like you want to sound, soon whole villages would be sacked in Southern Nigeria and most of the victims will be only southerners. Now chose the one you want. |
Why is it that any time a unanimous repulsion of the fulani militia is about to get to the flash point, someone here on Nairaland will bring the war stories to create distraction? I've noticed this for long now. Any way, what must be must be. We're watching. |
This message goes to all the Igbo governors in their respective states. Governors are meant to be leaders but not all of you are leaders. A position remains just a position until your actions and inactions justifies your capacity as a worthy occupant of that position. What better time to be a governor than now! Trouble times create heroes who often times would most likely have been just average. In times of crises, your courage, boldness and wisdom is tested. Today our states are openly being invaded and you remained silent. The invaders have disregarded all the laws of the land while they encourage you to keep to those same laws. Buhari will forever be hailed by fulanis for giving them such a boldness to invade any part of the contraption because he chose all the military chiefs from his own people to protect them not minding what all of you think. They ensure the commissioners of police in our states come from there people for a reason. They've revoked gun licenses from other people while fulani herdsmen move about with assault rifles brazenly with fear of arrest because they know that no one will do such. Today, fulanis have the temerity to ask to form a vigilante on our soil while you guys just stay defensive. Our people have reported seeing Helicopters dropping supplies in our forest to the fulani militias there but non of you have even made attempt to confirm it. What then make you leaders of our people? If you can't secure of land it simply means you can't maintain status quo let alone develop them. As such, you're not worthy of those positions you occupy. As for our people, natural born leaders will emerge in your silence and offer the needed guidance while all of you will fade away in oblivion with no good name or even wealth as you imagine. Ndigbo are a blessed people and we entertain no fear due to your lethargy in this face of fulani affront. IPOB have been correct all alone hence the majority of us pitch our tent with her. As for you guys, it's not too late to wake up to your responsibilities as Governor Wike of Rivers state has done openly. If Nigeria is a secular state, why is she a member of OIC? Why is sharia operating in hausaland and why do they have the hisbah police operating side by side with the Nigerian Police? Wake up and act now! There's no better time than now. |
Let this message get to Alhaji Gidado Saddik in that we the people of South East, a part of Igboland and the entire Ndigbo throughout Biafraland reject whatever proposal he's bringing and will intend to bring. Our voice is unanimous in saying our stance on any fulani case. Take your ranches, ruga or zango to fulaniland. You will not form any vigilante in Igboland. The only one permitted on our soil is the one operated by Ndigbo. Any attempt to foist your militia in our lands would be interpreted as an invasion whether you are supported by the Buhari led FG or not. Our land remains sacrosanct and must be policed by those we're comfortable with. Our people can see through all the subtle plans you're dishing out. We're too big for the entire fulani nation. |
Actually Nigeria is at about 200yrs behind USA in everything. With the type of system in place in Nigeria, even next 50yrs, the capacity to build an aeroplane won't be attainable talk more of a drone. |
hisexcellency34:Lol. Chaaaaiiii!. It's not by size but by colour. |
mvem:Betrayals have been in existence right from time and they're found among all people. We won't because of the few among us remain silent in the face of such as threat. As such we're sounding the warning loud and clear. Biafraland and by extension Igboland is sacrosanct. No one get trade for for rubbish gains. IPOB is audible and formidable to stand for her. |
Unrated900:Disgusting impostor! Crawl back to the crevice from where came. |
mvem:We aren't defeatist like you guys. Every Igbo man knows how we are wired. Keep your non-challant attitude to yourself! |
Juliusmalema:You agent of confusion be warned! Umahi's folly cannot be used to condemn ndiEbonyi. His actions and inactions remains entirely his to answer. Every group of people have one sell out willing to do the bidding of his payers. Rochas Okorocha was one of such and Ndimo rejected him. Same awaits Umahi if he's truly culpable in this particular political chess at play. I won't condemn him for now until it's proven of his involvement. Shame on you. NdiEbonyi remain a strong and loyal branch of the great tree called Ndigbo. |
Nigeriabiafra80:It's not Ok based on your counter point. We won't do such a nonsense trade. The Nigerian Army is their appendage everywhere. Why do you think they always try to have commissioners of police in Southern Nigeria from northern states but not vice versa in the north especially in core Hausa states? This is the reason for it. Once you allow your enemy dictate the pace of your engagement, you're bound to lose. They want to have a standing army in SE ably supported by their brothers in Nigerian Army. It should be resisted by all means possible. Any Igbo person who accedes to it should be skinned alive. Let them form their vigilante in Zamfara and Katsina where it's needed. The only vigilante in SE is the one by Ndigbo. QED! |
nwanyionitsha:Ok |
