Politics › Re: I’m Ashamed That I've Not Been Able To Pay Pensioners - Governor, Samuel Ortom by zedman1(m): 1:01pm On Sep 10, 2019
jimharry21:
Perhaps the worst governor in recent memory. But then, I think every nation and people deserve a leader that they get. The Benue people were deceived that the reason for his non performance in the first term was herdsmen so they voted him a second term disregarding all the tell tell signs. Well I can only wish them quick recovery cos that state under this governor is obviously stateless.
No we were not deceived about his herdsmen stunt, we knew the game he was playing because herdsmen/farmers crisis isn't alien to us. Rather it's the entire nation he fooled with that stunt. Why he got reelected is a more foolish reason far more than the herdsmen stunt, trust me.

If you were from Benue you would have understood why Buhari surprisingly still got massive support from Benue. Ortom is the major reason Nigerians are so divided. He is a devil.

What about defeating the fulani herdsmen?
The trick he used to deceive the world. It is only people living outside the state and a few dumb people within the state who fell for his stunt. I will continue to say that Ortom is by far the worst governor we've ever had. If only you know how Benue politics operate then you will know the stupid reason he was reelected.

Please don't be openly daft. I told you to go back and read the OP, you refused, only to come back with an argument the OP already addressed - Jesus turning water into wine.

If you had followed my advice, you won't be making an open display of ignorance. Take my advice this time and get your lips away from alcohol. It's Sunday morning.
Why are you so rude about this topic? Of all the comments I've read so far yours is just.... I dont know bro, and you're a Christian who doesn't drink, yet....Hmm. Your conduct reminds me of the passage which says " they attack with violence what they do not understand ".

Every past president, no matter how bad they ruled, at certain points become saints. It's the norm, it's just that Nigerians don't know this fact. We are very quick to judge, quick to forgive and we forget like we have fish brains. We dont know when we do these things. I said same here about Yar'adua, Jonathan and I will say it again. The next president will 'see pepper '. Buhari by then will become a saint.

If you mean the history of football then I believe you should go and watch the Italian 1990 world cup save by one Columbian goal keeper or so called Roger Miller. He used his two legs from behind to save a high flying shot. It was not a flook ooo, he practically did that with full confidence as he watched the ball flying towards the net.
I thought it was Jorge Campos of Mexico who did that in US' 94 or so?

For the very first time i am supporting Yahaya Bello.
That's the strategy they use. They know we are very quick to forget so they misbehave for a lifetime and fake being good for a couple of days and we forgive and forget. I said it that Bella might surprisingly return just like Ortom, the two worst governors in Nigeria.

My dear no offense but you seem a little lost. Where and when did they kill the leader of Boko Haram? Their leader is still very much alive and that is why they are still growing. If he had been killed or captured then trust me, they would have been history by now.
You're wrong here, surprisingly some persons do not know how Boko haram started. It was somehow similar to this case but still I'm marveled how some persons think El Zackwhatever is a nice guy.

For me personally, I don't really have much problems with the IMN so long as their activities is restricted to the North. (mind you, Abuja is not part of the NORTH here)
When I mentioned Boko haram to some colegues in Nnewi back then around 2012 or so, they didn't even know what I was talking about. Later on, the narrative, particularly from people leaving in the far east was " make them de kill themselves". Fast forward to 2013/2014, virtually all states in Nigeria were directly or indirectly affected by Boko haram. Some of us lost relatives and close ones. There were times ladies weren't allowed to walk into churches with their hand bags as security measures due to the spate of incessant bombings across the nation. Then I was in your 'Abuja' and we literally had our livers tucked in our butts all for fear of Boko haram. Read what you wrote again and think about it. I hope your thoughts are confined only to this crazy social media world and not how you reason in real life.

It's by far the best audio player I've used. N7player has been an alternative for me but I've been having issues with the latest upgrade. Volume suddenly drops on activation of

Sports › Re: Chukwueze Has Done More Work In 90 Minutes Than My Governor In 4 Years-twitter by zedman1(m): 12:19pm On Jul 13, 2019
Jaymaxxy:
Please, I am interested in this. Can you please summarise the whole story?
1. Ortom is from Zone B, same as Jime his contender. In Benue, Only Zone A and B(The Tivs) are elected governors. Zone C are minority tribes(Idomas, Igedes etc).
If Jime had won it will mean 12 years of Zone B rule. Zone A will not let that happen. They prefer he finishes his rubbish because 8 year rotation of power between Zones A and B is the norm here. And of course Zone B voted for him because he is "their brother ". Is that not a stupi.d reason?

2. In the just concluded elections, the people of Benue didn't vote along party lines. Jime's wife is Idoma( Zone C). Zone C is predominantly a PDP Zone but surprisingly APC won in all but one or two local governments either because they all knew Ortom was incompetent or Jime's wife is from zone C. Some of Zones A and B would never have it happen that their first lady is from Zone C. Sentiments came into play here, another stupi.d reason.
In conclusion, Benue politics is so complex and stupi.d to an outsider and to some extent stupi.d to us too. Benue is almost strictly a Civil service state only interested in a governor who even if he does nothing towards developing the state, should at least be able to pay workers' salaries. Ortom hid behind the Fulani crises which we all know has been a major problem donkey of years before his emergence to cover for his incompetence. He only let Nigerians know about the carnage( which is indeed a good thing) but it wasn't reason enough to leave the people in penury. Four years, no employment , no infrastructure, no salaries, just Fulani this, Fulani that, who doesn't know about Fulani in Benue? How did other governors before him handle it? With steady Federal government allocations to the state unlike before yet nothing to show. It's the reason Benue surprisingly voted Buhari again. These are our stupi.d reasons, I hope you understand?.

But you people gave him a second term.
Far more than half..... What am I saying? Almost everybody from Benue hates Ortom, you would understand why he remains the governor if I explain but the reasons are too stupi.d. so I rather not state them. He's the worst Benue has ever had, I'm not joking.

Wrong, look at the picture again, from all indications he is referring to our Governor, the second in command, next to Yahaya Bello...... Ortom of Benue State.
