I know that Fashola's paid agents will start to react the moment the post hits. Well let me assure you that you will soon get tired bc we have just started to show the world how corrupt Fashola's govt is and the grand deceit called Fashola's performance I'm sorry but, I always find it really hard to make any sense out of the way you come up with your conclusions and conspiracy theories. |

conda00410: Hello Doc, kindly advice, sometimes 3 weeks ago I observed my urine is accompanied with a painful sensation and hot feeling, I went ahead to consult a medical expert, Ciprofloaxin 500mg was recommended which I took for 2weeks, I observed a whitish discharged on the 4th day of taking the drug, although it was very minute (like a quarter of a drop). I went back to see my Dr to lodge this complain and he advised I go for a urine test, The test result showed no bacterial except for pus which he said was decreasing, 1week after this little colorless discharge persists and I went back to see another Dr in same hospital, after going through my file he recommended doxxycline 100mg with 2injection (don't know the name of the injection). He said I should take the drug for 7 days, this is my 4th day and I can't see a clearance of the discharge. Kindly counsel on what to do next. The symptoms you complained of coupled with the whithish penile discharge, strongly indicate urethritis (Inflammation of the urethra). In males, the commonest causes are the STDs caused by Gonococcus +/- Chlamydia. A lot of times, both bacteria are present simultaneously, so if you have been having unprotected s.exual intercourse, that is most likely the cause of your symptoms. Many laboratory tests done in Nigeria will not detect chlamydia and gonococcus in your urine because, they require a lot of things for them to be cultured. However, from your second visit, i suspect the injection you received was for the treatment of gonococcal urethritis, while doxycycline was used for treatment of chlamydia, so it is important to complete your treatment as advised by you doctor. Diseases treated with the right medicine may fail for different reasons, therefore if after completing your treatment, you still have symptoms, you need to go back to your doctor to consider other possibillites. For more information http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/438091-overviewAlso, you have to abstain from s.exual intercourse for now until seven days after successful treatment, so you do ot spread the disease to people who could get you reinfected. And possible s.exual contacts also need to be screened and maybe treated. |

Nigeria: Don't Tag All Muslims As Terrorists - Sultan
Lagos — The Sultan of Sokoto and President, Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) Alhaji Saad Abubakar has said it is not right to generalise the entire Muslims as terrorists whenever an individual among them does something wrong.
Sultan Abubakar, who spoke in Lagos at a fund raiser for the Najah Joint Muslim Organizations (NAJOMO) mosque at the weekend, said rather than accuse all Muslims of terrorism, the acts of the United States and its agents should as well be examined.
He alleged that violent acts being perpetrated all over the world were being carried out by non-Muslims, including American citizens and agents of the American government. According to him, many Christians and Jews perpetrate terror acts on a daily basis but they are not tagged terrorists by the US and the media.
"Our dear brother, the Baba Addini of Egba Land (Adegbite) was correct when he said Muslims are not terrorists and that Islam is a religion of peace. Let me add here that some people somewhere are known for their lies against Islam and Muslims. Violent acts are perpetrated all over the world by adherents of different faiths and not only Muslims commit them.
Let me say here that it is unfair to Muslims and Islam for the US government to rush, as it used to do, to tag Muslims as terrorists whenever they commit any violent act. It is sad that if an adherent of any other religion commit any terror act the US and the media would not call such a person a terrorist, the US and the media must change this.
"I make bold to say that if we should put all violent acts being perpetrated all over the world by Americans and the ones Muslims commit on a scale, we would surely see that those being committed by the US citizens outweigh those they claim Muslims committed. But as Muslims we should try to change this negative attitude they have towards us. We can change this by showing them the beauty of our religion", he said.
http://www.abna.ir/data.asp?lang=3&id=180988 Well then, the Government of Naija must compel him, as well as other religious leaders to make a public statement to condemn the people responsible for the recent violence in Jos or else!!! Religious leaders have a very strong influence on Nigerians, whether positive or negative! |

Hardtalk: Now that this has happened, surely there will be retaliation. Will there ever be an end to this madness? Time will tell. People only take laws into their hands when Governments don't do what they are supposed to do. If the government can 1. Arrest and try the masterminds behind the scene including those directly involved, try them in court and punish appropriately. 2. Send a very strong warning that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated and will never go unpunished. 3. Also, we have to be careful about inciting religious arguments/fights especially here on Nairaland Then this will never happen again. |

Until that snake, Lieutenant General Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau chief of army staff is sacked I doubt if there will be any change.
Jonathan needs to be bold and do the right thing, left to me I will not care about my life in such circumstances I will simply do the right thing. Which is to sack the untrustworthy security heads, appoint new ones and arrest all the perpetuators of the riots and violence we have in parts of Nigeria today. You have spoken! And the time for that action is now. People who are supposed to be responsible for our lives have not held accountable and also, the guilty, mindless killers have never been arrested and made to face the hangman's noose. That is the reason for all the lawlessness!!! |

This is what Igbo people term "Ewu eri ma okuko atu" (the goat will not eat, but will make sure the chicken does not peck either). For fear of the north losing power, we are missing out on a golden opportunity to change Nigeria, and people are here telling me of some "Nigerian elite". The best Nigeria elite I know (MKO Abiola) died in a military junta's jail with all his money. That is how powerful the military is. That is our history. I hope you counted me out of this!!! The problem with Nairaland/Nigerians is too much talk talk from people who no get any action. Shakara olooje as baba Fela sang!!! They even try to prevent other people who want to act from doing their thing. Abeg, enough of too much talk talk and no action!!! Anybody wey get any other agenda, make e go start him own thread to gather supporters. Enough is Enough!!!

GenBuhari: @Ziga Of course , that all Nigerians need to stop corrupt practices, but this needs to come from strong non-corrupt government willing to implement law and order. It has to start from the top!! Well, we are the corrupt government!!! Ordinary Nigerians made it possible for the corrupt government to be there in the first place. Everybody would blame Obasanjo for imposing the current government on us, but i can't remember seeing Obasanjo stealing ballot boxes. And i know he didn't rig the elections by himself. We ordinary Nigerians make all these happen by selling our souls for a few bucks to these Government. So, all am saying is we point fingers without doing the right thing ourselves. |

ROSSIKE: Mr ezeagu, if you could shut your loud trap for a second and understand I was responsing to the person calling Nigeria the ''ant'' of Africa. Certainly it was only right to refer them to other nations.
And posting an image of some place in Uganda on the internet is ludicrous. If you are so sure, why not actually visit that country and look around?
I'm sure you'll get a more accurate appraisal of the place than you can in a year's selective browsing of the internet. Ode.
You idiots think you can just get on a computer and type any demeaning rubbish that comes into your head, forgetting that many of us actually travel around Africa, and will put you straight when you talk too much rubbish.
I repeat, VISIT these places personally, and then come back and tell us Nigeria is the ''ant'' of Africa. Don't sit in Nigeria or wherever, knowing NOTHING and thinking you know anything. Thank you. Even people from countries that have nothing still respect their motherland! But a lot of Nigerians who haven't seen nothing of the world will use every opportunity they get too put down Naija. |

I travel out of this country to sensitized people to invest in Africa, In my little way by the grace of God i am doing my best. From what you said you do, then i suppose your contribution helps in making us a good Giant. GenBuhari: @ Ziga and Dominique,
It seems you missed completely, the point that the poster is making. he is quite rightly saying that it is a disgrace that our government are so corrupt that they cannot even provide basic essential amenities, utilities and infrastructure for our populace.
Don't tell me he is wrong.
Very very sad. I see the poster's point of view, but i want you to see mine. Nigeria's reputation is because of the people in it. Therefore, the bad side of naija is coz we have bad people doing bad things. If more people do good things, then i guess we'll still be Giants. So, before you start to blame people for doing the wrong things, make sure you are doing the right thing yourself. |

But in analyzing data like these correctly, you have to consider some other things like population distribution. So, the fact that the highest number of deaths was in Lagos would not mean much. |
Music/Radio › Re: Why Are Nigerian Musicians Forever Copying African American/jamaican Artistes? by ziga: 10:13pm On Mar 05, 2010 |
Just like technology and every other thing, music too has to move along. The kind of music we get now in Nigeria reflects what most of the people that matter in the music business love listening to. And music is business. You give people what they want or you are a loser.
If you are finding it difficult to identify with the current type of music, then i would say you have trouble letting go of your past. Just like the old school guys who will never want to have anything to do with a computer. They just love their pen and paper and would defend it at all cost.
In summary, i'm just saying, the fact that you don't like it does not mean its all trash.
And by the way, jamaican artists that have not been afraid of letting go of their sentiments ("copycats") have done better internationally e.g sean paul, sean kingston but the ones who stick to their anti-batty man anthems e.g vybz kartel, movado haven't gone beyond the shores of the caribbean.
Its all about business! |

When you don't exercise properly, you get cramps. Ask professional athletes and footballers. intimacy is a lot of exercise, so considering that you have been gaining weight and you live a sedentary life, you will definitely develop cramps. Start exercising daily, it sounds like you really need it. Start with light stretches, do some aerobics to work up some sweat and also stretch before you end. Better still, will be for you to join a gym and work with a professional trainer. Calculate your BMI here - coz it seems you've crossed over to overweight. http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bminojs.htm |
