We Nigerians, are a very conflicted people. We want to believe in Justice but at the same time most also believe their "anointed" should not be touched All dangerous rituals that are being held in the name of religion should be subjected to the Nigerian law or whatever remains of it. This includes all the excesses of all Pastors, Imams or who else may think they are above the law because of anointing!!! |
How many "hospitals" in Nigeria have CT scanners? Or even electricity to operate them when needed? |

Not taking away from Davido. But for the NPF to have taken orders from him shows that we have not learned the lesson. Justice should be unbiased. Based on laws and not influenced by how much money or IG followers you have. So, If davido asked them to arrest or harass the next brother, would they have done that? |
I see a house. What makes this an ultra modern hospital ![]() |
Soap and Water... + Sunlight |
For those blaming the media. Racism has existed for years before the media. All the talk about the media is just one big distraction from the actual crime. Same thing happens when rapists say their rape victims were asking for it. And then they try to make it about what the victim was wearing. As if that is a lesser crime than the act of rape itself. Racism, has evolved so much. Hidden in religion, politics, government policies, that put groups of people at a disadvantage on the basis skin color. It is a shame that Africa - a continent that probably is the most disadvantaged by these policies does not see it. I guess that is how it is meant to be. If you can't see it, how can you even know that you have been wronged. Best of luck to Africa. |
Dogs bite!!! You don't leave a baby around any DOG period. Especially if it is a big dog. Dogs bite for different reasons. Sometimes jealousy especially with a new baby in the house. A lot of Dogs in Nigeria are bred as protective Dogs. So they are usually weary of anything that is new in the home. BTW that looks like a Rotweiler. Just like a few other people have already commented. |
Cervical cancer screening machine. Abeg warris dat? |
Run flats... Like you said can be driven for up to 50 miles despite a puncture. However, they are expensive and are not supposed to be repaired. They need to be replaced for them to continue to function as they were meant to be. And they have nothing to do with spares. Usually cars that are fitted with run flats do not come with spare tires. The small size of spares aka "donuts" is space and weight saving. |
Does Nigeria have laws against discrimination? If it is indeed a public place, they have to clearly define what their admission policy is. And if their policies are discriminatory, it will be a shame that the Nigerian government will allow this to happen in their own boundaries. |
Did Mr. Obi actually state how he plans on actualizing his plans for Nigeria. Or his speech was all about his crammed "statistacs" |
Potholes should not be on major roads. The person responsible for that road caused this unfortunate incident. Hold the right person responsible. But instead, we will blame devil. |
I wish I didn't see those pictures. Surgeon with his mask off his face... Skin on the hands of the surgeons exposed. We wonder why our health indices are in the gutter. |
Lies. Unfortunately, people will believe anything. |
Conflict of interest laws are not new. If true, this is a good development. It is not fair to the government hospitals, for doctors to work at their private institutions while on the government hospital time. Also, it is not fair for the business of the government hospital, if their patients can be diverted to the doctor's private clinic. Bottom line is that for healthcare to improve, government hospitals need to be run better and everybody needs to be accountable. Above all healthcare needs to be properly funded. Either by the government directly or via private insurance companies. Otherwise, healthcare workers will continue to scramble for peanuts and leave for more profitable jobs. |
blackpanda:Empty barrels make a lot of noise. I wouldn't stoop to your level. |
Nigerians all of a sudden have just realized that people get fake NYSC certificates?? |
blackpanda:Tax evasions?? Please don't spread fake news. The FBI has nothing to do with Taxes. The IRS does. American tax laws are complex and a lot of people use the loop holes created by the complexity to avoid paying taxes. Legal but fraudulent. But not criminal. And as far as we know, the media hasn't exposed anything about Trumps taxes. |
NYSC certificate?? Much ado about nonsense!!! |
Anger is being directed at the wrong party. Don't make Nigeria like the US, where money is wasted on frivolous law suits and investigations. And that is one of the things that makes medical practice there expensive. A lot of unnecessary medical practices so that they will not be sued. Medicine in Nigeria needs to be improved. No doubt. But not this way. |
The problem is the Nigerian society. So many times, I pass through the airport and I see so many "officials" pretending to be doing jobs that they are clearly not qualified for. Unqualified people hold all sorts of positions in our country. Worst thing is that records of anything barely exist and there is no way to verify anybody's qualifications. It is a Nigerian problem. Professional bodies are clearly not doing their jobs. |
Dem no dey use coffin for Brazil? ![]() Don't believe everything you see on the Internet ooo |
Makes a lot of sense. Be nice and courteous to everybody, regardless of gender, pastor, account balance, chief or common man or woman. |
Also, Nigerians can be destructive. No sense of responsibility. Act like they have no part in keeping the place nice. |
Obviously armed to the teeth... |
"Fulani Herdsmen" are now kidnapping people and demanding ransome? Ok ooo. |
Fulani herds men ![]() |
QueenSuccubus:And you can tell all of that from a single picture. Genius... Genius... |
The internet makes it easy to propagate falseness. In the first 2 pictures, the person with the cuts looks dead. The last picture, the man getting IV fluids and with the dressing over his head looks like he is of a bigger build than the first 2 pictures. Just my observations. And I think the story is false. Facebook was manipulated by Russians during the US elections. Who is manipulating Nigerians ![]() The world is changing... |
Ignorance is the biggest disease ever. Nothing wrong in not knowing what it is... The ignorant thing about this is that some people choose to create news out of some other person's misfortune. The child's mother is definitely devastated. Carried a pregnancy for 9 months and ends up with a dead child. Nigerians should have a heart. We claim to be the most religious people on earth. Have a heart, share the mother's burden and misfortune and mourn with her. Stop all these picture taking. Or else, you will suffer the same fate!!! Karma exists ooo. You have been warned!!! |
To the photographer. I pray somebody also takes your picture in your moment of pain and suffering. Ami. |
