misano:From everything I type, you know fit understand wetin I want. Oga police ![]() After dem don catch real criminals finish, then make dem continue with their check point business. In fact, I go build check point with AC booth in their honor. |
How many criminals have they arrested from forming illegal road blocks and intimidating common citizens? Abeg let them go and do their jobs instead of extorting and accidentally discharging upon hardworking Nigerians. "Fulani herdsmen" dey there Boko haram dey there Evans dey there, dem no catch. Sorry. They caught evans. |
It is now Militia group abi? Lol I thought all the vigilante attacks are usually tagged "Fulani herdsmen" But why would Fulani herdsmen attack Fulani people? In that case, it has to be Vigilantes. Lol I think that there are people in high places who conspire and create and propagate this imaginary hate along religious lines for their personal benefit and we continue to fall for the crap. Unfortunately, we do not have any sort of criminal justice system to get to the facts!!! Truthfully a country is doomed. |
So, this is what we call great news. First a summary of what we all know. And then to top it off... It has now been learnt that President Buhari has not spoken to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo by telephone since his departure. It has been learnt by who and from who. What does this even mean. I do not support an absent President. It is okay to hand over to the VP while you are still alive sir. But also, I do not support crap/fake news articles. |
folakemigeh:I'm sorry that you misunderstand what i meant. You should't change anything about you. You look pretty and you have a beautiful skin tone. But when you say you do not need to bleach, you imply that women with darker skin tones than you should bleach so that at the least, they can have your type of skin tone. And that is exactly how the black race has been enslaved. The media glorifies the white skin to the point that anybody who is darker would have to rethink what their life is about. Everybody is unique. And there is no standard skin tone to compare everybody with. We are all beautiful. Peace. No bad feelings dear. |
folakemigeh:There goes the problem. Mental slavery ![]() |
That is KENYA ![]() Looks like lies to generate fake news!!! |
Husty:I quote you. |
Mosquitos breed in standing water. As long as we continue to have open gutters and poor drainage, Mosquitos will continue to chop. |
Pidgin2:And I am tempted to say SHUT UP. But I wouldn't. |
With good health care, a lot of people with medical problems can live a reasonably good life. Thank goodness she is in London. Definitely wouldn't happen in our NAIJA. |
How are they Nigerians ![]() Because they have Nigerian roots?? Most black people have African roots. Doesn't mean they belong to any African country. Good to rep your race, but trying to claim everyone that is successful in other countries without developing your own country is cheap. |
I believe people of like minds should gather together and share ideas without unnecessary disruption. But I don't think it is right for Muslim/Christian only threads to be placed on the front page and comments be restricted to those who make some declaration and have a message placed on their profile. There is already a Religion/Muslim page and anybody who is interested can go directly there. But if you make a topic public or front page, it is only fair for it to be open for anybody to comment on. Otherwise, keep it to your "zone" It is like people who make a public post on facebook and then get mad when people comment on it. I don't support trolls or disrespectful people but that is no reason to have such an unreasonable/unfair policy. I hope the mods can think fairly and rationally about this restrictive and unfair policy. |
Let us all try to be rational!!! Who are these Fulani herds men? How many cattle do we even have in Nigeria. What is the herdsmen to cattle ratio? I have never seen more than a few herdsmen guarding their cattle. Please note that I am not disputing any killings or violent attacks, I am only trying to reason this mystery since nobody seems to be able to do this. While these herdsmen are attacking, where do they park their cattle? And I know that it is not easy to move cattle around, so why are they so elusive. They strike suddenly and are gone. If there are armed vigilantes terrorizing innocent Nigerians, lets call them armed vigilates. I don't understand how they are "fulani herdsmen" but yet they are not herding any cattle and they only go about attacking people. And if they are truly herdsmen, why is it so difficult for the Police, or Oduduwa or Nigerias jungle justice crew to follow their cattle to their base and do the needful? I am confused. |
Sometimes, Nairaland just seems so immature. |
Losers united!!! What does this have to do with feminism? Lol. Excuses for why he don't got game ![]() |
ekensi01:It is amazing when people voice their opinions on a public forum and expect that they have a monopoly of opinions. Mind your business too. I no go give you anything even if you beg. |
Damfostopper:Continue supporting. The day people will "accuse" you or your brother, you go say the Justice system was created for a reason. |
ekensi01:Not just Hausa men. This is no different from those who harass women for what they choose to wear. We all have different moral standards and as long as it is not against the law of the land, comot your eye and mind your business. |
Demanding cause of death from the hotel management? If they had nothing to do with it, how would they know? Even if they had something to do with it why would they tell? The usual style in Nigeria is to ask the management, blame them and burn down the hotel. Thank goodness this did not happen. Yet? |
softwerk:It doesn't seem like you have any idea what you are saying if you think this issue has anything to do with all you quoted. Gun violence has been a US problem for many years. |
Mental slavery! Nothing wrong with liking anything that pleases you, but we do not have to worship or become slaves to everything foreign. |
A lot of people run their mouth on NL and they have the guts to spew thrash about the fact that they can express their freedom of speech. Emancipate us from mental slavery!!! |
eyinjuege:As she wear jeans for "US operating theater", probably a tooth extraction ![]() |
damosky12:Respect is why Nigeria is in the sh!t it is in. We are afraid to question wrong things because of "respect". The older generations have swept Nigeria into the gutters but we will continue to "respect" The mentality of the average young Nigerian is to hustle and make it by hook or crook and then not do anything meaningful afterwards because everybody must "respect" them after they've arrived. Yet Nigerians are the most disrespectful. Who "respect" epp? Not me!!! Civilization requires law and order, so first come, first served. Therefore, join the line or queue |
It is cheap and sometimes unnecessary to lump multiple issues into one. Sympathizing with the UK is one issue and the Nigerian issue is another? So, by FFK's logic the minister is wrong for sympathizing regarding the death of humans. You can address the issue in Nigeria separately without politicizing every discussion. It's like pedophiles who justify their act by saying they also were abused as kids!!! Cheap shot. |
The average Nigerian of today is so different from the cultural values of our fore fathers that we were taught about. Where is the kindness in our hearts? If it is difficult for you to pray for a fellow brother when he is down, do you have to make things worse by saying unkind things. As "secular" and "ungodly" as America is, this kind of behavior is not tolerated by most people. This is proof that poverty is the biggest disease ravaging mankind |
From a survey of Nairaland responses, we can see that Nigerians prefer kidnappers, torturers and murderers to gay people!!! |
larrybee2017:Can you make a point without unnecessary insults? If we as Africans acted more civilized, maybe the soldier and countless innocent lives that have been lost to jungle justice will be alive today. She did nothing by raising an alarm. We should all be security conscious. She is guilty like all others, because she participated in the murder. And also the onlookers are partially culpable as well. The problem is when people take the law into their own hands. The legal system, in the ideal situation, is trained to handle such matters and determine guilt and punishment. The Soldier was already detained by the Mob. Please, learn to be civil. Because that is one of the biggest problems we have. We boast of having a great and respectful culture but we are one of the rudest people I have ever met. |
In summary, continue to suffer and smile. Even bigger airports are better organized and planned than the little airports we have. Nigeria just doesn't plan well for a lot of things. We already know the volume of people passing through. It's not that complicated. Also, with the recent trend of terrorism, you don't want to have big clusters of people in places like that. Those are soft targets!!! Why are Nigerian airport officials digging into peoples checked bags and underwear. In 2017!!! Maybe no NEPA to run the scanners... Use scanners instead and i'm sure the lines will reduce significantly. Nigeria is in deep sh!t. |
SHAKABOOM:One reason why our community should suppress the culture of bride price... Our men believe that women are commodities to be traded. And once you've paid bride price, she has become your property. The culture is beautiful but has been corrupted. There are some Nigerian families that make it symbolic, you still pay a "bride price" but it is not necessarily something of monetary value. |
