Mayeldah:Yes, i completely agree with your point now. The leadership is a complete failure and should be called out. That should be the drive and not the believe of conspiracy. Even in north, there are people that voice out their disappointment with Buhari. However, our politicians are averse to resignation no matter how bad the situation is. They will never resign. |
Mayeldah:In as much as people speculate about fulani conspiracy in our security forces, it is difficult to convince some of us. Look at the northern part of the country dominated by hausa/fulani, is the security situations there not worse? The kidnappings there cant be compared with down south. The same group of people, the hausa/fulani are being kidnaped in their hundreds. We insult Buhari that he is biased about insecurity to other tribes but how many times have we again insulted him about insecurity in his home state and even his senatorial zone? countless times right? so where is the conspiracy in the army exactly? The fulani army man abating kidnapping in Bayelsa has his own tribesman suffering the same fate in Zamfara, Katsina, Yobe, etc. It is not as if his people are protected any more than the people from another tribe. My opinion is that, we have a general security failure and if we must emphasize, it is worst in the region dominated by hausa/fulani. We are having it far better in the south here. |
Kingspin:This is one of the issues we have in Africa as a whole. Nobody is willing to provide credible information to back up allegations. If you accuse the army, that is no problem. It could be that some of their rank and file are complicit. Where I have an issue is this; the top military brass has noted the accusation and express willingness to investigate. How do you want them to do the investigation without adequate brief from the accuser? The investigation will require description of what the eye witness saw and can remember. All these emotional outburst we always have on issues will not help anyone. In abroad that we make so much reference to, their citizens are the most important part of crime fighting by volunteering information. Even if we are afraid to volunteer it to security agencies, we should not complain when we voice out somethings and they seek more information from us. |
Kingspin:I agree with you. So let me ask, how is the army going to clear its name in this particular instance without talking to the man who made the accusation? If the army must clear its name, then, the man must cooperate with them. No two ways about it |
Adfcb:What exactly is the blessing here? you mean the 200mil? So you are ready to lose your two hands and a leg for 200mil? Everyone with their choices anyway |
UyaiIncomparabl:Rich is relative. Davido cannot claim to be rich where Elon Musk is. To another person and under different circumstances, 500k can be considered rich |
MMWandali:Which warden? Even in highly protected prisons, inmates carry out numerous crimes. I think one of the most intelligent environment is the prison. Those criminals you see are quite brilliant and they have a whole lot of time to think, plan and carried out the unthinkable. Normally, someone like Kyari should not be in the same place with them. He put a lot of them there so he is automatically a high profile target and trust me, it is just a matter of time before something bad happens to him if he is still left there |
Bonesbreaker:Some of the hoodlums parading themselves selves as ESN/IPOB members in orlu have finally been caught by task force, killed and burnt to ashes. Do the people in the picture look like military to you? These are local vigilante doing their job to restore sanity. Leave the military out of it |
BigTableShaker:una don start with tribal bigotry. Remind me of accountant general's tribe again. I guess he is not hausa/fulani. why did Rochas refused to honor the terms of his administrative bail? Instead he chose to hole up in his house instead of going to clear his name. People like you are giving this rogues opportunity to always misbehave. |
Why did he dramatize his arrest? Instead of going to efcc office to submit himself |
paulolee:Who dash Barca ladies favorite let alone strong favorite against Lyon? The person no see well |
emorse:I think you can do a little more research on that. They have stated their reasons numerous times. Their work environment is not like the places you mentioned. Which of those services you mentioned go on sabbatical leave? there are other related stuffs like that not programmed on IPPIS. Again IPPIS is not the only reason for their strike, infact they started striking before IPPIS issue. Underfunding of the Universities and proliferation of universities while the existing ones are grossly underfunded. For me, ASUU has a genuine case, our public universities are nothing to write home about. It either the government adequately fund the universities or parents pay more fees. |
ictplotter:Please, what products or sectors does Dangote monopolize? He has cement-there are others producing cement too. If you wish to buy cement, you can buy other brands you wish apart from him. Sugar? BUA is there also, just like cement, you can access others in the market. Car assembly- You hardly hear about his car assembly venture. Innoson is what we hear. Dangote is not even a market leader here, Let alone monopoly. Nodles- Indomie even acquired his nodles lines if I can remember correctly. He couldn't do well in the market. Rice- There are a thousand and one rice factories doing well. Nothing like monopoly here. Tomatoes processing- is this his factory still functional? I know he is not even a market leader. Oil and gas- he is just entering the market. Some people acquired licences but didn't do anything before he started his refinery. Once he is done now, we will all cry monopoly forgetting some people collected licenses to go and sleep. We can go on and on. Yes, Dangote is a market leader in some sectors but he has not monopolize them. He has competitors in such sectors. |
Okay, sometimes it is not worth it making a huge case out of these situations. The man is even strong for his age. Not everyone will reach that age and still be blessed with such strength. But these old men too need to learn how to step away from power and enjoy their old age in peace |
I thought NCAN will hold fire and vawulence as this is a collabo. But no, they always find a way around it |
chatinent:Well, personally I tend to believe what the West said above personal opinions like yours here. The reason is that, they are highly placed more than you, they have workable intelligence and are majority of the time right. So you can never know more than they do. Base on what we have witness so far in Ukraine, the west is still on the right, no matter how we want to term their news as propaganda. Russia vs Ukraine was not suppose to go the way it is going now. With all the backing of the west, I expected Russia to have achieved her goal in Ukraine by now considering the hype we accustomed ourselves to about their military might. I pray for peace to reign Sha, war is not funny |
MadamVanessa:There is a popular saying that too much of everything is not good. People should learn moderation. |
Kastonkastroll:Not just weapons, emphasis on precision weapons |
inoki247:Kai, una go just open mouth very big for some unreasonable things to come up. Is a VC of a university a member of ASUU? Because he was once a lecturer doesn't mean he is an ASUU member as a V C. VCs are even ASUU enemies. Again what has someone who is to just announce collated results got to do with elections rigging? Take your anger to politicians who snatch ballot boxes, buy votes and thumb print ballots papers. Leave the innocent VCs who are just doing their statutory assignment to announce collated results by INEC alone |
flamingREED:What are you saying? Was it not Buhari, a Fulani man that ordered the contentious oil wells to be exclusively handed over to imo? Was that a war against ibo too? Your ibo could not defend themselves in the court successfully and you are here talking about war. Which nonsense war? |
georjay:The guy is actually a Benue guy |
This is not new, once he is out of power, you will hardly hear about him. Reuben Abati did more than this during Jonathan time and i am sure many people dont even know about him today |
Useless politicians, nothing is working in our universities, they have become glorified secondary schools due to lack of funds. Yet this man is talking nonsense. Politicians have blotted allowances, one of the highest paid in the word, yet the education sector is grounded. Some Nigerians who are not even familiar with the demands of the varsity unions will ignorantly be faulting the unions emotionally. I blame the docile students who cannot hold the government responsible for this shameful display |
fkj950ax:You are right, many Nigerians are lazy to read, even the headline is sensational compared with the body. I read through the two judgement and cannot see contradiction. The federal high court convicted the wife due to negligence base on abuse by victor, the son who is at large. The state court discharged the man base on shoddy case presentation by the prosecution. The judge did well by discharging him, BASED on the EVIDENCE before him. Nobody should blame him but the prosecution |
InoGetJoy:I don't think I spoke any rubbish here. I spoke base on the news posted here. A wrong understanding was portrayed and I corrected that base on the news. By the way, vanguard is an independent newspaper and not government owned paper. Again, innocent people must die in this kind of situation and no body is happy. People are dying like that in Ukraine now, in Iraq, Syria northern Nigeria etc is the same. It unfortunate but if the gun men are not there, people will not be caught in the mess |
mrvitalis:Kai, you read upside down. The JTF didn't set properties ablaze. Evil forest did with his gang during their reign of terror. Kindly modify your post to avoid more quotes |
sirblend:No, Christiano jnr too is surrogate |
sirblend:All from surrogacy. Infact the children do not know their mothers. The women also signed non disclosure agreement to never reveal themselves. This his the first time his girlfriend will give birth |
sirblend:Funny enough, this is the first time his girlfriend/wife will give birth |

Like I said in the beginning of this unnecessary conflict in Ukraine, lies and propaganda can never win you war.
