Bro please let's not talk about facts here. Our judicial system does not in any way rely on facts to prosecute politicians. If it does, with all the facts in the stable of EFCC what are they still waiting for to protect Sariki.
you may still be right about Nigerian situation. but the norm worldwide is that, the law deals with fact and not truth. the person whose truth is turned to facts and convicted is a criminal and those whose truth have not been turned to facts are not. that is simply how it works in law.

PDP accused him of not having certificate. I don't know what you are asking about forgery. your initial comment came from issues raised by pdp . but if you feel he forged certificate kindly file your suit at the nearest court of law. if I had feel the same, I would have done that.

yes, I have seen. Do you know your history? I'm not talking for talking sake. Ibori is a human rights activists. I have been close to him through a politician uncle. I know there's a motive for everything a criminal does, but if you're observant enough, you can see beyond facades and charades. Buhari rode of the cloak of integrity to deceive the gullible, I'm not one of those people that can be easily deceived.
why did he steal money for the masses if he has that good heart? think well may be you are already deceived

Some persons are just here spewing trash up and down.Sariki, OBJ & Tinubu are they more righteous than Ibori? Even the self acclaimed saint Buhari is morally corrupt.
you may be saying the truth but not the fact. law works with facts and not truth. in case of ibori the facts were proved in court and therefore he is a convict. the law will never look at ibori and the likes of obj, tinubu etc as same. if you accuse me of slapping you, you may be saying the truth but need facts to prove I slap you before a judge. e.g are there finger marks, who witnessed the slap etc. that is how law works .

It is crystal clear that some persons sense of reasoning has been badly tampered with. This is the only country where criminals, thieves, manipulators and all kinds of negative devices are celebrated. How in God's name can we continue celebrating someone that looted state treasury running into hundreds of millions of dollars!
I cant understand the level of moral decadence, heightened by the inept conception of the obvious by those celebrating this man called Ibori. This is the height of ignorance, displayed by Nigerians and it would keep ringing in the minds of those akin to such criminal act as a way of giving them a pat in the back to continue their mismanagement as some section of the populace will still celebrate them.
We pray that God should come and rescue us from all these set of people but what are we doing to discourage them from continuing in this destructive path? It is time for us to stand on our feet and say #IT IS ENOUGH!!!
thumbs up bro. these are the same people who will put a tyre around a maggi thief neck and burn him to ashes. this is what African China sang about. we are in serious trouble in this country.

this is no argument. why don't you simply Google your constitution and see the difference between the two cases. we are talking about law here and not what you think or feel, OK? do you think obj and pmb opponents kept quiet on their supposed convictions? trivial issues of pmb certificate were raised and none about a major issue of conviction and you think PDP were foolish to do that? we should not be so ignorant about our laws as this is computer age and not stone age.

Am not against him to contest in 2019, but I think at this time he needs to sit down, strategise, recompose and restructure his political life.

Though he was once a political gladiator, but the politics of Nigeria today has changed, considering the amount of years he has used outside the shore of the country.

Additionally, he has being reading news about Nigerian politics, but his physical presence have been absent all this while.

Lastly, yes he can contest in 2019, after all, the likes of OBJ was once an ex-convict before becoming the president.
try to read the constitution and electoral laws relating to conviction before commenting. the cases of obj and buhari with ibori are not the same.

A poor girl has just been robbed of admission in a very good school after scoring very high marks and people are here celebrating a man that helped smuggle names in to substitute her name.
Shameful!
I read in another thread where the prof broke down admission categories such as catchment area, merit & ELDS. perhaps such people you are talking about are within other categories apart from merit. the prof clearly said her case falls under merit which means anything short of the cut off is not acceptable. just saying

that's if only these politicians are indeed producing these rice in Nigeria because I don't trust Nigerian politicians at all, they can do anything to win re-election angry

How are they producing rice when Fulani herdsmen can't allow local farmers to go to their farms in peace, howhuh

Rice is cultivated in remote villages, and these remote villages are the main target of Fulani herdsmen, and these governors and the FG aren't doing much to protect these vulnerable farmers, so all these their rice production is a hoax, take it or leave it, you won't see all these rice after 2019, bookmark this page angry
yes herdsmen are constituting a nuisance but that does not mean serious farming is not going on. I come from a state where farming is the major income. and believe me many cultivated and are harvesting their rice peacefully. BTW this is a collaboration between two state governments, so you can imagine how safe the farm will be. more over the same farm will most likely be located in fadama area or govt river basin and as such will be well secured.

my brother/sister, I am not here to defend any state governor o, I am a Nigerian first before any other tribe....I am referring to all Nigerian state governors....its so shameful, they are deceiving us the masses with all these nonsense rice.

What Nigerians need are:

1. Employment opportunities
2. Security
3. Steady electricity
4. Enabling policies and grants to fuel nationwide industrialization and entrepreneurship

With the four aforementioned things in place, Nigeria will become so great with time, but sadly our politicians are focusing on temporary projects that will distract Nigerians and confuse us into voting for them come 2019, its really sad.

All the state governors are guilty and the same angry
the two state govts are already doing the no.1 on your list. think carefully and you will figure it out

Na only rice Nigerians will eat till 2019, all governors are now claiming they produce rice, no plans to create massive jobs for the geometrically increasing unemployed youth graduates, no clear plan by Nigerian state governors to start generating/distributing steady electricity to Nigerians, no clear plans to end increasing insecurity, robbery, etc in Nigeria, its now about Anambra rice, Lagos rice, Kogi rice, Nasarawa rice, Abia rice, Ebonyi rice, too bad for our Nigerian politicians/leaders, we lack vision as a nation cry
you can do better by criticizing constructively. you are talking about about employment but wrongly linked it here. do you think the rice planted itself, harvested itself and milled itself to the market? if you go through the Chain, you will see that many people have been employed. so for this, I commend the kebbi state and Lagos state governments. we need more of this for economic growth.

COLLECT WHAT NA?

Anybody asking them to collect the money is very ignorant or hypocritical and isn't even Patriotic.

The government should learn to respect their hero's. This attitude is what makes many people to not want to suffer for the country because government will not remember you ESPECIALLY If you are NOT from the north.

Check out the names of all the players and see if anyone was from the north.

Now, what do you think would have been the story if you found that this team consists of Zainabs, Asisats, Zahras, and fatimans or Aishas?

They should go to the streets.

Remember, it might be your turn tomorrow and they'd refuse to any you. Only then will you understand what is actually happening in Nigeria
is not everything you will bring tribal coloration to. the issue of bonuses has been lingering from one govt or better put NFA administration to another. amodu and keshi were not fully paid till they died. the failure is on NFA who is independent of govt. players bonuses are ideally suppose to be paid by nfa or the fa of a country and is never the priority of any govt. Countries FAs receive subventions from FIFA and their continental associations to manage all these. the ideal situation is the govt will host the victors and announce extra rewards for them. it could be cash or land and not players bonuses which nfa should have paid using money generated from sponsorship deals, CAF and FIFA. but the NFA is never striving to achieve financial stability through sponsorship deals. even the monies collected from FIFA are grossly mismanaged and govt cannot probe because of the looming big hammer from FIFA. Govt therefore takes total control of financial sponsorship of football even to little things like match bonuses and camping allowances. that is why other sports are dwarfed in the country cos the funds to develop them are used to make up NFA deficiency. bottom line, NFA must be more creative financially to save the country from numerous embarrassments they are causing .

Don't feel like a superstar trying to sound off. NO POOR MAN, I repeat, NO POOR MAN participates in MMM. The only motive for participants is greed and the lure of quick money and not poverty please.

Poor people do not even have the money to eat, not to talk of putting it in a scheme and waiting 30 days for 30% return on investment. No way. A poor man would rather use the little money he can raise to buy/sell fast moving goods, so that he can raise a little money to at least feed him/herself everyday.

Do you also realize that it can be roughly put that N200,000 is the average amount invested per person in the scheme. Where poor man wan see that kind money. Think of all those women selling okra, tomatoes and pepper in the market, think of all those guys hawking their wares in wheelbarrows. Think of all those hawkers you see on the streets and try to convince yourself that they are 'Providing Help' and 'Getting Help' and then reread what you wrote up there that MMM has helped the poor. It is a scheme for the greedy, by the greedy and sustained by greed...

Open an account, don't participate yet, be in the system...it's open even for spies. Then reveal your findings and be happy for your brethren that have been lifted.
even if you support mmm, try to figure out how to draw your parallels. conventional banking system if does not in anyway functions as mmm. if access fold today, am going to recoup my savings because they have a minimum capital base with CBN. then again? the govt through AMCON will take over the stressed bank, or a merger will be worked out. there will still be people to be held responsible. so the CURRENT system does not allow depositors money to just disappear. mind you, am not saying don't go and do your mmm, it's your money your choice but fact is that, it is still a ponzi scheme not sustainable, just like many before it.

And you compare what fc ifeanyi uba used- does ifeanyi uba sound like fg?

Why are people soo hypocritical?

And because they didnt seem like they were complaining, does it mean it was okay to transport them in such an antiquated truck?

You people defending those pictures and condemning what is happening now need to check yoir conscience and tell yourselves some hard truths.

What's wrong is wrong. What they did then was wrong. What is being done to them right now is also wrong.
most people are not objective in their submissions. first of all, where is the supposedly independent nfa? what have they done to raise money independent of govt so as to add to FIFA and caf subventions they been collecting? Cameronian FA did not owe the players a single allowance. our girls allowances were not paid from camping till the end of the tournament. believe u me, sane federations even here in Africa have sponsorship deals where they raise money in addition to FIFA and caf money for players bonuses. but our FA just depend on govt and some Japanese surgeon for windfall. the blame is totally on the NFA who are not innovative enough
SportsRe: The Afghan Boy Wearing Lionel Messi's Jersey Made Of Nylon Finally Meets Messi by zikter(m): 7:28pm On Dec 14, 2016
RentALodge:
Touching!

Say what you want, but this man here is the greatest footballer ever!

Of Maradona, it is often said: 'He won the World Cup single-handedly,' and: 'He made Napoli Italy's finest side all on his own'. Away from the comfort zone of Barcelona Messi has never reached the same heights, goes the argument.

But, aside from underplaying the other strengths of Maradona's Napoli and the quality of that Argentina side in 1986, such a theory also brushes over the way Messi has sustained Barcelona far more than Barcelona has sustained him.

We thought Pep Guardiola was the secret to the club's incredible success when they won the treble in 2009 in the coach's first year in the job. But the year before last Barcelona completed the same feat, also with the FIFA Club World Cup cherry on the top. Guardiola had gone but it didn't matter because Messi remained.

In that incredible first season at Barcelona commentators could have been forgiven for believing Messi might not be the same without Samuel Eto'o and Thierry Henry alongside him.

But the following season he reached similar heights with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Pedro for company.

Zlatan, who at times never seemed to be too enamored by his diminutive team-mate, nevertheless has voted Messi the world's best player every year since 2009.

In 2011 David Villa became his new strike partner. Alexis Sanchez, Neymar and Luis Suarez have followed. The world changes, but it keeps orbiting around the same sun. Messi shines brightest every season.

We wondered if his level might drop when he no longer had Xavi playing behind him. But at times this season and last, Messi has morphed into his old midfield team-mate. Dropping deeper to play the passes that Xavi once played. All that's left is for him to get on the end of his own assists – it wouldn't be the first time he had bent the laws of physics.

The point is that, far from being in a Camp Nou comfort zone these last seven years, Messi has been at one of the most demanding clubs in the world and he has led them to a level of greatness that puts them at the summit of all-time top teams and leaves us in little doubt that he is the all-time great individual.

He never depended on Guardiola and Xavi just as now he doesn't depend on forward colleagues Luis Suarez and Neymar.

And on to all this excellence we can add the apparent ability to take such success in his stride that Galeano was on about.

Many good players have grasped at greatness and many great players have held on to it for a short time. Messi has it permanently under his arm and most of the time he forgets its even there.

All hail to King Leo!
you people should not come and derail this beautiful thread with the greatest player bla bla. create a thread for that somewhere. this is about a touching story and I did not see where anyone asked about the greatest player here. thumb up messi for your gesture to the young boy
