The Bible is correctly interpreted when it is set against the background of God’s love for man. The distinction must be made between revenge or vengeance that obtains in interpersonal relationships and instances of personal attacks that warrants the need to defend oneself. In any event, Baba Adeboye has always said that when he speaks from The Pulpit on such matters he is not addressing www but his children in the faith. How that concerns folks who are not his children calls for some questions. Society may as well not take down marauding armed robbers!

So you disregard the direct commandments - Matthew 5 vs 38 - 48 & Luke 6 vs 27 - 36 - given by God Himself in Jesus Christ(the one who you claim to belong) to you warning you against defending yourself when attacked by your enemies simply on basis that you perceive a theme of sorts in your Bible?

It simply cannot be the case that God created man to do nothing in the face of a machete aimed at his neck when he can defend himself. It doesn’t add up!

It cannot be otherwise. Elisha did exactly that when soldiers were sent to arrest him unjustifiably. God will do that at the end of all things when hell will receive Satan and his ilk into everlasting torment. To say otherwise is inconsistent with the theme of the Bible which is the love of God for man!

In her bid to get well economically Ghana will have to swallow bitter economic pills courtesy IMF conditionalities. It will tell on Ghanaians who will scapegoat foreign Nationals as they struggle to eke out a living. Nigerians who ran to Ghana and away from the Nigerian harsh economic weather had better be on their way back home before they become victims of transferred aggression. A word is enough for the wise.

He took these pictures. The rays around her were too bright for a clear picture. She moved up to the Shrine dedicated to her and then was taken up. It was amazing, the entire aura around the parish, that evening. She didn’t say anything to anyone. But I think she came to assure of God’s presence with us.

Even the rays of light on the premises showed there was something happening. May the prayers of our Blessed Mother help our country Nigeria. Amen.''

Makes no difference. It is an open secret that is what they do. Ajumogobia personally signed the letter emanating from him while Olanipekun had Associate Lawyers signing the response from Wole Olanipekun & Co. That speaks volumes. Wole Olanipekun SAN is not liked by the generality of The Nigerian Bar for the reason of such tendencies.
