... in the present time ... . Meanwhile, no laches can be imputed to the State. |
Wow! Pummelling! That Babangida statement. |
This is not fair! Treating terrorists with kid gloves with the result that a woman became widowed and children fatherless. Obasanjo raised the red flag but the Fulani President we are saddled with wouldn’t listen. This officer was sacrificed on the altar of clannish President Buhari’s incompetence. |
Wisest choice in the interim and all of the circumstances. |
Unfortunately the Nigerian Police taking a cue from the body language of The Fulani President we are saddled with will deny the attackers are not Fulani. The police having prejudged the result of the investigation cannot be trusted to be unbiased. Most unfortunate! |
What an ODSG! You handed the policing of your space to strangers in all of the circumstances!! Unbelievable!!! What a way to handle security threats!!!Best to push for State policing while in the interim ensure community policing is in place. |
What a Legislator! Very knowledgeable and well exposed!! |
thesicilian:Exactly! That’s the trick to play the victim card i.e. taqqiya under the cover of which they seize control of power. The proper response is to proscribe them for being a terrorist group (Iran backs them), prosecute and jail them as appropriate. Should they take up arms the response of the State must be swift, firm and decisive. Obasanjo and Jonathan failed to handle BH in that manner until the matter boiled over. I remember one prominent SW Lawyer Lateef Adegbite who tongue-in-cheek spoke in defence of BH saying they were not terrorists in the hope of gaining a religious advantage. It was hoped that BH would advance Jihad until Mosques also became targets for attacks. Now we know better! |
Wizklynd23:The Shiite know what they are about. The Nigerian State must deal appropriately. |
The Shiites are acting a script and most Nigerians will appear to be ill informed about who the Shiites are. It can be read up but Nigerians don’t have a reading culture! |
RUGA reloaded. Absolutely condemnable. What are SW Traditional Rulers, Governors and Political leaders doing about this? State police is needed now! |
anonimi:Not necessarily. The point is that with God nothing shall be impossible! |
anonimi:N100-150 billion! |
HopeAtHand:Here in Nigeria Umar Abdulmutallab‘S Fulani West Africa Colleagues-In-Terrorism are threatening the people and government emboldened by the seemingly conniving silence of the Federal Government! |
ednut1:Suggests deliberately shoddy prosecution of the matter to ensure the least sentence possible. Malice afore thought and premeditated intent was clearly discernible. She initially used a scissors wounding him and later escalated the thrust by deploying a kitchen knife. It is beyond husband and wife fighting! |
Arbitrary- maybe not. Insensitive- yes! With due respect to the former HAG the issue is not about whether Gov. Ajimobi had the Constitutional right to grant clemency. It is about the insensitivity of the decision. Anyone who can read and is not dumb knows it was all about giving her the softest landing possible in all the circumstances given her family influence set against the background of the public outcry concerning her criminal conduct. What more? The HAG was her lawyer before he became HAG! The deceased husband was deceitful in love but that won’t justify his slaying. It is important for all men to constantly bear in mind what William Shakespeare said - “hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” . |
. |
Having attacked and killed others whose farmlands they also destroy MACBAN should expect the farmers and landowners to respond as appropriate in the face of FG body language in the matter. |
Home truth to a people not truthful to themselves! |
Good idea! They will have free hand to operate and will be beyond discipline where they err in a manner conscienceless!! FF didn’t think this one through properly. |
Interesting. How come MURIC now speaks for the Fulani when the matter at stake is not religious but ethnic? Is MURIC a Fulani organisation and or mouthpiece. Are the Fulani Muslim? Are there not Fulani who are not Muslim? MURIC has this out of joint. |
Badeh guys! Is the word “Bad” coined from the name Badeh!! #thiefalexbadeh |
mvem:Thanks to you. My learning curve is the better for it! |
That is not a soldier but a beast in Army Uniform.Soldiers are gentlemen who treat civilians in a manner civil. His ilk make Nigerians wonder why the NA is not done with BH if they are that good at pummelling others. The other day the COAS said NA soldiers have become notorious for fleeing the battle front. Shameful! |

KngGezy:Travel abroad! Her parents were both abroad when they should be at the PTA. But for God she is certain to end up worse abroad. I hope the parents change for the better and in good time. It is obvious the parents need self-examination. We all do! |
Reprimand your ward going forward. I know that school. Has on offer the best you want for a child in school. By the way, who is Niran Malaolu? The answer should explain the conduct of his ward as well as his own attitude in all of these! Not far from asking who is Kemi Olunloyo and finding in her father the answer to the question! |
superamoled:Separating the boys from the men. Everywhere exclusive is fenced. That’s the bouncer! |
Unik3030:The discerning knows who as between you and I is the fool here. I won’t join you in the gutter whose language you speak! |
rayobaba:Typical of the needlessly sentimental who runs mental when the secretariat gives way under the wobbly dance steps of one who never was focussed on anything productive in life! You miss the point entirely. Anyone who does not wish to be put up to public scrutiny shouldn’t stand for elective office. Address the points raised by me objectively. You’ll be taken seriously when you post a prayer here that your life come under the influence of one in the mould of Ademola Adeleke! You don’t get the seriousness of this matter. Osun State cannot afford another four years of misgovernance after the Aregbesola erratic years else it goes burst finally. You watch the trajectory of a life before same is put out as a recipient of power to set policy and govern others. Ademola Adeleke was not it. I’m no partisan politician but am passionate about good governance anywhere and everywhere. |
