Nobody is disputing that fact but we need to fix up the loopholes that these leeching countries are feasting on.
That is part of what the border closure is about.

CaptainMeks:
Exactly! Formerly the export figures to Ghana stood at about 400 billion or so and now it has more than doubled which shows that data is now more precise and loop holes for smuggling are now plugged. Thus Ghana no longer has anywhere to follow now when it comes to smuggling our goods through the borders now to their country.

We dey see our money now.
Nigeria, not Africa- should be the centre of our foreign policy!

beresponsible:
Nonsense statistics.
When land borders were open we were not their largest trading partner. Now after una close land borders they become this. Where are they passing? By air?
The point is that trade with Ghana is now better formalised now that smuggling is drastically reduced and they must pass goods through the ports where statistics are easily accessed. It reveals that they have been feeding fat off Nigeria via State tolerated smuggling

The words of a true leader!!!

It doesn't matter how many times you fall, never give up, get up and keep moving!!!
Better to stop moving in the wrong direction and move in the direction that leads to someplace meaningful! Not a few who value integrity and a good name will avoid being seen in a picture with him!

Good morning, facing reality is sometimes good.
Humility served in winter is the worst meal a human can eat.
Nature brought him down his knees, fake friends have deserted, real friends who where never allowed to come closer are now his ears, they are now whispering to him like gods of the woods.

Those who shouted Oshoko don’t listen to them, Oshoko you can do it, they are irrelevant, ingrates and opportunist have all absconded, they have realigned before he turned back, they will be a stop valve in his way, and he won’t flow with pressure.

Let them forgive him.

When last did he eat Amala on the streets of Ekiti? Now is the right time to do those things, but he is no where to be found.
He did not eat Amala on the streets or cut Ponmo in the market place out of love for the people else that would have continued after he ceased being Governor! Known it is to the discerning that it was all gimmickry designed to lead the people by the nose - and, boy, did he! Don’t you get it still!!

So long as you do not know who you are responsible to your apologies will be to the wrong audience when you finally come round to see how irresponsible you were!
The desperation to have something to share is so heightened he made a disaster of a job concealing it when he said -“there is nothing to share in failure”. When will the focus be on service and not sharing!

He never did rather he stayed alive and came back to deep.throat the same fulani's bulala who wasted 3millionsof his kinsmrnev
He did. The right to self-determination is inalienable and not necessarily violent. It is in fact best sought rationally with dialogue as its visible tool of manifestation until the aim is achieved. It is not for all time that you can keep incompatibles together! Like will only attract like! Sooner than later the false centre will give way and things fall apart and the song will be - “there was a country”! Usuman dan Fodio it was who said - “Conscience is an open wound only truth can heal it.” Until NIGERIA is restructured along the line of the structure of her people groups the agitations for self determination are not likely to cease.

Interesting to know that is the conclusion you draw. Instructive also it is to know that as a man thinks so is he. Your perception is the prism from which your world view and conclusions are formed.

Zik, Ojukwu and Kanu ALL ran from the warfront.
Discretion is the better part of valour. You must stay alive to fight another day. Every battle plan worth calling one usually would have a retreat strategy. No one sane walks into a room without ensuring it has a door in place to exit.

For a mother to abandon a child, it can be very painful. She's an all weather pillar to depend on emotional and her dedication to you is total. She'll happily take a bullet for you.

For instance, if it was the dad that abandoned him, his mum would not dump him with relations to look after.

Well, just take it as it is and move on Poo like this happens. It isn't your fault. (Read Isaiah 49:15, 1 Timothy 5:8
From the narrative straight from the horse’s mouth the father didn’t dump him! He visited “quite often and took them home during festivities”. The Dad did his duty!

Good point but who is going to do the checks? Where are the records to check. The rich will begin to suffer in the hands of the poor. That's why in developed countries provide for the less privileged so that they don't jump on them like this.
Your point is well taken. However, in Nigeria there is Background Check International. Just Google and you will be linked with the outfit. All they do is check out the background of your staff.

About time we take our personal security more seriously by doing initial and regular background checks on our domestic staff who we must ensure are employed using world class employment agencies! Just imagine how a world class Maersk MD lost his wife cheaply to indiscretion of the worst sort!

Lagos state is still benefitting from his legacies till today........ Mass affordable housing schemes, he's designed Lagos metro line back then went to took loan but Buhari cancel the loan and still paid a penalty that is 2/3 of the supposed interest of the loan.

Baba jakande is still happily retired in his ilupeju bungalow........ With a normal retired civil servant life, I wonder if he's entitled to what Tinubu and fasholas are entitled to or he refused to collect I don't understand.
Nigerians have a poor sense of history and Nigerian Historians do so little to change that! For doing so irresponsibly and without an apology till date Buhari has no business presiding over our affairs as President!
