Webmasters / Re: Who Enlighten Me The Difference Between (com.ng) And (ng) by BOLAJIAJANI(m): 7:41am On Jun 09, 2018 |
Well just like it has been mentioned above, .ng is a Nigerian country code Top Level Domain(ccTLD) managed by NIRA. Implication is, it is suitable for businesses(or stuffs) created for the Nigerian market(or people). On the other hand, .com.ng is a country code Second Level Domain(ccSLD) also managed by NIRA, it is also suitable for the Nigerian market. Basically, people consider .ng domains and its other subs(e.g .org.ng, .com.ng) to have more authority for stuffs relating to Nigeria especially as far as search engines are concerned. However, some people believe even .ng has more authority than the second level-domain(e.g. .com.ng) but as far as I know that's not true. But I would take a .ng over .com.ng and you should probably do that as well except if cost is an issue. Although, it is important to note that while .ng is more desirable for many obvious reasons like ease of remembrance, small length and all, .com.ng is more specific for commercial businesses and that is the major reason ccSLDs are created. .com.ng for commercial businesses, .org.ng for Non-profit organizations, edu.ng for educational institutions and what have you. 1 Like |
Programming / Re: What Are The Requirements To Study Programming Abroad by BOLAJIAJANI(m): 9:53am On May 01, 2018 |
I'm not going to advise you here since you probably have your mind made up on how you want to go about learning. Well, it's pretty straightforward since you want to go through the school route. What you need is to major in Computer Science. So search for a university of your choice abroad and check their admission requirements, tuition fees and related costs and you are good. However, it's not much about where you study, be it school(here or abroad) or learning on your terms like reading books, tutorial videos, online courses and what have you but more of your willingness to learn and opening of your mind. |
Programming / Re: Where Can I Learn Programming In Ibadan? by BOLAJIAJANI(m): 9:17am On Jul 30, 2017 |
Just like the poster above me said, you only need internet to learn programming! At least that was all I needed to start with years ago as a teen, and I've come to the realization that until you dare to start on your own, you probably won't be able to learn very well. |

Knowing how to use Dreamweaver does not necessary mean one can do the job. Your description is funny, to say the least. 1 Like |

Romance / Re: A Very Important Question by BOLAJIAJANI(m): 4:31pm On Aug 21, 2015 |
prettytasha:Apparently both men are holding hoes. But looking at the picture clearly, the farmer looking boy is actually holding a hoe while the man without a face appears to be holding a hoe. However, since the definition of a hoe in that sense is broad, and appearance can be deceiving, we can't really say the first man is holding a hoe. Moreover, there are 101 arguments to prove that the female subject is not a hoe. Hence, the second man from the left is the man holding a hoe. |

Webmasters / Re: Official Email Address Without Website by BOLAJIAJANI(m): 6:22pm On Jul 02, 2015 |
The best way to do it is to get a domain name with a cheap web host, probably in the 3k range. However, the one that has support for custom email accounts. And your problem is solved. Of course you don't need a website to have a domain name. |

Coming here means you don't trust her, that's not abnormal anyway. The thing is, if you think something is wrong, 80% of the time it is wrong. And if you're someone with a strong intuition like mine, 95% of the time it is wrong. |
Romance / Re: Help by BOLAJIAJANI(m): 6:54pm On Apr 05, 2015 |
To stop something, your will to stop must be higher than that of the opposite. So basically, look at the advantages and the disadvantages, weigh both of them together. I'm sure the disadvantages would outweigh the advantages. So any time you get the urge to do any of the two, just try to visualize the disadvantages, I'm sure that would help. It's also good if you can get busy with other things and avoid things that lead you to doing those stuffs till you are totally in control of yourself. However, I will say this; if you're going to engage in something, engage in it squarely. Don't stay in the kitchen if you can't stand the heat. Having that kind of mindset does nothing but destroys one psychologically. And you've almost done yours in already. Meanwhile, prayer works. If we don't want something in our life we pray against it. But the way people throw deliverance, prayer etc around here is somehow. Prayer and all works with FAITH, and the truth is, a lot of people don't have faith. So what are we talking about? You need self-discipline, lots of it. |
Family / Re: Feelings; A Must Read!!!!! by BOLAJIAJANI(m): 12:37pm On Mar 15, 2015 |
I know this is kind of old. But I feel like I should add something. As suggested above, I think at some point in our lives we all experience something along what you stated above. Although the stuffs some of us feel are just life's pressures, and whatever they are, we all respond to them differently. However, I think we don't really need people to reassure us that everything is ok. And yes I strongly believe that everyone needs someone, but before that comes into the picture, we have to be ok with ourselves. Think about it - what if that someone becomes unavailable, will you go back to nursing those unhealthy feelings? Truth is, people will always be blind to our emotions. And even sometimes when we try to tell them, they would believe it's nothing. We just have to learn to see LIFE as what it is, LIFE. |
Religion / Re: How Do You Love God But Hate Your Neighbours? by BOLAJIAJANI(m): 3:29am On Mar 04, 2015 |
You wrote exactly what's on my mind, almost no one ever did that. I'd thought of writing something along this line in the past, but religion is a topic I always avoid to discuss because of its tendency to get nasty. Perhaps, I'm too sensitive to others' emotions. Am I a believer? Yes, I'm. Bookmarked your blog, btw. 2 Likes |

Romance / Re: Reasons Why Responsible Guys May Avoid Toasting You by BOLAJIAJANI(m): 11:07am On Feb 13, 2015 |
Ollyfad:Nope, I don't think it's like that. Most of you don't give us something to work with. I try every time I chat to give a lot of information as possible, avoid using the normal boring lines. And what do I get? Someone not trying at all even though they initiated the chat. You ladies have to realize that, if I don't know you too well, I can't just spin words and convo out of thin air without the other person's effort. But you are right about some people though. |

@Kowema your story is very plausible. The man is shameless, and has no self-control. He needs to fix himself psychologically. Meanwhile, he crossed his legs not 'cause of the fluid dropping, but because it was going to wet his jeans and people would notice. 1 Like 1 Share |

However, I'm still in schedule. Although I don't think I'm going to have a free slot for the art in 2015(except I want to become Jack the dull boy). But I'm still actively working on my interests every single day. |

Religion / Re: Nigerians And The Hypocrotical Love Of Quoting Bible Scriptures. by BOLAJIAJANI(m): 10:31am On Dec 03, 2014 |
I see this trend on Nairaland quite often and when people are arguing offline. A long while ago I was reading a thread which later turned out to a feminism brouhaha. The females there were replying intelligently without making reference to the scriptures. On the other hand, when the guys on that thread couldn't reply the same way anymore, they resorted into quoting the scriptures(something I've always noticed in people that lack concrete points outside the scriptures) in all of their points. To say I was ashamed(for them) is an understatement. Without the scriptures a lot of us would be lost, but I find quoting the scriptures in every of your point especially when the argument isn't overly religious appalling. It basically shows lack of intelligence, lack of full understanding of the discussion at hand, and perhaps hypocrisy. 1 Like |
