Whatever your name is, is very clear that you are either a fake or you are paid to post false information about Owerri and Imo state. All your pictures are fake, and I could easily tell a hidden agenda in your post. If you are a photographer, then you must be a quack.

What will profit you to blackmail imo state. How could you claim your pictures are valid pictures of owerri? Where are the popular roads, streets, and structures in owerri if you really want us to believe you. I'm sure you are just an agent of the opposition.

Own your claimed picture of All Seasons, that is where you exposed yourself. Here are clean and clear pictures of All Seasons hotel.

Politics / Re: Arewa Youths Oppose Elders 2015 Presidency Move by lynton(m): 10:19am On Dec 11, 2012

Politics / Re: Should Buhari Contest For Presidency Again In 2015? by lynton(m): 11:50pm On Dec 04, 2012
Nashville: In a opinion he should not. Nigerians have rejected him three times already and I do not think they will accept him a fourth time. As someone said earlier, he already has a bad image especially in the South and he has done little to change it. People just see him as an Islamist and I cant see the justification.

If he truely means well, he should find a credible person within his party or another party to support - someone more electable than him and who carries his vision. Presidency is not about personal ambition, it is about serving the people and if they have rejected you, then you need to accept it and move on.

I also wouldn't vote for him if he contested. Although he says he will fight corruption, I do not think he has a great understanding of 21st century issues. I personally will not support anyone with a military background as I think we have had enough of them. And we have had enough of GEJ too. Let's see

@Nashville.
Are you the Nigerians that rejected him? And who told you that Gen. Buhari has Ω̶̣̣̥̇̊oτ̣̣̥ supporter i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ the South? You absolutely wrong on that. You are only living i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ A̶̲̥̅ world of assumption. I'm from the South-East and I'm A̶̲̥̅ big supporter of Gen. Buhari. Aren't you tired of PDP? Gen. Buhari Ȋ̝̊̅§ our only option for now and we all must put sentiments aside and support him. He will surely deliver.
Travel / Re: Common Misconception Of America By Nigerians by lynton(m): 12:41pm On Dec 04, 2012
Ugosample: Who are you telling this cock and bull story? So the people in Nigeria arent enough to develop Nigeria? America is not heaven, you work for everything you get which is good because a country is built with hardwork, not llaziness like many youths in Nigeria exhibit. Life is all about choices, if you appreciate hard work, them amerrica is the right place for you, but if you appreciate mediocrity, connections, etc, then Nigeria is a perfect place for you!

Whoever is saying that Nigerian youths are lazy is simply A compound and clinical fool. A country where the youths are solely on their without any cover from government will definitely make them idle. With millions of youths turning out from school on yearly basis without any corresponding plan on ground by the government will not help Nigerian youths to reach their potentials in life. Is time we speak out for our right.

Kai. Imagine Pakistan to train our soldiers. I don't blame you people. I blame our military heads for accepting such an insult. To be frank, what Ȋ̝̊̅§ it i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ Pakistan will they teach our soldiers. I hope Ȋ̝̊̅§ Ω̶̣̣̥̇̊oτ̣̣̥ boko haramism and terrorism they sent them to go and learn. Why Ω̶̣̣̥̇̊oτ̣̣̥ go to A̶̲̥̅ better place to learn rather than Pakistan ni? Countries like USA, UK, Russia, Israel, China, and Germany. Nonsense.

This is a good move and I pray they work it out to perfection. Definitely Nigeria is heading for better days and PDP should start parking. From my opinion I believe Gen. Buhari and Gov. Fashola should fly the ticket. This is because judging from the amount of votes that Gen. Buhari was able to gather alone during the 2011 election, I'm very sure if he can combine with Gov. Fashola as a team, then PDP should start parking their loads from Aso Rock. Change for Nigeria is long over due. I am an Igbo man and I fully support change for my country. Is time we put sentiments aside and face reality for the sake of young ones and generations to come.

Politics / Re: Who Is Capable Of Leading Nigeria Now?: Your Opinion by lynton(m): 5:29pm On Nov 05, 2012
Diogo1: I am at loss. I weep for this great nation. I have been an observer on many threads in Nairaland and other blogs. All I see is tribalism disaffection, conspiracy theories and a whole bunch of unhappy citizens.

Fortunately for me, I went to a Federal Government College 26 years ago. I have seen that as young or growing teens we were more detribalized than what is obtainable presently. We saw ourselves as brothers. Fortunately/unfortunately (depending on your view) most of my friends look at or judge persons from other tribes based sorely on their personal conduct and utterances.

That said, Nigeria is bedeviled with a lot of ills, corruption, Boko Haram, ethnic killings, murders, tribalism, general insecurity, power tussles, phcn wahala (although improving) high unemployment, oil bunkering, just name it. The list is endless.

I was in banking for 11 years, most of my colleagues looked at it as an opportunity to get rich quick. If those at the top were looting, they could as well help themselves at the branch level. I thought that was all. I now have a little office and some of my employees look at my office as their own (opportunity to get a slice of their) national cake. Are we all like this and we believe corruption will stop?

We all agree that what we need is good and purposeful leadership. Do you know any Nigerian (both within or outside) that can truely lead us out of our current predicaments? What qualities has he/she to do that? Do you believe he/she will not transform only his geo-political zone and appoint his/her cronies to exalted offices?

Can we truely get a leader who is not corrupt or one who will willing want to be initiated into corruption? Should it be Oshimole, Okorocha, Fashola, David Mark, or even a woman like the finance or petroleum ministers? Who can do the magic?

I really need your nominations, opinions, thoughts and reasons for your suggestions. Thank you.

I quite sure Gen. Buhari is the man that can have the moral standing to turning things around. Looking at the level of corruption and abuse of office by current group of leaders, we need someone that is not currently in government to lead. Is high time we put sentiment apart and think straight. I'm an igbo young man but I so much believe in Gen. Buhari. I'm sure he will deliver and correct so much ills already existing in our society today. All the others you mentioned I don't think they will put up what we need now in Nigeria. For Gov. Rochas, we are still have to study him more.

Romance / Re: Being With A Man As He Builds Himself Up From Scratch by lynton(m): 2:18pm On Nov 05, 2012
True2myself24: Okay so I will try to make this as simple and short as I possibly can. I’ve been in a relationship with this wonderful man for about nine months now. He’s Nigerian and he’s 26 and I’m Ghanaian and I’m 22.

Well, I met him through a friend one day at church; we talked and exchanged numbers and having been talking ever since.

Now in order to understand my situation I’ll tell you a bit about him, he has a BSc degree in engineering from Asia and is currently working on getting his Master’s in computer science.

However, when I first met him he was living in a motel and working at a restaurant because as you know, foreign degrees can only take you so far in America, and he is supporting himself on his own. So in spite of that obstacle he worked hard, and saved some money to move into an apartment and has just started his Master’s degree program.

When I first met him, I won’t lie, I didn’t want to commit to the relationship or get too serious because I kept thinking about the fact that he wasn’t yet settled and it would be very hard bringing him into my community but I gave it a chance because I tend to be friends with people that others probably won’t notice or that are different in some way.

So I got to know him and he’s the most patient, calmest, and loving man I’ve ever met. He’s not perfect but he is who he is and I love him for it. We’ve both been talking about making our relationship long term, like working towards marriage when we’re done with our Master’s. But it may take him a bit longer to get settled down because he is depending on himself to start his life, whereas, I’m blessed to have my parent’s umbrella of security over my head.

Plus I’ve lived in the US all my life so I have easier access to certain job opportunities whereas he’s an immigrant. I’ve asked people for advice and they say that I should wait until he builds himself up before committing to him in a serious relationship, but I think that isn’t fair.

I know being with a man as he builds himself up from scratch isn’t an easy thing, but I love him enough to try. Honestly, I wish I could bring him home and introduce him to friends and family but right now isn’t the right time because if you know how African parents are, what am I going to tell my parents, “well he doesn’t have a real job or a car yet, but he has a degree and is working towards it.” You know they won’t be accepting of that.

They would want to see the finished product. But I believe that when you watch someone start from scratch and grow into their potential, you’re relationship will be much more fulfilling as you look back at where you guys started.

So I want to know, in this situation should I commit to him or let him go and focus on guys that are already ready to settle or almost ready. I do love my boyfriend; don’t get me wrong. When it’s just us in our own little world nothing matters and I don’t care about the fact that he doesn’t have much because I know that he’s working towards it, but it’s when I bring him into my world that I’m reminded of our differences.

So what should I do? And please be respectful with your responses. Thanks.

First let me ask you this, What do you think is your world? Well I feel the best solution to your question is to see and take him as a friend you are helping to build his own world to be like yours. Friendship and love thrives with sacrifice. Do what your mind tells you.
Politics / Re: CPC On FG/Boko-Haram Using Buhari's Name by lynton(m): 4:48pm On Nov 02, 2012
I have always known that PDP can do anything to rubbish the image of their opponent. Currently identified sponsors of Boro Haram are all members of the ruling party PDP. They can never fool me. Gen. Buhari is one man I respect so much. PDP should know that Nigerians are fools.

Can you imagine the greed. I left that school (ABSU) in 2007 and the last school fees I paid was N25,000k. How many years after is now between N100,000 to N120,000. Where on earth do these university authorities expect Nigerians to get such amount of money. This is very bad. Why such level of greed.

ominid1: WILL YOU JOIN A NATIONWIDE PROTEST AGAINST THE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IN NIGERIA? IT HAS HAPPENED IN TUNISIA, THE EGYPTIANS MODIFIED IT, THE ALGERIAN'S ARE ITCHING FOR A CHANGE. IT APPEARS THE DAWN OF A PROTEST AGAINST THE SEEMINGLY INCOHERENT EMPLOYMENT POLICIES OF ALL GOVERNMENT IN NIGERIA HAS COME.

WE CAN ADVISE THEM BETTER.

WHATS UR TAKE?

Sure I'll if not for my sake, for sake of the young once and generation unborn. We have to make our government to seat up. It seems as they have fallen asleep in their comfort zone. I've come to discover that we Nigeria think that God will come down from heaven to perform a miracle for Nigeria to be better. It is our sole decision as Nigerians to tell our leaders what we really want. We have to remind them that unemployment issue should be given urgent attention because they feel all is well.

Unemployment is a pest that has and still eating deep into the fabric of Nigeria. Let them start something rather than continue waiting for jobs that not readily available. God bless Nigeria!
