Investment / The Monkey Money Madness! (MMM) by mej67: 10:25am On Nov 24, 2016 |
Once upon a time in a village, a man appeared and announced that he would buy monkeys for N100 each. The villagers seeing that there were so many monkeys around, went out to the forest and started catching them. The man bought thousands at N100 and as supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their efforts. He further announced that he would now buy at N200. This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again. Soon the supply diminished and people started going back to their farms. The offer rate increased to N250 but the supply of monkeys became so little that it took much effort to even see a monkey, let alone catch one. The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at N500! However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would now buy on his behalf. In the absence of the man, his assistant told the villagers: ''Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that my OGA has bought from you, I will sell them to you at N350 and when my OGA returns from the city, you can sell it to him at N500''. The villagers squeezed out all their HARD EARNED savings and bought all the monkeys. The most greedy ones among them even sold their lands to purchase many MONKEYS, hoping to make a huge profit without labor. Then... They never saw the man or his assistant. Only monkeys everywhere! Welcome to # MMM.The world of Monkeys! |

That's what someone who wants to succeed in leadership should be saying. Can someone compare that to 97% and 5% post-election speech of our own president. 2 Likes |
Politics / Re: Jonathan And The Rented Crowd In Sokoto by mej67: 8:12am On Nov 19, 2016 |
While agreeing with you, kindly ponder this: The same GEJ as president with same 'hired' crowd was not able to campaign in same north during his ŕe-election. Moral of my story: a measure of frankness and acceptance stands behind every hired crowd. The fact is that ordinary people on the street of the country has yet to practically feel anything good from Buhari administration. Everything is media news about money stolen, recovered; people accused, arrested. But on the ground and for real, nothing except things going worse. I believe those guys were prompted, but I also believe the feeling of those carrying placard is as real as anything. donphilopus: 1 Like |

El-Rufai ia driven by personal ambition and worships or castigated based on what he perceives will propel his agenda. He did the same to Shiite and their leader. https://www.nairaland.com/2804121/photos-el-rufai-el-zakzaky-january Today, after he courted and dined with their leader before election, he's shouting crucify him the most. The same thing with Southern Kaduna people. 3 Likes

SE is a dead end for the ruling cabal. Quote me. So, after using and dumping SW they want to switch to SE and hope to achieve it? Woe unto us in South. Just imagine how they see us -like malu(cow) with no sense. This is a big opportunity for SW/SE/SS alliance. Let's not lose it please, please. I served in Kwara, worked in Laos for long. I love my Youruba brothers despite all the bashing and competition. You see. I can never say same for hausa/fulani. Serious. Those guys don't mean us any good. A clarion call please. Let's unite! Another clear proof of admission of failure by current administration. So, a year was completely lost before he realised that he could not rule alone like a junta he was in the 80s. Very soon he will realise that 3 years equals 2 years and 10months. That's the time before next party primary election. 2 Likes 1 Share |

LoveMachine: Be frank here. Buhari administration wants to topple terrorism? OK, let's say we agree with you. It also wants to topple and anihiliate Shia Muslims in the North, Biafra agitators in South East and is heavy-handed with Niger Delta militancy. The human rights records of Nigerian govt has headed south since Buhari. In fact, US will really be asking themselves now the reason for not allowing GEJ to buy weapons. Now they are really stuck with a real human rights abuser 3 Likes |

This is for Zombies alone: Pls add and subtract the following : 1. The abducted girl were not sexually abused - FG. BUT 1 is carrying a baby and another that ran away few weeks afterwards had a baby also. The girls now stated that as much as 80 has got married as we speak. 2. No ransome paid -FG. BUT the whole world is witness to a surge in BHT boldness as signalled by recent attacks that claimed a high profile Col. ALI and many more. Right now, over 80 combatants are still missing in action. 3. We have technically defeated BHT -FG BUT ........ 4. Past administration did not buy any weapons -FG BUT so far up till today, fight against BHT is with weapons bought by last regime as Bubu is yet to order or take delivery of a single firing pin not to talk of munitions 40 Likes 2 Shares |

Why is the Army talking? We're they part of the negotiation? Olodo to power 5. The parties that negotiated know what they got Bubu to Consent to. More ransome is being packaged, mind you. DHQ should just shut their trap a begi 7 Likes |

If your goal is to excite the Igbos to hate PDP or a reincarnate of it coming soon, I'd simply say to you that your scheme is Dead on Arrival. Inside your heart, you fear the obvious -a mother PDP candidate will sweep Bubu out of Aso Villa with likely block vote from SE, majority of SS, more than half of SW and a split northern vote. This will come to pass. Igbos won't go from any presidency come 2019. That I can assure you. 6 Likes |

ayodotcom: You should have qualms, why not. The analogy is rubbish. One, you are not govt, you don't have the army and a all the security apparatus available to govt. What this clearly mean is that Buhari administration is admitting not being able to secure Nigerians within the nations internal boarders. Instead of paying ransome, they should have worked to smash them and rescue the girls or fail but scatter the apprehended. Where are these Boho Horam bandits? Not somewhere in Libya or Morocco but somewhere within our boarders, within known local governments. Even Sambisa is a known location. What kind of nation is Nigeria sef? Assuming we are at war with another country. So their combatants can hide somewhere and we will not be able to find them. It's a big shame and dull national disgrace that the location of abducted first cannot be found up rill now. |

I'm trying to add 2 plus 2. How and why John Kerry Visited? How and why northern Governors visited USA (great alibi for the cash transfer?).? How and why Minister August Ogbe responded on behalf of FEC ? How Presidency responded with clenched lips, that the would wprk with Trump, instead of outrightly congratulating him: a copy message as if reluctant? I'm still thinking Fabulocity: |

BAD IDEA: 1. Owerre is keen town. The operators will struggle to make it 2. There are more bad roads in Owerre than good ones. Where will the cabs ply and make the expected returns. Keke wins again 3. Why KIA? IVM will have been cheaper and set up servicing and parts shop in Owerre. 4. This is not a 2nd term project. It should have been in 1st term so now he'll be recouping 5. The colour scheme makes it 'special intervention'. No ordinary folk will buy and brand that colour. If it was normal city colour better for sustainability With above few points of mine, I've every belief that I have convinced you beyond reasonable doubt that it's the same Okorocha China development of Imo 3 Likes |

Chai! They have turned full circle on everything. EVERYTHING I said: 1st - GET is to blame; after they saw it wasn't catching on - we (APC) take full responsibility 2nd - Boko Haram has been technically defeated; now that the reality is staring them in the face - Boko Haram resurgence is because of help of individuals And now, a front line APC senator has joined in what's being said before that fighting corruption needs a systematic approach and not catch am, arrest am. Korofo approach. God help us in the hands of vision-less, directionless, propaganda driven APC central government |
