I'm lactose intolerant so milk isn't really my thing. For my kids I was using Nido medium size until the price rose to N6000 and I cant find the small tin here, switched to Marvel and its now N3200 for small one. Tried 3crowns kids' tummys were just running up and down, its N1000 for 900g satchet. I put a hold on milk for now. Milk for them will be from salary to salary. Just tired of the whole thing.

What of the frequent arrests of youth holding electronic gadgets and labeling them online frauds by police? How much of their monies were spent on bail or even taken forcefully at gunpoint by security agents? Does he know how many people they cowed out of doing e-business and many more that were scared from starting? What of the bad policies and decisions that affect prices and overall business operations? This man should let us be abeg. We are making it against all odds and the least he can do to himself and his likes is not to come now claim the glory of our self effort.

They were more than 4mths. Delivered to me 7th august and I sold them between 21st and 23rd december. Target was to sell by 6mths initially. Lies? Haba! I keep broilers for up to 11weeks and I still sell same @ 6weeks (half the time) all for consumption. A 5 weeks difference not to talk of Turkey that stayed for over 5mths and I was to sell @ 6mths. Like i said i would have preferred to wait until 6mths and would have sold for nothing less than 27k but the pressure from buyers and price we agreed made me sell them then. Maybe you dont know 2020 was the year we saw sharp price increase in poultry products (meat & eggs) especially at the 3rd to last quarter and it was also the period many small farms either went down or scaled down due to unsustainable operating costs. I'm a victim of the latter. There was some sudden scarcity of birds for meat @ xmas time and we took advantage and cashed out on the available. Average broiler that was sold for 2500-3000 naira in 2019 became 4500-5000 naira. Those turkeys in 2019 I would have sold for 13-15k max but 2020...

I tried Turkey last year. It was encouraging to be honest. Bought 7 of them weeks old @ 7000 naira each. Reared from august to December and sold each for 22000 naira. However, I lost one at young age, lost one in a fight with the bully of the pack and slaughtered the bully for my family. Got 88k for the remaining 4 and you needed to see how people rushed them. They were not fully matured even. I planned to sell by February this year but succumbed to buyers' pressure and the attractive prices.

It is a delicate position you found yourself in and I think you are fortunate to have realized it yourself and early enough before it leads you to acts that will bring tears to you and people around you. It is natural to want to be better than the next Joe, but getting angry instead of grateful when helped is dangerous. I think your feeling should rather make you work on improving yourself generally to attain some level of independence. Learn to appreciate what you have attained so far and also learn to value people for their being and not just what they have or what they can give, you dwell on material things to the extreme.
And for the jealousy part, you will need some form of professional help with that.

May 2004. It was an uncle, a distant one who had been at his brother'shouse in my neighborhood in Jos for some weeks on treatment.
Just woke from sleep that morning when the younger uncle came to my house. After discussing with my dad my dad called me to ask to follow younger uncle to his house to help him with some stuff. I ignorantly dressed up and while we were walking to the house they were discussing the burial arrangements in our local dialect. I dont speak the language but I understand when its spoken. That was when the shivers hit my body. Ha! Burial? It was only one thing, senior man was no more. Younger Uncle also called a neighbor of about my age to help. We got to the room. The body laid on the bed with nothing on. How little a man can be when lifeless.
We had to wear some shirt and trouser on the body and carry it from the room to the car. It was one of the hardest things I did both physically and mentally. To be honest human bodies weigh more than live humans. We got to the morgue and another shocker. The attendant said we shouldn't have worn clothes on him because they would need the body naked for effective preservation. We had to strip the body naked again. Wow! Took us another 15-20 minutes of struggle. Kai!
We finally did it and were asked to wash ourselves in a sink there though we wore plastic gloves all through. That experience kept playing on my mind through that day. I could barely eat for the whole day. I didn't attend the burial because of my mind state then.

Started a poultry business after lockdown wahala with about 1000 birds, 700 layers & 300 broilers. Also tried some Turkeys for the first time, 15 of them. I invested about 4million naira setting up battery cages, overhead water tank, semi-auto water dispenser and feed trough, eco friendly waste collection/disposal system and all. Wife was supposed to run the farm but she was pregnant so we employed someone to watch the farm under her supervision. Farm had room with bath and toilet for the worker and a brooding room which he used as extra accommodation as I wasn't into brooding. When birds began laying, this guy negotiated supply deal with a woman who sold noodles&chips across the road. He would wake in the night and pick eggs laid after wife left in the evening then supply to the woman's shop. We were practically sharing proceeds like 70:30 and the maniac was still collecting salary of 25k per month. Feed was just finishing and eggs proceeds were not measuring up until a neighbor caught and reported him. I involved the police and both were arrested but the buyer opted for personal settlement and she refunded what we could establish. I lost alot and had to scale down the business until wife is strong enough to run it on her own. Presently do only layers of 200max. I cant sink funds to share with any thief again. People have been coming to ask for the job but I always tell them no money even though the truth is I cant trust anyone again. I've been stung once and it's enough.

The rate we are going as a country is not sustainable. Why dont we imbibe some common sense. Suspend new infrastructure that have been draining us, just maintain the existing ones. Use the capital budget to offset our debt so we can free ourselves from the debt burden. Then we can take it up from there. I mean use simple micro management of fund sense on an aggregate level. Why spend on unviable infrastructure (roads, bridges, culverts, dams) when Human Capital Development is dwindling? Education is crumbling, healthcare is shambling, agriculture is unsustainable.

Lols... For me, I made paper propellers and told the twin boys the one that ran faster would be able to lift up and fly like a helicopter. Omo, see race and jumps up and down the yard. Then I slept for an hour. Afterwards they came in exhausted and disappointed that neither flew up. I went "you guys both didn't run fast enough, let's go have pizza for more energy". I had my rest. Such bubbly young men that can be thorns in ones weekend.

Exactly it is like corporate spying. My guy is not even supposed to liaise with regular salesmen so that there'll be some objectivity/independence in his reports. The company is GB foods, makers of Gino products, Bama and others. I'm not sure but I think it's a new role in the industry. It's new in the company that I'm certain. I'm aware they employed one rep in each of the 6 geopolitical zones,2 in Lagos and 2 in Ibadan for obvious reasons. My guy covers north east. Maybe with increased business they will need more hands. I'm not sure but I think the role is new in many FMCGs. You can inquire further.

I think alot of people need to update themselves with current trends about jobs. A former colleague lost his job in 2018 he just got a new job as market intelligence officer for an FMCG company. His job is to collect information on the company's goods and those of competitors (prices, complaints, quality, etc) and forward same to management. He doesn't have an office but is expected to go round markets for data collection. With the relationships he established in the market, he stays home and gets his data via calls and chats. He earns 180k per month. Nothing like Yahoo Yahoo.
