Emperormartin: Mine is I can't pray pray publicly.
Be it in my house, in a vehicle or even in a company of two.
If you point me to lead in prayer na wahala be that ooo I'll start mumbling. Nothing will come out again
But that doesn't mean I don't pray. I'm a Christian. I pray silently. I just love silent prayers.
So over to you! What is it that people easily do but you can't do? Lie. I cant lie. If I did, I would counter myself the next minute. I knew that from primary sch. So many times I exposed myself by myself. I learnt the unpleasant way not to lie. At least when it's not necessary. |

jaelz: Breaking up is no fun and could be hard, but believe you me sometimes that is the best thing that could actually have made by you decision wise.
So I broke with this overly disrespectful lady who felt because her business fetched her millions monthly she could rub on my face, nevertheless I won back my respect but God damn it, I miss her local efo riro with dawadawa ( Locust Bean ), dried fish and red oil from Onitsha.
What is that one thing that you miss the most about your ex? Miss the way she suspected I was cheating on her and she got agitated. Meanwhile I would just be having a couple of drinks with my guys. Nothing else but if I wasn't with her, I was with another woman. Kind of gave me some power over her thought, paranoia, and control over her. she was jealous and petty @ the same time. Had to free myself from her pettiness. and thank heavens I did. |

Originalsly: Let's chew this carefully. The break up was mutual.... more like you both drifted apart. Of all the ex's ... this is the one that your flesh becomes weak...ehmmm.... weak weak. Why would you believe your principles will apply to her? It will take half of a spark to set your bodies on fire. On managing the business..... how exactly you being there will help her manage? Whatever the answer... it can be done remotely. You know her motive.... that all this helping to manage and whatever is a front..... you know what is the deal..... an invitation to week end intimation. Isn't what you really want to know is whether to accept or decline?... that you would love to see her again.... but know it is highly likely to end in bed.... and you are worried because she is married. I can bet my life and half of my next life that if she were not married... we would never be reading this. Leave the woman to her husband.... your conscience is already pricking you! You have put it better than I wanted to. @OP, heed to this advice. |

Draslo: I'm not going to bore you with an epistle.
We dated between 2016-17. We had a mutual break-up cause I went to Ghana for a bit (5 months. I needed a change of scenery). We spoke and chatted at intervals before we both ghosted each other. I heard she got married to a big shot Abuja guy in 2019.
Fast forward to Saturday evening this past weekend, I got a message on Instagram from her. Long story short, she opened a beauty spa in Abuja in December. She wants me to help her manage it. She knows I have my commitments in Lagos but wants to take advantage of the fact that I visit Abuja once or twice a month. She proposes that I can come only on weekends since my weekdays are almost fully engaged, ensure her books are balanced and she'll pay for my return flight every Friday. I asked if her husband is aware of who I am. She stuttered and I just knew he doesn't. She will pay well but it's not about the money. It's more like granting a favour but I feel she's got an ulterior motive somewhere. And me, I have a soft spot for her and my flesh is very, very weak.
Do you think I'm right? Or maybe I'm just being paranoid?
Modified. I'm sorry to say but many of you reason like kids. I have no intention of sleeping with her. I'm principled never to sleep with any of my exes. Do you have any idea how many women are on this planet? What is wrong with the lot of you? I just find it hard to turn her down because she's such a good person. RUN!!! For your life and the sanity in it. Never engage with a married ex. forget the pay and all. Keep yourself away from guilt and "karma". |

abimic: 18wheeler, how about this? This scenario is when an account is suspected of fraud. There are many reasons an account is placed on freeze. KYC deficiencies, Law enforcement requests, court orders, even by the bank to set a trap to catch a fraudulent person. Lawyers dont enforce court orders. They actually dont need to because the order is a force on it's own. |

Alaigbopress: Somebody will just sit in his room and make up one funny story. Money cannot be transferred to a frozen bank account. Frozen means nothing goes in nothing goes out. From what I have seen so far it shows we have many financial illiterates in Nigeria. Theres partial freeze and theres total freeze. Partial freeze can be Freeze on debit transactions (Post No Debit); or Freeze on credit entries(Post No Credit). The most common one is PND and yes, fund can be credited into the account but no withdrawals are allowed. Hope it's clear to you now. |
Business › Re: I Mistakenly Transferred Money To A Frozen Bank Account by 18wheeler: 1:31pm On Mar 21, 2021 |
abimic: The ones you deal with, are they with frozen accounts? Do you know why the account was frozen? Court won't just dish orders like that bro... Courts dont just issue orders based on complaints by complainants. Some investigation is done and the court must be convinced of the genuineness of the complaint before the order is issued. Once we receive such order we only verify from the court if its issued by them then we apply. Remember we make attempt to contact and notify the customer though if customer cannot be reached doesn't prevent us from applying the order. And by the way, unfreezing the account here is one-off. The account returns to freeze status after reversal of the fund. At least 2 units are involved in this process. The Legal unit for interpreting the order, and Internal Control who actually give approval for unfreeze and reversal. |

abimic: Don't think it would be that easy, even with court order. There are laws guiding the banking sector which the judge would make reference to, the only thing they can do is make move to unfreeze the account. The account owner must make move to unfreeze the account. The owner of the account himself must be dubious to have been unable to unfreeze the account multiple times, involving EFCC if possible would unravel the mystery behind why the man dishes out frozen account number for transfer. The owner of the account is hiding something that hasn't been said. Jane, what you think? Vampireem With a court order its straight reversal, theres no difficulty. Attempt is only made to notify the recipient of the order and when he cannot be contacted the order is still applied. You only write to the court confirming applying the order without customer's consent So the court is in the know. We deal these everyday. Some are even transfers to wrong accounts. 123 account in XYZ bank credited instead of 123 account in QPR bank. We reverse when a court order is presented. |

VillageBus: I made a transfer to a man whom I buy bulk knitting wool from, but he told me that the account have been frozen and he doesnt have any plan to go and unfreeze it cause he have gone to the bank four times they didn't unfreeze it. Is there any way I could get my money back? cause the man have already told me that my money is gone, cause there is nothing he can do. And the money isn't even mine, I am just a middleman for people who want to buy wool in large quantities. Pls nairalanders is there a way I can get my money back?? Just go to your bank and lodge a fund recall request backed up by a court order. The receiver's bank will be contacted by your bank to recall the fund and reverse it to your account. Some little investigation will be made but your money will surely return. It's more genuine and fast that way because as soon as your bank lodges a fund recall request to the receiver's bank it's being tracked by CBN and there are timelines for resolution or sanction will be applied on the bank. BTW the guy is a fraud. Theres no freeze reason that cannot be lifted on an account. At the extreme where nothing can be done with an account it will be closed. With a court order you dont need his consent to get your fund back. |

This should be a major agenda of the elected representatives of those areas. Their silence is suspect. Are they ignorant of it, or afraid to offend the establishment they draw "Bread" from? Displacement of people even by natural disasters is devastating not to talk of by land grabber. If leadership is weak or compromised, these are some of the unfortunate things the people pass through. Where are the Berom reps, Senate and state assembly members that it is a Cultural group that is coming up to speak on such critical thing that can wipe of a people and their history from the face of the earth? |

I'm a proud Manchester United fan
I started supporting Manchester United in the year 2003 due to my love for Van Nistelrooy who was brought in with the sum of £19M during that time .
Let's see yours this should be fun And Mods oya do the needful make I no too para Lights up my kpoli in peace Real Madrid. 1999/2000 UCL. Can't remember if it was the round of 16 or Q- final round against Man Utd. First leg ended 0-0 in Madrid. Man Utd fans didn't allow us rest about how they would defend their title as they were the defending champions then. 2nd leg in Manchester, before we knew what was happening, Man Utd was 0-3 down. Game ended 2-3 I think. Man Utd was out of the UCL. Fell in love with Real Madrid from that day for silencing the Man Utd fans for us then. And one highlight in the game was the turn that Redondo did on Hernan Berg (if I still remember the name well) before passing to Raul Gonzalez to score... Magical. |

daddytime: This current comic relief should be enough for the discerning to deduce that the service chiefs in question are aware of the treasonable shenanigans ongoing at the seat of power and were able to maximize it to their advantage with a threat to speak up or usurp power by force hence, the senseless extension of their tenures and service.
They most likely had also negotiated these soft-landings in the form of ambassadorial appointments to be immuned from prosecution.
The truth is, whatever is being presently done in secret will one day come out in the open for all to see.
There's definitely something ongoing. If it smells like poo, it sure as heck must be poo.
