One crafty female from China has performed the ultimate hustle to raise funds for a home deposit.

The scheme involved a lady convincing her 20 boyfriends to buy her 20 new iPhone 7s, which she then sold for enough money to put a down payment on a house.

Using the pseudonym Proud Qiaoba, a blogger gave a detailed description of how the hustle was performed by a colleague of hers, dubbed Xiaoli.

While the legitimacy of the story might sound dubious at first, the BBC reported it has been able to authenticate the claims.

Proud Qiaoba said she was utterly surprised when Xiaoli revealed she sold 20 iPhones to a mobile phone recycling plant for $A23,200 ($17,815) and then used that money for her house deposit.

“Everyone in the office is talking about this now,” Proud Qiaoba wrote in her blog, reports the BBC.

“Who knows what her boyfriends think now this news has become public.”

Proud Qiaoba said Xiaoli did not come from a wealthy family, so she had to think outside the box to raise the funds for a home.

“Her parents are getting old and she might be under a lot pressure hoping to buy them a house,” she wrote.

“But it’s still unbelievable that she could use this method.”

Making the feat even more impressive is the fact the iPhone 7 was only launched on Sept. 17 this year, which means Xiaoli hustled quickly.

Following the story, users on China’s microblogging site Sina Weibo have been expressing admiration for the smart cookie.

“I can’t even find one boyfriend. She can actually find 20 boyfriends at the same time and even get them to buy her an iPhone 7. Just want to ask her to teach me such skills,” wrote one user.

However, not all agree, with other users labeling her “shameless.”

It’s more than likely Xiaoli isn’t too bothered by the negative comments as she is busy moving into her new pad and juggling a roster of 20 boyfriends.

Nice thread 2buffagain...for starters, I totally am without empirical data to speak authoritatively on this subject; I assume your reference is strictly towards those seeking green card and their spouse or intending couples and not in a case where either or both parties is an American citizen,yes? What I do know from the school of common Sense as your assertions have laid out is that it almost never work out out well! There is the question on the situation and strength of commitment of the relationship in tandem with other variables. Now as you asserted and as been common occurrence to those seeking green card to marry over there...why would anybody in their right mind wait on their spouse to marry someone else for green card and still come back to that same relationship...with a promise to make a better life over there and come pick you up? That would be letting your life and dreams weigh in the balance of a faulty decision. Do people still do that?

I have a friend who went to Germany with visiting visa and planned staying(already staying), the funny part is that the parents hurriedly got him a wife and he zoomed off after the traditional marriage.


Up till now, he hasn't visited but do send money and other stuffs.

The wife is not yet pregnant for him and she feels lonely most of the time. Now the loneliness and has developed for desperation . she yarns for him.

As her husbands good friend, I do chat ad call her but now I'm scared of visiting her.

She always pops this question each time we chat , "what if *** doesn't come for me?

Well, I always avoid that question like kilode.

She is regretting ever getting married to him now and ready to walk out.

Women only attach emotions to someone they admire a trait in.
initially they might not be emotionally attached but the more time they spend with a guy, the more they admire something about him.
E. g a guy that keeps going to a particular prostitutes and always treating her right-like giving her her stated amount, buying gifts for her, etc. Over time, the prostitute will develop emotions and wouldn't want the guy to meet another prostitute. At the end of the day, the prostitute might change her ways and try to be with the guy permanently.

President Muhammadu Buhari has noted that he is doing all his best to utilize the country’s resources to develop the country.

Mr President said this during an interactive session with the Nigerian community in Paris, while maintaining his commitment towards developing the educational sector.

Buhari who said results can be seen on road, rail and power said “My frustration is that some people still have plenty stolen money stashed in Europe, U S and other countries”.

He promised that allocations to the educational sector will be improved as revenue increases, describing the sector as a major engine for the development of any country.

“We are currently reviewing investments in the entire infrastructure of the country like road, rail and power, including investing more in education. We will certainly need to do more in education,’’ he said.

Buhari also called on elites across the country to rally round and support the educational sector, expressing surprise that the elites are not moved by the fall in standards and structures of educational institutions.

“I am doing my best now to utilize our resources to develop the country,’’ he said. “ We are already getting results on road, rail and power. My frustration is that some people still have plenty stolen money stashed in Europe, U S and other countries.’’

On war against terrorism, Buhari said new weapons and hardware would be given to the military, while the challenge of abduction and kidnapping in some parts of the country will receive more attention with better gathering of intelligence.

“We campaigned on three key issues; security, improving the economy, and fighting corruption, and we have not been controverted by anyone that we have not recorded some results,’’ he added.

You are right, but at times its not always true. I've been to the US countless number of times and return before my Visa expires. I never over stayed my visa. Your lover can be that individual who goes there and does what he plans to do and depart the US as indicated on his Visa. my 10 cents is that if you are waiting for any guy to consummate a trans-Atlantic love, it must be that dope guy who loves you like kilode, such guys would surely come back for you and wont do things that would truncate their chances of bringing their family along to the US.
