FYI, I was born into a very deeply religious christian home and when I was practicing born again back then, you didn't know anything about the religion and god you so much carry in your head today. But I was able to find the truth about the sham in religion early enough which made me to be on the right path today.
The bible is a fairy tale book, so don't quote it to buttress any argument you want to put forward to me. Instead prove to me the authenticity of the bible without quoting any verse from the bible.
I don't need any stupid treat from you to succumb to the religious madness that have made your continent to be in a state of stagnation in development and abject poverty this long. If you have gone to any of those countries you mentioned and see the level of public structure they have viz-a-viz Nigeria, you will not need any economic indices to use as a yard stick to know they are better and atleast 100 years ahead of Nigeria. Also do you know that over 80% of Nigerian states are non productive and leech on other states? I partly disagree with you here. The most important education is not the one you get from the university but Nursery, Primary and Secondary. that is where the brain is developed and nurtured to reason deep about stuffs. The kind of education these kids get that encourage self expression and right to query anything is the reason they are very smart. They are even taught basic things like traffic laws, civil laws and responsibilities as a citizen etc, so they know their basic rights. Most teachers don't even know these stuffs in Nigeria.

I also partly agree with you because the African culture is partly the problem, where people don't want you to express yourself in the midst of elders. Africans are so wicked and filled with jealousy and competition and dont like it when you succeed.
I once started a business in Nigeria with the money I saved from my salary while working as an employee. I was able to raise a couple of millions just 3 years after the end of my NYSC while living a very very prudent and harsh life just to meet up my target of saving 75% of my salary in 2years, which I was able to do by not buying a car, not renting an apartment and living my life on strict budget.
I eventually started the business but had the following constraints:
1. Spent atleast 7,000 on Diesel everyday. Imagine 7,000*31=217,000 naira every month
2. Service the generator regularly
3. Government officials came from ministry of health, environment, fire fighting, tax office, Lagos state SIGNAGE, all demanding for one payment or the other, running into several hundreds of thousand naira.
4. I had about 11 staff I was paying salary who were stealing from me regularly.
5. I pay fixed bill of 10,000 naira to PHCN for light which I don't ever see.
6. When I couldn't meet with all the payments, Lagos Statement government came to take off my Signage, I was charged to court, my placed was locked down, and all sort of dehumanizing treatment was given to me for trying to be creative in investing my money.
There were so many other problems I experienced which I can not completely talk about here.

This is the experience of a young Nigerian university graduate in his 20's, that decided to be a wealth creator part time, while still doing his professional job as an Engineer but the system failed him. At the end, I had to close the business after I had lost about 5 million naira and couldn't continue using my hard earn salary to bail the business, to pay other people that didnt have the vision I have.
A lot of Nigerians are creative and have good business and innovative skill, but where is the environment to actualize that? Don't say I am giving an excuse, because the above story happened to me personally.

Pls. enlighten me. Do Netherlands Embassy requires medical tests before visa is issued? I will appreciate a response to this question.
I have applied for a study visa to Canada in April 2011 and got called for medical test(as a procedure for visa) in July,2011 but during the interview with the designated doctor of the embassy,she asked if I have ever had TB. I told her d truth that I had the ailment8.5years ago and I got cured of it 8years. The doctor wrote her comments and the embassy directed to to go for sputum smears test,which comes negative,additional test was requested and I was directed again to see a Pulmonologist. On d long run,the Doctor told me that the TB relapses,and that it will take abt 1 year for me to be treated. Though I have started d treatment in Dec.2011 it is just a daily intake of some medicine and I can take it along whenever I want to go anywhere.
I do not want to put my egg inside one basket and I am finding some other options. I consider Netherlands better and preferable in my opinion. I would like to know if the Embassy directs students to take medical test. If it does not,I think I can continue with my treatment in Netherlands when I eventually get the visa. what is stops d processing of my admission with the schools I applied to,is the medical test issue. please i need ur comment,advice and response.

Let me go straight to the point: Why do we seat around while ordinary men like ourselves get rich at our expense? These people take money from us in the name of ‘offerings and tithes ‘,drive around in luxury cars,live in the most expensive houses and put on the most expensive suits and wrist watches.

What hurts me the most is that despite these numerous ‘Avenues of wealth’ they still own the most expensive schools which are not even affordable to the common man or at least the average member of their church. Look at Oyedepo’s Convenant University and Adeboye’s Redeemer’s University to mention a few.It is too bad that most of these pastors come from poor backgrounds and that some were even granted free education by catholic mission schools.Why would you charge exorbitant fees when you make millions of dollars with offerings and tithes that people give from their hard earned money?I would not say that you make the schools free cos Nigerians will take advantage but make it very subsidized! At a time when education is really not affordable to most people, one should be able to depend of these schools but unfortunately they are just business empires instead of a help to the masses.

Why would a pastor have up to 7 vehicles when most of the members of his congregation don’t even know what to eat for lunch not to mention having transportation fares to get home? What for? And you preach that everything is vanity? Nigerians let’s open our eyes to this very obvious fraud which is the BIGGEST of our time!

Very recently,Pastor Oyedepo slapped a young girl now He’s only human so I gave him some slack but before I knew it,the arrogant slowpoke went on air to justify his action and even boasted about it! I was so surprised when many Nigerians dug up unreasonable excuses to justify the assault but well,I was not surprised.Nigerians claim that they are wise and that no one can dupe them but all you need to do is include the name of Jesus and you will clean them out. This is an extremely religious country and it’s quite unfortunate that these men are aware of this and use that to their advantage.You know it’s too bad that many still chose to remain blind and as long as this continues,these men will only get richer at the expense of millions of people. I am very much aware that many will castigate me for this write-up but then again,it’s a free country right?

I feel your pains. Its good some people are beginning to see reality in the religious fraud plaguing Africa. When I started antagonizing religion about 17 years ago, I was like a tree in the forest standing alone until I got into Unilag 13 years ago. It will take a long time to free the mind of people off the disease of religion that have prevented us from developing as a race since we were freed by our colonial masters. Nigerians, be wise and take your life in your hands. The religious god does not exist and was made up by early men to explain things they didn't understand and also control their subjects. The likes of Oyedepo and Adeboye are still using that deceit to extort money from you all because you all make yourselves docile and refuse to use your brain to reason for yourself but instead allow people to decide your fate for you. Yes oh, HND is being discriminsted somewhat in the job market; but reason this *ish well. . . . .Yabatech is not beans; a Yabatech kpali carries as much weight as any of the other prestigious Unis we hear off in naija, don't let anybody tell you different!
My advice. . . .finish HND, go for PG and then straight to Masters, MBA, PHD and so on. Dropping from potential HND 1 to year 2 - not forward movement or thinking in my humble opinion!

Worst advice you can give to someone that have a BSc admission. It is better to go to Bowen or Kogi State University than to go to Yabatech. HND is HND. Please don't slow down your progress in life  because of extra 2 years you will spend studying for your BSc against HND

I believe i met the Admission Requirements, The School requires you Pay in 7.000 Euros into their Account, The Money serves for your Admission, Visa/Resident Permit, Accommodation Reservation, Proof of enough Fund for 1 year, Medical/Health Insurance. You can clearly see that the tuition and total cost of living for the 2012/2013 session which will be your starting year if admitted this year is 21,071 Euros because you are a Non EU citizen. That is already over 4 million naira. Post the link that says you will be paying only 7,000 euros as a Non EU citizen for your visa to be processed

The concept of Salvation involves two parties only.GOD and MAN.

FYI, the technology and know how of refining is not the problem as there are many Nigerians home and abroad with experience on the industry, but the security and the law enforcement agency is the problem. Do you think they don't know about all these mini refineries all these while?

Like I said earlier all the requirements you need for admission are clearly stated in the admission application page of what ever school you intend applying to.

Actually, i would like to know more about †ђξ scholarship programme like you mentioned that u were awarded a 100% scholarship, please what was or what's is †ђξ criteria for awarding scholarship? Secondly, since we α̲̅Rε̲̣̣̣ from an english speaking country moreover our degree was taught in english with this regard, can TOEFL or IELTS be waived from †ђξ requirement? My friend and I have no TOEFL scores but my GPA is 3.78-Mechanical/production Engineering-state uni while that of my friend is 4.57(first class)-Computer/electronic Engineering-fed uni. Please what α̲̅Rε̲̣̣̣ our chances of securing admission with scholarships respectively, even if its not a 100% scholarship.

First without TOEFL, No Dutch university will review your file for admission as its a new regulation from the government since 2010 academic year if you are from Nigeria, so you must take the toefl exam and for most of the schools, the minimum score is 90 on the computer based test and its equivalent. Concerning the scholarship, you have to compete with other people from Europe, Asia, The Americas, Australia and the middle east. TU Delft for example is a diverse environment, where you can have up to 13 nationalities in your class like in my case. The scholarship is very very competitive, so your general academic package is very important for you to be awarded any scholarship including partial. Your friend with a first class have a very good chance of getting a scholarship but for you, I will be straight forward with you and tell you that the chances of you getting any scholarship is very slim because of your GPA. Your class size might not be more than 20, so getting admission in TUDelft might be an issue let alone scholarship based on the experience of people that have previously applied here.

Dont come to the Netherlands to school if you dont have a source of paying atleast your first year tuition and cost of living. You wont even get the visa except you prove you have enough money to finance your education for the first year, which you must transfer to a dutch bank. Tuition in Delft University of Technology is 12,500 euros per year which is 25000 euros for the 2years or 5,250,000 naira for tuition alone without living expenses which is also as expensive as the yearly tuition.
Forget about hustling as a student because your work permit states you are not allowed to work more than I think 10hrs per week which  requires your ability to speak dutch, except during the summer when you can work full time. In summary you will suffer if you are planning to come here to study and pay your fees and bills through hustling. Just an advice.

Bachelors is really taught in Dutch in TU Delft, except Aerospace Engineering which is taught in both Dutch and English

Dont know much about bachelors degree also, as an intending student, you have to learn how to help yourself research to know more about what you want. Since you have the internet, you can browse and get all the information you need from the school's website. That is where you can get the most up to date and detailed information you need for your academic pursuit. So do your own search and try to depend less on people
