Religious people are so pathetic, believing every unconfirmed stories they see around to buttress the existence of their imaginary god. Wake up people |
oloriooko:FYI, I was born into a very deeply religious christian home and when I was practicing born again back then, you didn't know anything about the religion and god you so much carry in your head today. But I was able to find the truth about the sham in religion early enough which made me to be on the right path today. The bible is a fairy tale book, so don't quote it to buttress any argument you want to put forward to me. Instead prove to me the authenticity of the bible without quoting any verse from the bible. I don't need any stupid treat from you to succumb to the religious madness that have made your continent to be in a state of stagnation in development and abject poverty this long. Use your religion to free your people from the suffering they go through today. the problem you have is illiteracy as the best you have seen in life is what Nigeria has got to offer to you, so you follow the bandwagon. Get an education outside Nigeria and see that 80% of all the things you pray for are most basics in the west. |
Religion including Christianity and Islam is a fraud. They use fear to make people that refuse to use their brain to reason to be docile. Why will someone that was born thesame way as you were born claim to be superior to you through religion and you believe? I don't know why people suffer themselves by giving to millionaire pastors and still live in poverty. People open your eyes and kick out religion from you life. All you need to be successful is hard work with a little bit of luck. Also, why is religion only based on money, money, money, money and money? Is there no other good thing to talk about? people are suffering so your preaching should rather be give your excess money to your neighbour in need and not some con pastor that will use the money to buy exquisite cars, jets and properties all in his name. people use your brain |
room702:I dont think you have left the UK even if you are in Europe like your ID says. If you have gone to any of those countries you mentioned and see the level of public structure they have viz-a-viz Nigeria, you will not need any economic indices to use as a yard stick to know they are better and atleast 100 years ahead of Nigeria. Also do you know that over 80% of Nigerian states are non productive and leech on other states? I am totally against people leaving Nigeria to come commit crime in another man's country and create more bad name for other Nigerians traveling around legitimately, but I just have to respond to the ignorance in your post. Nothing works in Nigeria. Not a single thing. |
re@lchange:I partly disagree with you here. The most important education is not the one you get from the university but Nursery, Primary and Secondary. that is where the brain is developed and nurtured to reason deep about stuffs. The kind of education these kids get that encourage self expression and right to query anything is the reason they are very smart. They are even taught basic things like traffic laws, civil laws and responsibilities as a citizen etc, so they know their basic rights. Most teachers don't even know these stuffs in Nigeria. I also partly agree with you because the African culture is partly the problem, where people don't want you to express yourself in the midst of elders. Africans are so wicked and filled with jealousy and competition and dont like it when you succeed. I once started a business in Nigeria with the money I saved from my salary while working as an employee. I was able to raise a couple of millions just 3 years after the end of my NYSC while living a very very prudent and harsh life just to meet up my target of saving 75% of my salary in 2years, which I was able to do by not buying a car, not renting an apartment and living my life on strict budget. I eventually started the business but had the following constraints: 1. Spent atleast 7,000 on Diesel everyday. Imagine 7,000*31=217,000 naira every month 2. Service the generator regularly 3. Government officials came from ministry of health, environment, fire fighting, tax office, Lagos state SIGNAGE, all demanding for one payment or the other, running into several hundreds of thousand naira. 4. I had about 11 staff I was paying salary who were stealing from me regularly. 5. I pay fixed bill of 10,000 naira to PHCN for light which I don't ever see. 6. When I couldn't meet with all the payments, Lagos Statement government came to take off my Signage, I was charged to court, my placed was locked down, and all sort of dehumanizing treatment was given to me for trying to be creative in investing my money. There were so many other problems I experienced which I can not completely talk about here. This is the experience of a young Nigerian university graduate in his 20's, that decided to be a wealth creator part time, while still doing his professional job as an Engineer but the system failed him. At the end, I had to close the business after I had lost about 5 million naira and couldn't continue using my hard earn salary to bail the business, to pay other people that didnt have the vision I have. A lot of Nigerians are creative and have good business and innovative skill, but where is the environment to actualize that? Don't say I am giving an excuse, because the above story happened to me personally. |
newacca:No they don't require you to do medical test |
seedorf123:I feel your pains. Its good some people are beginning to see reality in the religious fraud plaguing Africa. When I started antagonizing religion about 17 years ago, I was like a tree in the forest standing alone until I got into Unilag 13 years ago. It will take a long time to free the mind of people off the disease of religion that have prevented us from developing as a race since we were freed by our colonial masters. Nigerians, be wise and take your life in your hands. The religious god does not exist and was made up by early men to explain things they didn't understand and also control their subjects. The likes of Oyedepo and Adeboye are still using that deceit to extort money from you all because you all make yourselves docile and refuse to use your brain to reason for yourself but instead allow people to decide your fate for you. Its time to wake up. |
Toritse_O:Ask your questions here first. If its something that requires further discussion, then I'll re route you to a different email address. I dont just give private email address because most of the questions asked are already answered previously |
Joagbaje:How do you know its a spiritual position? Why make an assumption with not a single proof to show for your statement and you made a categorical conclusion. Where in the bible was it stated that its a spiritual position? |
He doesn't exist but was made up by ancient illiterate men that couldn't understand the most basics of science. What baffles me is despite so many evidence to show he's not up there as stated by the bible, modern men still believe in such superstitions. Thesame religion prevented the advancement of science and technology during the middle age because many findings then contradicted long held believes about the state of the world relatively to god. The quotes below were made by one of the greatest inventor that lived in the middle age and was killed by the church. He was imprisoned and died in prison after refusing to recant his scientific finding to the Roman Catholic inquisition that the earth is round and not flat as preached by the same church under the guidance of the bible which they alleged was written by men inspired by god. "It is surely harmful to souls to make it a heresy to believe what is proved." Galileo Galilei "If anyone maintains that the opinion of the earth move is heresy and if afterward, demonstration and observations would prove that it does move, into what embarrassment he would have brought himself and the holy church." Galileo Galilei to the Holy Office of the Roman Catholic Inquisition. "I think that in the discussion of natural problems we ought to begin not with the Scriptures, but with experiments, and demonstrations." Galileo Galilei "It vexes me when they would constrain science by the authority of the Scriptures, and yet do not consider themselves bound to answer reason and experiment". Galileo Galilei |
RuuDie:Worst advice you can give to someone that have a BSc admission. It is better to go to Bowen or Kogi State University than to go to Yabatech. HND is HND. Please don't slow down your progress in life because of extra 2 years you will spend studying for your BSc against HND |
p.desmond:I dont know where you are getting your information from, but I am pretty sure you are not looking at the right place to get what you need. This is the tuition and fees page of the Amsterdam University College http://www.auc.nl/admissions/object.cfm/4D782E10-1321-B0BE-A4C4A5E168062ECF You can clearly see that the tuition and total cost of living for the 2012/2013 session which will be your starting year if admitted this year is 21,071 Euros because you are a Non EU citizen. That is already over 4 million naira. Post the link that says you will be paying only 7,000 euros as a Non EU citizen for your visa to be processed |
A law of god cannot apply to America and not apply to Nigeria. Do you think the September 11 attack is worst than the senseless death that happens in your country Nigeria from Boko haram bombings, road accident, armed robber attack due to lack of security, police extra judicial killings, poverty, diseases etc. The biggest problem is you have not solved the problem in your home but thinking of warning another country of their own problems. That is like pot calling kettle black |
My point is America in its current immoral state at you put it, is far more advanced, developed and better than your religious Nigeria, so what are you trying to say? If their drawing away from god is their problem, what have Nigeria that have been very close to god achieved with their high level of religiosity and devotion to god? |
Do you think America is more religious than Nigeria? For your information if you have gone to the likes of UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia which are purely Muslim countries, you will know there is no correlation between the christian god and quality of life or development of a nation you are preaching about. Atleast I have been to a couple of them and have seen the high quality of life they live myself. Those nations are very much developed and they worship Allah which you don't recognize. What about China? The communist party requires you to be an Atheist before you can be a member and today they are the one's bailing the US and Europe off their financial crises. What have your god done for your country with all the prayers you've been making to him since the inception of Nigeria? Use your brain to reason objectively and improve your life. Note 1+1=2 and will always give you 2. This means without the right ingredient, you cannot get the desired result, so keep on deceiving yourself with praying and fasting and expect a different result |
Get an education and stop being superstitious about a god created by man |
i.chuka:stop this religious crap. The bible is a story book written by ancient uncivilized men to explain things they didn't understand, so I am surprised educated people still reason in thesame line with them in this 21st century |
manny4life:You don't know a thing about me, so don't speak like you do. I am a very factual and straight forward person and so hate it when people make statements with no reasonable proof which is what you are doing so I am beginning to have an impression and opinion of how you reason. Education should make us reason like civilized people and not just claim we have some paper certificate. Without law, no country can exist. And mind you, when I say bunkery, I dont just refer to people stealing crude oil. People that divert trucks of refined product and collect government subsidy are also guilty of thesame crime and so should be dealt with accordingly because their actions deprives many Nigerians the chance of living a good life. The respect for the law is the beginning of progress for a society. FYI, the technology and know how of refining is not the problem as there are many Nigerians home and abroad with experience on the industry, but the security and the law enforcement agency is the problem. Do you think they don't know about all these mini refineries all these while? |
Penalty for bunkery should be death. That is when people can respect the law! |
Acidosis:What have you achieved with all the prayers you have sent to your god since your religion was brought into Africa over 200 years ago? Who care about your fictitious heaven which you claim to be above the earth? It is religious bigot and narrow minded thinkers like you that makes your continent rot in suffering and poverty today. Worship your god and mind your business and leave others that don't see things the way you do to live their life in peace. There is no difference between you and Boko Haram. For your information, West Africa is currently experiencing drought. Instead of you guys to start thinking on how to get into massive irrigation project and sink boreholes to acquafer in communities that need them, you'll waste your time praying and fasting when you have excess water under you. East Africa had to wait for Europe and America to come and aid them from the famine that ravage their land and you all claim that your god answer your prayers? When will you all use your brain to reason for once and think of how to use your brain to better your life? I really pity my race. |
Acidosis:It is because of people like you that the country is in shamble. Always deceiving yourselves about some spiritual nonsense which the country have been doing for the past 60 years or so with nothing to show in terms of progress. Nigeria have one of the highest concentration of devoted Christians and Muslims in the world yet her people remains one of the poorest in the world. From all indication, I can see that as long as people like you constitute a very large proportion of the Nigerian population, then you should expect the country to regress further. The greatest nations of the world today, didn't get to where they are today praying and fasting but by blood shed and fighting for their rights. Remember Martin Luther King was a Reverend father and Malcolm X was a devoted Muslim but they all fought for the liberation of their people. If you want to keep on wasting your time praying and fasting, go ahead but leave other people that want to win their future back for themselves because no god will come do for you what you must do for yourself. |
I thought prayer answers all problem ![]() |
Cannot stop BokoHaram, curruption and suffering in Africa |
OmoPastor:Why did today's multiple bomb blast happen in Kano? Just give an explanation and not your usual insult! |
first off, there are no young children. the lord does not deal with physical bodies. there are young body suits but the spirits are the same. we are spiritual beings not physical beings. how old your physical shell is, is absolutely irrelevant to the lord. he deals with your spirit. the spirit is ageless and will be punished at any time the lord sees fit whether at 2 years old or 50 years old. ever wonder why some kids are born with no legs or no hands etc etc etc ? thats payback for past life. john 9 vs 1-2.Are you saying the 8million people that died in 1st world war and 56million people in second world war had done something bad to god or dont believe in him? Common most of your posts makes absolutely no sense. Let me give a clear example of what I am talking about. India used to have the highest rate of polio infection for a single country about 10years ago. But now they celebrate almost zero polio infection due to aggressive immunization of babies over the last 10 years which have been enabled by advancement in science and medicine. But you're insisting that previous polio patients were being punished by god for their previous wrong doings? That is pure ignorance Religious people are just delusional. Really too delusional |
Give more insight since you have the experience. How do we make sure that we gain Admission?I really don't know what you expect from me again considering all the answers I have been given you before now. Ask me specific question and I will answer you. Like I said earlier all the requirements you need for admission are clearly stated in the admission application page of what ever school you intend applying to. |
@2good: truly you α̲̅Rε̲̣̣̣ too good, thanks for †ђξ vital info you α̲̅Rε̲̣̣̣ passing across,First without TOEFL, No Dutch university will review your file for admission as its a new regulation from the government since 2010 academic year if you are from Nigeria, so you must take the toefl exam and for most of the schools, the minimum score is 90 on the computer based test and its equivalent. Concerning the scholarship, you have to compete with other people from Europe, Asia, The Americas, Australia and the middle east. TU Delft for example is a diverse environment, where you can have up to 13 nationalities in your class like in my case. The scholarship is very very competitive, so your general academic package is very important for you to be awarded any scholarship including partial. Your friend with a first class have a very good chance of getting a scholarship but for you, I will be straight forward with you and tell you that the chances of you getting any scholarship is very slim because of your GPA. Your class size might not be more than 20, so getting admission in TUDelft might be an issue let alone scholarship based on the experience of people that have previously applied here. |
Dont come to the Netherlands to school if you dont have a source of paying atleast your first year tuition and cost of living. You wont even get the visa except you prove you have enough money to finance your education for the first year, which you must transfer to a dutch bank. Tuition in Delft University of Technology is 12,500 euros per year which is 25000 euros for the 2years or 5,250,000 naira for tuition alone without living expenses which is also as expensive as the yearly tuition. Forget about hustling as a student because your work permit states you are not allowed to work more than I think 10hrs per week which requires your ability to speak dutch, except during the summer when you can work full time. In summary you will suffer if you are planning to come here to study and pay your fees and bills through hustling. Just an advice. |
Bachelors is really taught in Dutch in TU Delft, except Aerospace Engineering which is taught in both Dutch and English |
Dont know much about bachelors degree also, as an intending student, you have to learn how to help yourself research to know more about what you want. Since you have the internet, you can browse and get all the information you need from the school's website. That is where you can get the most up to date and detailed information you need for your academic pursuit. So do your own search and try to depend less on people |
^^^^^^ Are you coming for Masters degree or Bachelors? |
