Hello. . . Ladies are talking of romance in relation to naija men?
It isn't smart to generalize your statement. That's hasty generalization. If you are talking about finding a romantic naija guy, I can tell you that am born with it and it flows in my blood. This is how it has been between I and Abayomi Aje, I tried every thing possible before coming here to make this post. The problem is that I stay in Benin and not Lagos. Its is the condition that I found myself that why am not happy about all this. I see guys going out with the BIG CHICKS but have always felt that I cant do the same because am not good enough. Several times I tried to get friends to learn from them but the way they sound does not really give me what I want.

It was my cousin who lied about his qualities. Sure, he is handsome but not half better than me in spoken English. I know what am saying. Initially I called but there was no one to answer the call. I persisted and when she answered, it was as if we had a quarrel. She yell at me and said "what is it?"

I hung up immediately but did not like how she sounded. I quickly sent her a text saying: madam, sorry to disturb you. I made a mistake to have called. You better call yourself to order,else I wont take it from you next time.

The next thing saw was a text message from her saying; DONT EVER CALL MY LINE AGAIN. I WISH YOU GOOD LUCK. GOOD BYE. initially I thought she was bluffing. I didnt bother to call her until the next day. When I called she refused to pick my call and untill now she has not changed. she said I should stop calling her. Its been over 3 months now and at last, I gave up on her.

There is some thing about Nigerian girls (though I love them) that just seem to irritate me----> LIES. They love it with passion but never seem to realize it.

Here is my experience

Last year, I got a girl's number from a friend and I thought that it would be a good idea to hook up with her, on a date. I tried as much as possible to be sincere with her without telling any lies. I kept calling her on phone and wanting to it take to the next level.

While doing that, I realized that she never gave me a call and so I asked why she does not call and her reply,in quote, was: there is nothing to talk about. This simply means that she was not interested in anything that has to do with me. AND SHE NEVER CALLED NOR 'FLASH'

Anyway, I kept calling her and tried as much as possible to be friendly with her.

Then this year, my cousin asked me to get him a girl or a phone number and I just gave him the girl's phone number, guess what , DRAMA

This guy, my cousin, started telling her LARGE QUANTITIES OF LIES and my eye almost pop out its sockets, what?

One was that he just came back from UK and blah blah, you should know where the rest would be going,

The result? The girl 'FLASHED' him the next day, guy's you need to see how I boiled inside. This was a girl that I was even claiming that she wont call,

She has not even seen my cousin and all this has happened, it is barely only a four days conversation so far. She has also promised to send him a text message,

But I don't know if my cousin is also lying to some extent. But the flash was real because I double checked it with the girl's number I have on my phone,

I have just thought about this and felt we should give our views on how to end unemployment in Nigeria.

In my own case this is my own suggestion.

If you cant find a job, create a job for yourself and others.


Firstly, Identify a problem that is affecting a large number of people and is begging for a solution.

secondly, Go out and look for that solution and then SELL it to the people who want it.

This is a UNIVERSAL rule for making money and being self employed.

Let me give you an example: Look at your environment for instance, there are businesses all around you-schools, churches, companies, hotels, name them.

How can you benefit from this ? This is how I benefit from this kind of businesses. If I go to them and ask for a job, there may be non. Since the advent of the internet, people have been wanting to go online. So I simply positioned myself as a website designer.

I acquired the skill in one day by using a simple software that has made website designing SO EASY that even a JSS1 student can set a professionally looking website in one hour and this can be learned all in one day. A software like WORDPRESS is the best thing that has happen to non-programmers. That mean without programming knowledge, you can design a website as fast as lightening. Do not say that oh no this is not for me because I do not know anything about websites. Listen,i could not attend the NIIT program because I had no cash! So do not think that I got the knowledge from there. It is simply with the help of this software. SO IF I CAN DO IT, YOU CAN DO IT!

The next thing that I do is go out and look for people that needs my service as a website designer. Where are this people? They are the church, the school, the real estate , the construction company, music studios, ETC .

1.What I do mostly is watch TV adverts and collect their contact details and then book an appointment with them

2. I look for website that are poorly designed and then call up the owner for appointment in order to help set up a more beautiful site.

Acquiring a skill is one thing that can save a lot of Nigerians from un-employment.

Happy New Year!

I can’t believe that a girl could love a guy and never say 'I love you’. But this is exactly what has happened to me.

In March last year, I started 'hunting' this girl (a cousin to my friend) .She kept saying No, No, No ,  I have a boyfriend and stuffs like that,

After much talk here and there I was almost giving up the chase, then one day she invited me to her house but I met her absence. I had to leave. On that same day, I called her to tell her that I was at her house but met her absence and at that point, she insisted that I should come and see her. I said to her that it was already late and that I can not come but she kept insisting that I come and I went.

On getting there, she came out and as she was getting close to me she increased the pace of walk and ran towards me. As she was doing that I was wondering why she was running towards me and before I new what to say, she hugged me. The hug was really a surprise to me. Then I asked her why she had to hug me like that. Her response was that she missed me (because she went to Lagos and we communicated often on phone until her phone was stolen and we had a little misunderstanding for 1 month).

This is a girl who kept telling me that she has a boyfriend and that she can not date me,  blah blah blah. Anyway, we headed to her cousin's house and both of them started having some sort of horse play and when she was not with us, the cousin looked at me and said: guy, I see something ooh. What did you see? I asked Tina like you! How? I can see it in her, was his reply. I believed the guy because both of them are very close. And knows her well.

On her Birthday, I bought her something and she was really shocked by it. Not really something expensive but she never thought I could do a thing like that for her.

Even at that, she would ring (flash) me whenever she was at her cousin's place so I could see her.

Sometimes I would say ' I love you' and she would say bye.

Then again I was in school and because of the frequent call I had on her, I noticed that she was acting funny in a way I didn’t like and for several days, I did not call her,  thereafter, there was a ring( flash) . I don’t think I called her on that day but a day or two later she called me for a straight 7 minutes,  wow!

On holiday, we met at her cousin's place by coincidence and when I said I was going home, she heard me and as if something pricked her from her seat, she stood up to give me a warm hug, ,  she often does that!, leaving the gathering of my friends father and mother such that my friends father asked if she was going home because it was not up to 5 minutes that she arrived

After that hug, I knew she had accepted to date me but didn’t want to tell me but all the same, I sent her a thank you text.

Then on the 2nd of Jan., 2011 I invited her to my house for the first time and all this while, I have been the one going to her house. She honoured the invitation and we got talking and I started telling about my personal life and how I lost my mum,  some sympathetic words though, but it all made her weep. Yeah!  She wept and at that point I could feel the dept of what she feels for me and I just smiled---PURE LOVE! I had to stop the story

She later hinted me that she was leaving and I asked her to give me a hug and then a KISS,  she did it passionately.
Despite that, she NEVER said ' I love you'

I feel so happy because I found someone that cares about me,  You may not know the dept of my happiness until you read what a girl did to me

I can say mine was not based on physical appearance and if it was, I do not think I would have dated her. It is not as of she is not beautiful, both i never based my relationship with her on physical appearance.

This was what happened:

After I she had left, I called her on the phone but she said she as sorry and that she would explain when she gets back, I waited for about 30 minutes and she was not back so I called her to ask for her location and she was not giving me a direct answer and the next few calls from got a shocking reply,

I am sorry I cant come back and I will be spending the night here( exes place)

I got angry and was saying things in language that I can hardly understand.


The next thing she said was ok ok ok am coming just open the door for me

But she claimed it was a joke and that she just wanted to see my reaction,

My people, isn't that some kind of stupid expensive joke that shows how she regards me?

I am glad that I have finally gotten rid of her and got a more respectable damsel in my life.
