If Chinese citizens were being arbitrarily and discriminately denied entry into the U.S., the Chinese government would do the same to Americans visiting China. Iranians are like that also. |

smartmey61: I live and work in Ghana as an importer of goods in to the country. all this write up is a lie. import duty in Ghana is very high, i import goods 2 or 3 times a week. the only good thing about the business is that things are very cost here and the currency is favouring Nigerians 1cedis 107naira. if not the import business in Ghana can send one to hell. you are right. it makes me wonder why consumable goods are expensive in Ghana. sometimes, I respect those Ghanaians as they are able to meet up with such cost. buying cars in GH is very high even fueling that car is high. I wonder how some meet up with the cost with their low salary structure. |

Can you read anything written in Shorthand if you are not of the secretarial profession? I think that presentation is self explanatory as the report indicates that we are more of an imported nation than exports. we seem to strive well in the areas of minerals exportation which I believe if we look into it, we export raw minerals. Our country Nigeria is weak at producing finished goods for exports if you look at it in other sectors of the economy as we are doing low on its exportation. This is my best understanding. |

iamdurent: how can u tell someone to graduate with "anything"
P.O.C: A graduate is not a graduate mehn. They have different levels, some went there to waste time.
Graduating with a first class doesnt guarantee success in life also graduating with 3rd class or 2.2 doesn't mean failure. But then again, its better to graduate with a good grade to be on the safer side.
OP pls start again if you can. I am glad you know. so please let's end it. |

In my company, there is a 3rd class lady who got the job, withing her 2years at work, she has been promoted twice. the guy who got a 1st class has been in the same level for long. it is not by what you graduate with, we just use that to minimize the no of applicants seeking for a particular position. |

buy wholesale and sell online...
research is the key. gaming is not my niche but I took advantage of it. I got into group chat and saw people who are in need of computer accessories used in gaming. went to computer village bought one, placed an ad , got lots of calls, sold it twice the price I bought it.
I also went to computer village, I built a gaming machine to play advance games by buying the computer parts cheap and then built it.. posted an ad and I was able to sell the computer.. I made good sales..
this is a niche I never knew about though I had an idea.
perhaps you can look into it, there are gamers our there who are in need of high graphic cards or processors which you can look into.. or you can find another niche to go into.. |

Nairaland General › Re: Man Who Recently Served As Best Man At A Wedding Dies In His Sleep (pics by 360command: 6:29pm On Feb 19, 2017 |
I cannot believe this. I know this dude way back in Ghana at KNUST. I remember him very well when he paid visits at my home with his bike. we all ate, drank, smoked, talked, slept in my home... this is really touching.. he had a nick name then called simplisous. he had a very good friend who was an ivorian then in school. the last I heard from him, he was in turkey for post graduate studies.
Nonso, a very nice guy the times I met him in Ghana. he showed love to everyone then.. we all took turns riding his bike and to those who were not able to ride it, we sat at his back and took us on a ride.. he had respects for the law when riding his bike, known by people around when he is passing with his bike.. even the Ghanaian police recognises him.. good rider though he once had an accident with a friend.. they were OK but the bike was in bad shape.
my Ghanaian landlord once called me up to warn me about the noise from the bike to which he rides into my home during visits. I related the message to him about the warnings from my landlord and since then, any times he goes out with his bike, he walks with it instead of starting the engine.. he was a true and correct guy who listened and understands.
he loved and enjoy life then in school. crazy about Ghanaian girls ass but he was true and faithful.
sad he departed this way, I did not get to see him after school even though I kept asking boys about his whereabout... he was true guy.
rest in peace Nonso.. you are a true guy, the little time I knew you, you showed love and respect.. a person one can always relate with.. I have always missed you and will always miss you. you were part of the family who gave me advice.. thanks. |
Politics › Re: We Are No Longer Comfortable Being Part Of Nigeria - Igbo Leaders. by 360command: 3:00am On Feb 18, 2017 |
laudate: You are very strange. When General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) was head of state, who was the most senior military man, that was his second-in-command? Was it not Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe from Abiriba, an Igbo man? Rear Admiral Allison Madueke was also Chief of Naval Staff under Sani Abacha, a Kanuri man from the North. Please drop this victim mentality mode. It doesn't suit you. time to sleep. the Igbo's have every right to opt out. i personally want them to be out, their wahala too much. |
Politics › Re: We Are No Longer Comfortable Being Part Of Nigeria - Igbo Leaders. by 360command: 2:37am On Feb 18, 2017 |
laudate: Again, I am asking you if it is only the Igbo that have suffered from what you described here. To the best of my knowledge, other ethnic groups especially minorities, have also experienced the same thing in the military/para military agencies, so what else is new? And what do you mean by saying "this tribe you made mention have benefited from the share even as a minority." What share??
As for your closing statement, where you claimed: "it is better you give them the republic they ask for. is it by force to be in the same Nigeria with you." I was not aware that anyone was dragging them back. When an ethnic group wants to leave a country, there are specific political steps they need to take, in order to achieve their exit. Your people have not done so, instead they keep lamenting that others are not letting them go.
Do they think that after making such an announcement, the next thing that will automatically happen, is that a new republic will be carved out for them by the authorities? Is that the way it is done? they have made reports to national house of assembly, submitted reports to the UN.like you said, there are steps in other for them to achieve it.. even the president has said " the unity of Nigeria is non negotiable". to me, these Igbo's have the capabilities to achieve their goal so as any other tribal regions but to these people they have been segregated so much. I can testify to you and say what I know, even with whatever degree an Igbo man carries today and he is in any military / paramilitary role, as long as a northern man is in power , I repeat"a northern man" the Igbo's will not smell any big position.. |
Politics › Re: We Are No Longer Comfortable Being Part Of Nigeria - Igbo Leaders. by 360command: 1:19am On Feb 18, 2017 |
laudate: You are the one that needs to shut your own mouth! Do you think what you described here only happens to the Igbo? Do you feel the Itsekiri, Igala, Efik, Kalabari, Urhobo, Yoruba, Idoma, Bini, Egun etc., have not experienced the same thing at different levels? How many of them do you see wailing on NL, because of this experience? How many of them have launched arrows of hate against other ethnic groups, like your fellow IPOB clowns? How many have advocated that violence should be used to dismember Nigeria, in order for them to get their own republic? Abeg, swerve! this tribe you made mention have benefited from the share even as a minority. I know what I am saying when it comes to been in the military/para military as an Igbo in the federal states. it does not go well on them. to tell you the truth, things became fair when obasanjo came into power. he changed the system completely from salary payment, transfer, position ranking etc. he made it equal at every level.. if people can say bad about obasanjo but to me, i respected him more when he overhaul the system. it was no more as it used to be when the northerners takes all. as as we know, Nigeria is a step forward but 10steps backward. please my issue is not with any tribe but what I despised seeing is when somebody with no certificate or experience who just arrived into the job, becomes a boss in the federal sector.. you might not know the pain maybe a friend or family has not suffered such loss which is why you talk this way. it is better you give them the republic they ask for. is it by force to be in the same Nigeria with you. |
