get a domain name and host
write 15 good content (no copy work).
do SEO, link building to get organic traffic to your blog.
or/and...
get traffic using social networking(fb, Twitter, reddit etc)
make sure you write articles and post on fb, share ..
also, make sure you find groups on Facebook that are related to your blog niche.. add ,follow, comment and post.. people then add to you,follow you and start reading your post.. and then your blog link should be placed for people to click your link..

Apply to University of Ghana (Legon) and study Computer Science there. The University if affiliated to universities in the US. If you get to the level where you can chose to apply to the US affiliate university and spend one year there (see here https://www.ug.edu.gh/international-programmes/student-exchangestudy-abroad).

Their standard is quite high so only the best go on the exchange program and trust me you can work your way to a permanent study slot when you go for the exchange. BTW you will still be blogging and make more money to finance your masters. All the best PM though.

naa forget legon, knust is much better, you know what Ghana telecoms is also good at comp sci.. In fact, I have a problem with Ghanaian or maybe African uni, it is all theory they know.. I have had opportunities working with all this people from top uni, they have no practical skills, they all make noise based in their certs and the schools attended..comp sci in an African uni is crap. just a few who knows what they are studying.

you really do not make sense.. you seem to be supporting coup but you don't support when an Igbo's carry guns saying they need to protect their region.

for building its economy, haven't you notice that the Igbo region is built on their hard work ,skills and not Federal allocation? if the amount of money given to the north to build their own side is similar to what is given to the east, I believe the east would be shining.. upon all the allocation to the north, yet they are backwards in every aspect. I am not an Igbo supporter but trying to raise out the truth..

Hello All, please help in any way that you can. My cousin is in Oman doing housemaid (we just finding out) and her mother passed away three days ago suddenly. She is trying to come home for the funeral but her boss took her to the agent's office where they beat her and sent her back to her boss house. Now her boss has her passport and will not release it. She paid 500k to her agent in Nigeria to help her process her visa and they are paying her about 50k/month for working all day.

Please help us. Anyone with similar experience? How have you gotten through it? What can we do in this instance? There is no Nigerian embassy in Oman.

This might require money but he/she needs to go to hospital so that a medical checkup can be done to show the maid was hit. then the doctor needs to write a letter to the Oman police service indicating the maid was dealth with severely.

the maid, would then proceed to the police station and report the case.. There the police would ask for medical proof, once shown, they would act on it.

your relative needs to stand on his ground and take this matter to the police even if one station cannot help, he just needs to proceed to another station until his voice his heard.

no employer or anybody has the right to confiscate anyone passport except the law and immigration. my passport is my identity.

It can work. about housing, I cannot help you on that. go back to the thread, read about places that are decent.. find the country's classified ad site like olx,find prices of their accommodation..

anybody reading this from here should keep in mind that Nigeria is very cheap and if and when going to a west African country most especially Ghana, Côte d ivoire, Burkina, you can make profit selling there..

as a first starter and you are not so sure of what you are going to do there, and maybe you do not want to be cash-trapped, buy phones( iPhone, big android phones), laptops, video games( ps2,3,4).. even if this is one, two or three hardwares you buy from Nigeria. This is good actually so that you can save yourself from carrying cash, changing money which you can run at a loss due to scams or the present value. etc... keep in mind that this hardware items bought would be sold at a good price there.

when you are there, go online, find their major classified ads website like olx, check out the pricing ,if you feel you can post ad, this would be good. or go to their major markets like oshodi, idumota .. when you are there, ask and see whom you can sell your items quickly to, you will still make a profit compared to the price you bought it in Nigeria or try to sell it yourself physically.

now, after such sales , this would give you insight of how business can be run, what are the things you can do to sell big...

note: this is for guys or girls who don't know what to do when travelling to d countries I mentioned above.

from the beginning of the thread, people talk about things been expensive.. someone said something about coke been expensive there.. you can actually buy plastic coke or can coke in Nigeria or Togo and transport there.. just do your calculations well, nobody will show you the way unless you think smart..

Ghana provides basic standard of living which Nigeria does not such as light,water, security but I will not lie to you, you pay serious cost for it in other to enjoy the system. Doing business can be easy as you don't need pay too much though as a foreigner, there is a huge cost you need to pay when registering your business.
