It's all part of the devil's plan. Destroy the family unit, destroy the love between man and woman, destroy mankind. |
MYTH: women mean 'yes' when they say 'no'As for this, I have lost not one or two but three relationships because I acted like a gentleman and took the lady for her word when she said 'no'. Ladies have a way of 'fronting' and saying no when they really mean yes. I don't know where they learnt it from, and I was falling prey for this trick until the second and third one told me months later that when I made a move on them and they said no and I stopped...they were disappointed! A lady is supposed to show some resistance, they edplained, so the guy doesn't see them as cheap. Silly me, once they said no I respected thier choice and moved on to other things, not knowing what they really meant was 'keep going'! Ladies cant keep eating their cake and having it. It is either they chose one thing or the other and stop confusing us guys! |
Why do we like deceiving ourselves? The Whiteman comes and brainwashes us and just because the link or source is from the Whiteman then it must be true? Even when we see the situation with our two nak£d eyes and our brains tell us the truth, it is whatever the Whiteman tells us that we start following like zombies? Damn. Oyibo people really did a number on the black race. MYTH: there is a misconception that rape is provoked by the victim and that a woman can ask to be raped wearing provocative clothing, letting a man pay her way or going to his home MYTH: only beautiful women in mini skirts are raped |

philfearon:What I am interested in though is you showing me where else you have seen my explanation since you said I just said what any other christian would say. I AM VERY SURE I taught you a new thing in this thread but you are TOO PROUD to admit it. Secondly it wasn't the op's first question. It was the 14th question. And I sort of answered other questions in the process. The good news is ... Anyone who isn't biased will see the answers I gave and will be able to connect the dots. But not you. You are determined to prove me wrong, so you wont see an answer even if its right in front of you. Good luck. |
^^^ I took time out to explain the whole thing for you, used up almost an entire page and your end answer was you don't believe in Eden. So why should I bother with the rest. You think I am looking for an escape route so I decided to humour you and stick around and at the end of the day the discussion was fruitless. Believe whatever you want to believe. Say whatever you want to say to make yourself feel good. Have the last word. I'm not humouring you anymore. |
philfearon:What's the point? You won't accept any of the answers anyway. |

There isn't one creation story but TWO. These two are not one story told in two different ways but two Separate stories, one happening AFTER the other! Its as simple as ABC. Even if we want to wade into the mess of Gen 1:1 and 1:2 , it still shows that Adam wasn't the first man in the world and that there were many settlements beyond the borders of Eden which is where Cain got his wife. |
philfearon:I want to believe you didn't read my last post. |
philfearon:Oh and by the way, the reason you think there is a discrepancy is because you and a host of other folk interpreted it wrongly. It's a straightforward story which I will try and explain again in a nutshell for correctness sake. The FIRST Creation account is the creation of the world. The so called SECOND creation account is the creation of Eden. Gen 1:1 and Gen 1:2 do not come into play here at all. That issue does not concern you as a human being neither does it concern your salvation if you want it. Just take time out and Read from Gen 1:27, down to Gen 2. Realise that God had finished creating the world and all that was in it before he paid special attention to placing a man in the garden of Eden and animals for him to name and dominate. Adam wasn't the first man, but Adam represented mankind in that he was specially made and cared for by God. I don't think I can explain it more than this. |
philfearon:Once again, you have chosen to not see what I wrote. I never spoke on Gen 1:1 and 1:2. I spoke on Gen 1:27 and Gen 2:8. You are the one that brought up Gen1:1 and 1:2 of which I said it doesn't concern man. You see if you continue with the mindset that you know it all you wont be able to learn anything new. Read my Cain answer again. |
I see you frank317. Good morning sir. |
philfearon:That would console you wouldn't it? The feeling that no one has answers to your questions increases your faith that your belief in nothing is right? Lol. I told you earlier bro. I am not one of those christians crying on my knees for your repentance or whatever. If after all this posts you cannot find the question I answered where you yourself said i research a lot, then it shows you have selectively chosen to be blinded to truth. And the only thing that can help you in such a situation is a supernatural experience. And that isn't my department anymore. Adios amigo. |
philfearon:Seriously? How did our discourse begin? Na wa for you o. |
philfearon:You are right. It doesn't matter. 2ndly, our initial discourse was for me to answer one of the op's questions which I did. Then you moved to another topic. Then another. You will continue like this till you come to an argument I can't "answer" (in quote) before you are satisfied. Please note I am not here to convince you about Christianity. I'm not a 'pentecostal'. I simply saw the falsity of the op's letter and decided to address it. |
philfearon:You are jumping from one point to the other now. But what makes you think the history you read isn't the concocted one? |
philfearon:Lol. You would be referring to new age christians there. It is not for nothing the bible says 'The Fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom'. Having said that, let's clarify a few things. God cannot murder. Murder is a sin because you take the life of somebody else. You are essential stealing that person's life and future by cutting it short. You cannot steal what is originally yours. God is the origin of all life. All life belongs to him. He can take it whenever and whichever way he chooses. This might be hard for some to digest but there it is. So if he chooses to take a life right now all you can say is 'The lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.' That is why he is The Lord Great and Terrible. And yes He is the same God today which is why demons tremble at his feet. Modernism tries to paint God as a kind meek and gentle old man who wouldn't hurt a fly. Wrong picture. Very wrong. However God is also Just and Kind, Dedicated and Faithful. If he makes you a promise he will do all in His power to keep it, like I said in another thread, His word is law. When he promised the children of Israel that he would lead them to the promised land, his word became law. There was no wy the children of Israel wouldn't get there. In the process, God was going to mete out justice on the inhabitants of that land. We don't know what they did but it was enough for God to wipe them off the face of the Earth. Rumours had it that these civilizations engaged in idolatory, child sacrifices, horrifying sexuaI orgies , witchcraft etc etc. And the Earth would cry out to God and God would find a way to cleanse the place. That was the way of the world then. Even when the Israelites strayed away and commited same atrocities, because God is Just, he dealt the same way with them. We may find it horrifying but that was the way of the world then. In the new testament in which we are in, Jesus stays God's hand. This is an age of 'permittance' in that God allows us do whatever we like however we like, all on borrowed time. Jesus has shed his blood for mankind and it is this sacrifice that stay's God's hand. Jesus comes with a different approach...God's compassion and love without the fire and brimstone...all with the hope that man will listen this one last time before the end of this world. |
Dapo777:Once again, you have to learn to differentiate free will from circumstance. You didn't ask to be born did you? But here you are. That's circumstance. Are you going to spend the rest of your life crying over your predicament or do something about it? That's free will. Why are you making only negative assumptions about the woman? So that you can support GOD,Why are you trying so hard to make the woman out to be a helpless victim? So you can paint God as a callous bystander? Tit for tat my friend. Which is you,why can't I use an information I got online if I find sense in it? It's made by a white man doesnt mean it can't make sense, are you a racist? There is a lot of sense in that video and it should serve as an eye opener for those who aren't deep in the pit of self deceit, making yourself subconsciously believe what your instinct knows isn't true.Well, I watched all those videos a long time ago when i thought I was seeking knowledge. They are not new to me. Even the silly one where they try and prove that God wanted Adam to eat the forbidden fruit. I have seen it all and seen the deception in them over time. So it amuses me when people find it for the first time and think they have seen something no one else has seen. My point still remains, what if that woman hasn't done anything to deserve the beating,a lot of things like that happen on earth, that analogy was just an example, what about the aluu? Those men that got killed innocently, would you in your right mind say that it was their freewill that got them killed? And the young men in Jesus time who the walls of the temple fell upon, did they deserve it? Was it freewill that sent them to such a horrid fate? The aluu4 is still a sensitive topic so I'd rather not be dragged into it thank you very much. Suffice to say I know one or two people who gave me first hand info on the matter and lets leave it at that. Lets use instead the beheading of innocent christians in the middle east, does anyone deserve such a horrifying death? Moreso an innocent person? Or a youth Corper I met a while ago who lost her virginity to thieves? Is there suffering in this world? Yes there is. Why does God allow this suffering to happen? I don't know. Are there true life stories of people who forgave the killers of their children? Yes there are. Are there true life stories of women who forgave men that raped them and even inspired great things because of their selflessness? Yes there are. Can pain and suffering lead to further suffering? Yes it can. Can pain and suffering lead to forgiveness, great compassion and love? Yes it can. And the outcome of all of this is dependent on free will. |
@op see logic ![]() You have effectively placed yourself into a box where anyone who disagrees with your views is 'god' ![]() Did you ever consider that maybe that analogy wouldn't work if it was the male that asked the female out? We all know males handle rejection better than females when it comes to such things. Could it be possible that Anthony could have asked Theresa out and when Theresa said no for whatever reason Anthony could simply pick himself up, dust himself off and walk away? So all christians are females suffering from rejection? Pls someone should help me with a laughing gif!!! Hahahahhahahahahahahaahahahaa!!!! |
Also, many of you think that once mosquito bites you then God must be to blame or God must protect each and every christian nd child of God from every bodily harm. This is a wrong and false belief being perpetrated by new age and Pentecostal churches of today. Read how Jesus' apostles and right hand men died. None of them died a nice death. Read also what Jesus said of the men who were killed when the wall fell on them. But perhaps that is a discussion for another thread. |
Dapo777:Lol, now you are running around in circles. You don't just pick something silly off the internet and expect that because it was made by a Whiteman then it must be smart. It wasn't a smart video at all really. Freewill is essentially the ability to choose . Whether right or wrong, action or inaction, silence or speech. This is freewill. It is different from curcumstance. You are in Nigeria not of your own free will but you can choose to be a corrupt politician or a decent one. The choice is yours. Lets assume the woman was a murderer going to use her child for ritual, what right has God to save her? Do you see how you cannot judge this case without knowing the whole story? |
Dapo777:You have subtly digressed from the topic. |
plaetton:But...you didn't understand what I said. I said u are already in your Aha moment...it's getting out of it that is the problem... Like I said...i knew you wouldn't understand... |
Dapo777:Lol! I don't know how God would answer but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't answer in the childish way you tried to portray in your example. |
philfearon:The occurrences that took place between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 are no concern to man, so it was not mentioned in the bible. What people need to understand is that the bible isn't God's diary...its mankind's manual. The bible doesn't capture the full essence or power or ability or mind of God. The bible is a guidebook to give you an idea of who God is and how you as a member of the human race can attain eternal life. |
Dapo777:Lol! Yes indeedha! I am 5minsmadness at your serviceha! But it still doesn't take away the fact that we will all suffer for the choices we make. It was her freewill to go out late at night despite the dangers. Neither you or I know the entire scenario and circumstances under which she was being beaten so violently. She could have been an innocent victim. But then again she could have been a murderer herself. |
plaetton:You got it all wrong bro. Its not important to me. I have my own issues to deal with. I was just pointing out to you that...like most men...when you reach a certain age and gain a particular amount of 'knowledge' , you begin to think you know it all. You have what I'd like to call an 'Aha!' moment. Like you just came to a realisation of something that you feel most other people don't know and you hold dear to it for a period of time until a situation comes and blows whatever it is you believe out of the water. Some people's Aha moment lasts years, decades even. Then one day they come to realise that life isn't just about what you see or hear or smell...but what you feel as well. All this will most probably be mumbo-jumbo to you now. Just keep it at the back of your mind for reference when your 'Aha' moment expires. |
plaetton:Per your first paragraph. You sound like an adolescent sounds when his hormones are raging and he thinks no one else in the world sees things the way he does, feels the way he does, no one understands him. And so when adults talk he rebels. But don't worry. Strangely enough I honestly feel you will find your way back eventually. As per your second paragraph. Christmas, Christ-mas. Even the season is named after Jesus Christ. This Christmas season is definitely more about Christ than Santa. But you already know that, just looking for a way to yank my chain. |
EfemenaXY: Faints |
plaetton:***peeks head in**** Like you said...children. Not adults. You cant compare Santa Claus with Jesus Christ. And if its any consolation to you...a lot of children have stopped believing. Hurrah for science. ***slips out again*** |
