Father Ejike Mbaka, the co-ordinator of Adoration Ministries in Enugu State, has said that some former Nigerian prisoners, such as Orji Uzor Kalu, have been successful and obtained special divine favour.
IGBERE TV reports that Father Mbaka said this as he resumed his Adoration Prayer, which was stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic, Thursday, 29th of July.
The date also coincides with the 25th anniversary of his priestly ordination.
Without elaborating, he said that many Nigerian prisoners had done well and some of them had become kings.
He said that Orji Uzor Kalu had sent him felicitations message in celebration of his (Mbaka) 25th priesthood anniversary, and said that Kalu's imprisonment will bring him and Nigeria good fortunes.
He used former Nigerian rulers such as Olusegun Obasanjo, President Muhammadu Buhari and the biblical Joseph as examples, and concluded that imprisonment was one way to make a king.

Governor David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi State has sacked over 1,800 of his aides over what he described as "nonchalant attitudes of his appointees in Executive Assistants, Senior Technical Assistant and Technical Assistants".
IGBERE TV reports that Umahi made this known when he signed into law, the Ebonyi State 2020 Revised Budget of 132billion in a virtual ceremony with stakeholders physically present at the Ecumenical Centre Abakaliki.
Governor Umahi who approved the dissolution of the 3 categories of appointees said the sack is effective from 1st August, 2020.
He, however, urged those interested in rendering services to the state government in their capabilities to reapply after their dissolutions which will be subject to approval by the Ministries, Departments and Agencies where they wish to serve.
The governor further said that if you are reapplying and you have no agricultural farm, then, you need not apply as applicants must show where they are farming because the state government is doing everything possible to turn the minds of Ebonyians from appointment position to business minds.
"If you are reapplying, you must explain what you did before, show where your farm is and be sponsored by either Commissioners, SAs, SSAs, Boards and Commissions.", he added.
During the event, the Governor also noted that the budget had passed through various processes, starting with the citizens' budgets for the inclusion of omitted areas and necessary inputs.

A Nigerian business entrepreneur, Nneka Ede, has purchased Portuguese third division club Lusitano Ginasio Clube for an undisclosed fee.
Ede is now the first African woman to own an European football club. According to a statement on Thursday, Ede has secured 100 percent ownership of Lusitano Ginasio Clube founded in 1911.
The 108-years-old club last played in the Portuguese top-flight division in the 1950’s.
The statement from the club read: “After months of negotiations with different entities, an agreement has been reached with Mrs Nneka Ede, a sports enthusiast and entrepreneur from Nigeria, a country filled with people as passionate and fiery about football as us and which incidentally share the same green and white in their flags, towards the transfer of the ownership of the SAD to the latter that will help us in our mission to take Lusitano to the next level.”
Speaking after acquiring the club Ede said: “I am excited about this opportunity and I hope that this new chapter will deepen the already great sporting relation between Nigeria and Portugal,” she said.

Lusitano Ginasio Clube were crowned Portuguese second division champion in the 1951-1952 league season.
