bruv am not here to make enemies ooo,bt do u ow many people hav lost there life in the north due to renewed boko haram assault.do u no its almost 5 month, and little skul kids hav not yet to eat free lunch,do u no he has not started to pay any youth d 5k he promised.do u no there ar now cues in petrol stations bruv d list ar endless.bt make God help buhari sha.bt I neva voted for him b4 sha.
Out of everything you mentioned, it is only the Boko Haram issue that interests me, the rest are vague campaign promises which politicians make all the time during campaigns. The petrol queues are caused by filling station owners who want to make a profit because they don't want to sell their inventory at the reduced price. Like I said no one is happy with the sluggishness of things especially on the Boko Haram issue, hopefully he can turn things around soon!

oga, please may i knw your work? maybe you are coming form London, from new york , from Germany , from Spain from hongkong..which electricity has got better..lets agree it is better...so how what exactly did your pMb did to ensure it works? it is not even better .....go to warri, portharcourt, yenagoa, jos etc and see if you can get light foir even 4 hours a day
my broda, i lke PMb for the fact that he appears sincere but the truth is he is doing nothing tangible! period. if we don't let him know he will think we are ok with his non performance
our economy is almost in recession....do u know how many people are sacked daily? i can go on and on....how many new companies have come in or established since he took over? maybe you are not living in nigeria
It's not by gra gra or by shouting! Show me evidence that things have gotten worse under Buhari. I agree with you that he is not performing up to the level we expected but he's certainly not performing worse than the previous administration. I was in Lagos some months back and electricity has definitely gotten better, I went to Ibadan and visited other States like Edo and Delta, electricity is not stable yet but it is improving. You mentioned the economy but didn't offer any proof, show me that the economy has gotten worse when we compare January 2015 to now. I understand we want things better, I for one am very disappointed by the sluggishness but to say Buhari is dragging the economy down is nothing but a blatant lie!
Politics › Re: APC Activist Omojuwa Criticises Buhari Government. by abbey621(m): 3:01pm On Oct 26, 2015
I agree this administration is slacking and should work harder and faster towards turning things around but let me ask one thing: Apart from the Boko Haram menace, what other things have gotten worse since Buhari was elected? Is electricity better or worse? the Naira? the economy as a whole? It's okay to criticize but let's not do so blindly. If anyone has proof that overall things are much worse than the GEJ administration then let's hear it; if not then instead of blind criticism let's encourage the present administration to do better and hope for the best.

I can't help but laugh, this is nothing but a museum in Virginia and yet our Igbo brothers and sisters see it as a great achievement. Maybe recognition from the Whites boost some of y'all self esteem but let's not get too carried away. It's great the Whites are taking interest in African culture but history will always judge them as slave masters. This is an excerpt taken from the director from the museum:

Historians say the Igbo (pronounced E-bo) were the most common African ethnic group in Virginia in the 19th century, and many made their way into the Virginia wilderness as slaves.

By interpreting the life of the Igbo, the museum hopes to give pre-colonial African history the same treatment as it gives English and German settlements of the same period, Executive Director John Avoli said.
I hope everyone here can read clearly and understand the significance of the bolded quote!

bro am not here to quarrel with you..
not that there re no hausa on nairaland but how many re they?
How can you give me ten ? And in that ten figures only 4 maybe commenting on nairaland.
Ten is too small bro.. I thought you will mentioned 100..
So you expect me to know at least 100 of them on Nairaland, funny guy! If I counted all the people I've ever communicated with on Nairaland, I doubt they'll be more than 200 yet you expect 100 Hausa natives out of them huh huh Anyways stop your aggressive nature towards the other tribes and they'll stop feeling hatred towards you....simple as ABC!

It s well though.

mandax:
But tribalism and hatred are the foundation stones of Nigeria.

Tribalism and hatred are the reasons why Nigeria was politically restructured by northern soldiers to having once one northern Nigeria region now get a whooping number of twenty federating units - 19 states and Abuja - at the expense of two southern Nigeria regions given a meagre 17 states. Through foul use of land mass as criterion for creating new federating units, the north of Nigeria now lords it politically over the south. Wake up and smell the coffee.
You are still spewing grammatical jargon instead of making sense! What has the marginalization of the South got to do with you supporting tribalism? Should hate beget hate? When will the cycle stop? Is this what you want to pass on to the future generation!

Politics › Re: States Internally Generated Revenue: See How Much Your State Generates. by abbey621(m): 10:34pm On Oct 25, 2015
From page 1 all the way to the current page, all I see is tribalism. 70% of those comments comes from individuals still being fed or those without a job. What has being a Yoruba person done for you? What has being an Igbo or Hausa person done for you? Hatred and tribalism will not get you anywhere in life, the rich and wealthy knows this; that is why Dangote, Adenuga, Kalu and Dozie will accept any opportunity to make a profit regardless of if the business is coming from an Hausa, Yoruba or Igbo person. Why is it those with little or small assets the ones always treading the tribal path? No wonder the rich keeps getting rich and the poor are getting poorer. Make una use na brain for once and stop the bullsh*t!

Its so pathetic and demoralizing that we leave in a country where certificate is the most sort after by our indigenous firms and even foreign
Your grammar sucks! I have to be frank with you, why are you behaving like the world is ending? What do you want those graduates with third class to do? Believe me when I say it's not about the degree but what you end up doing with it. You graduated with 2.2, so what? What have you been doing since? Does your line of study have professional designations and have you gotten certified? Have you considered an higher level degree? Many people here have given you great advice, from entrepreneurship to obtaining a graduate degree, your choice is endless. Get up, dust yourself up and like Nike "Just Do It"!
Politics › Re: What Is Wrong With The Nigerian Youth? by abbey621(m): 6:16pm On Oct 23, 2015
Let's go back to the genesis, relax your minds and let's focus on the basics.

1. Who are the youths? What exactly does it mean to be called a youth?
2. How old is Nigeria? A country of less than 60 years with less than half of it under democratic rule cannot and should not be compared to a country of over 100 to 150 years of democratic or non military rule!
3. Patriotism: No one wants to die, do you? We have little or no patriots in 9ja. It takes true patriotism to start a revolution not mouthing off on Nairaland. Unfortunately the love of money will 90% of the time overpower dying for your country. For example: the armed forces in the USA, most recruits join because they want to fight for their country but in 9ja most of our military consists of people who joined out of frustration or highly uneducated people.

4. Poverty! Poverty!! Poverty!!! An hungry man is a man that cannot think properly, a man frustrated beyond words and a man bound to make mistakes.

5. Upbringing: Nowadays we have parents with low morals bringing up children with even lower standards. The society is filled with criminals both white collar and blue collar. There's a saying which geos like this "You only know what you know", unfortunately for Nigerian youths we only know what we've been trained to know. If your parents instilled corruption on you, you are more likely to be corrupt. If your parents grew up blasting Nigeria, you are more likely to end up thinking negatively.

Now to the solution! It's simple my friends, the future is still in the hands of the youths but not in the way you think! A generation of youths is coming that will change the Nigerian economic situation forever. Most of them are either outside Nigeria now or have contacts outside. These generation of youths will end up taking over from the Dangote's the Adenugas and co. The people I am talking about will have so much money and influence that the government would be forced to listen to them, the old folks would have been long gone by then. No more Tinubu, no more Buhari no more Obasanjo, all dead and gone. This brings us back to the first question: Who or what are the youths? The youths I'm talking about will be in their 40s or the 50s by the time they make meaningful contribution to Nigeria hence the youths are really not that youthful. We should be focusing now on those in power, not looking at what's wrong with the youths of nowadays. Look at the Davidos, the Psquare, the Wizkids of this world and imagine youths with 10 times as much money as they have combined, that is the type of youths coming to develop Nigeria. It sounds crazy and farfetched but if you've seen what I've seen you wouldn't doubt it(Nigerians abroad make up 10 to 15% of the executives in fortune 500 companies). Nigeria's entrepreneurs are waiting outside its shores, waiting for the right time to invest and this can only mean good news for the future!
Politics › Re: Boko Haram Seizes Town On Cameroon-Nigeria Border by abbey621(m): 4:52pm On Oct 23, 2015
Here's a crazy idea: Bomb last here, bomb blast there, yet people keep living in the same area. 17,000 people killed in the North and yet they keep living there, something ain't right!

I think majority of the people in this country including political leaders are not interested in solving this Boko Haram crisis and quite frankly I don't believe it is a crisis rather a fabricated ploy to destabilize the minds of the people. What Nigeria needs is a revolution, not cheap political/military tactics aimed at scoring quick punches against the opponent. Till Boko Haram starts attacking the South and people keep perishing with everyday bomb blast like the North, till this happens majority of us won't take them seriously, till this happens we won't really pressurize our leaders to take action. As negative as it may sound, for now Boko Haram is just toying with us!

Not about our syllabus but the fact that we are not developing the educational system. Imagine a researcher taught by a lecturer that does not know the current trend in his field of study. How will he produce a productive student
It all starts from the syllabus. Even in advanced countries, the syllabus is supposed to be a guideline for each course. Without a complete and updated one, the lecturers can teach basically anything they want. Over here in the States, a professor can actually get in trouble for not going by the syllabus, this shows how much emphasis is placed on it. The syllabus for each course is reviewed every couple of years to ensure it meets present demand in terms of effectiveness
Career › Re: KPMG: My Temp Experience by abbey621(m): 5:58pm On Oct 22, 2015
You don't have to be a genius to work at KPMG, you just have to be enlightened. I've also done some temp. work for KPMG and they are fantastic! The company I work for presently hires temp. from KPMG all the time to fill some of our technical needs and most time these temps are just normal professionals trained properly. Our problem in Nigeria is that the universities are still using syllabus from 1970s and refuse to expose undergraduates to real world applications and/or technologies.

Career › Re: 5 Things You Need To Survive In The Real World As A Nigerian Graduate by abbey621(m): 5:13pm On Oct 21, 2015
This is not new information, it's the same information spun around differently. New graduates must be able to scan their environment, look for opportunities and exploit them. In Nigeria it's more about who you know more than what you know, so networking should be number 1. In Nigeria you don't really have to be skillful, your intelligence is not as important as your smartness. Your ability to convince people that you know more than you really know. Your ability to communicate is much more valuable than your degree. In an interview can you sell yourself? Are you a shark or do you crumble under pressure? Finally if you've not picked out any value in what you've read so far, I'll leave you with a gem. Not everyone is meant to work in an office, not everyone is meant to work under someone. Some of us are natural entrepreneurs, don't think because you spent so much on a university education that you must follow a laid out path in life. Relax, think and make your own path.......

Studies show that all men pass through some kind of erectile dysfunction once in a while but when it becomes the norm then it is time to seek help. When it comes to sexual performance our egos are easily bruised, this is why it takes a good and loving partner to help fix things. Encourage him to reduce sugar, prepare some herbal drinks for him(if he doesn't like the water kind, get him one with alcohol), use MouthAction as a stimulant(some men perform better after releasing once) and finally work on yourself, encourage him by trying different positions(Missionary is the worst, doggy is usually very fun or anything that involves standing. Even when he can't go for more than 2 minutes, encourage him by making sweet sounds, when you see him over excited, just calm him down by taking control, dictate the pace of the sex and trust me you'll have more fun!!!

Now is it just me or does it seem that most of the criticizers of PMB are does who never voted for him in the first place.
