Buhari has just confirmed his illiteracy for the world to see.

Management will eventually yield result in the absence of leadership.

But what the grand dullard does not know is that leadership is a catalyst in managerial affairs.

It is leadership that hastens the path of progress and result in any management structure.

Fool.
You are the bigger fool! What you just wrote is absolute hogwash! When it comes to politics, leadership is often quantified rather than qualified. Ministers represent the political piece, while Perm. Secs represent the administrative piece. If you bothered to comprehend what was written, you would have discovered what the president was trying to pass along deals with quality rather than quantity. For the past 16 years most Ministers were highly unqualified, how else do you explain Obanikoro as Minister of Defense? Let the president do his job and stop this your useless rhetoric!

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but the couple are in for a rocky ride! Firstly, how do you marry a woman that has never cooked for you? Mr. man which mouth did you use to tell your friend your wife does not cook for you? Aren't you ashamed? Seems most of the youths nowadays have lost their self-respect. Mr. man sit your wife down and lay down the law, this is not about being commanding but actually doing your duty as a man. It is your duty to guide your wife, let her know your feelings and how you want things done! You shouldn't be running to friends and families over issues such as this. To the woman, all I can say is thank God you married a jellybean, a softy, a 1/2 liver kind of guy. Most men would just start eating outside rather than complain, no one would teach you before you start cooking 3 square meals angry angry

If you don't live in America, you can't get a mortgage.
You again! Why do you always misyarn? Have you heard the term foreign investors? How about Foreign expats with children living in America? How about a co-signer? At least one of the Psquare brother is hooked with an American Citizen. Do you even know that you can be an American Citizen and not live in the USA? Do you know all that is required from Psquare is a valid visa, 30% of downpayment, secured source of income which is verifiable? You're asking me what do I know about mortgage? You're silly!

For security reasons, i won't post my marijuana card here because it has my name on it.
But here's a picture of a road side marijuana card issuing center at Venice Beach.
Can you read what's written on their sign post ??
Are you serious? You're showing me a skit from Jimmy Kimmel taken from Youtube, so damn funny. Show me your marijuana card, you can block your name and other sensitive info., I just need it and the name and/or address of the shop. I'm not trying to get you in trouble rather I'm trying to make a point that there's a difference between real and fake marijuana shops. If you patronize the fake shops and you get caught, you're heading to jail bro!

I can go to a drug dealer on the street & buy some weed, who regulates the number of purchases i can make per month ?? Obama ??
Stop abusing your stupidity.
Why do you keep fabricating lies? Under California law, possessing up to an ounce or less of marijuana is a civil infraction similar to a speeding ticket. Medical Marijuana on the other hand is legal but in order for you to get it you have to be certified. Show me your medical marijuana card that you got for $5 and the name of the place you got it, I can quickly tell you whether it's valid or you're just carrying around a fake certificate.

As big as Apple is they did a u-turn when Taylor Swift complained about the terms Apple Music was offering artists.
Artiste get paid directly from sales by Apple ITunes, they do not get paid by revenues from MTV or other media outlet. Basically Apple offers technology or a selling platform while MTV or Soundcity does not offer such. Apple cannot go to Taylor Swift and ask her to perform at their event for a discounted price, Apple cannot say it made Taylor Swift a star, or without them she would be nothing! I hope you are getting the picture here wink wink

At least since they've become stars, these guys had been promoting them, their works, brands, that they're established doesn't mean they need less promotions, I know of the video awards soundcity had awarded these guys, of course they deserve it, They didn't say, do the show free, but be considerate, because we're more or less partners, then what i think spoilt everything is that statement "WHAT HAVE YOU EVER DONE FOR PSQUARE" aba!
What you need to keep in mind is that you were not there, you don't know exactly what was said before the response. Jude is an educated man, he wouldn't just flare up without provocation. No matter what was said, for Soundcity to take down all their videos shows the mentality of a small company. Stars will be stars, they make their money one way or the other but for companies like Soundcity, the revenue stream is limited. I keep laughing at Soundcity because I keep picturing MTV or BET removing Beyoncé's videos because she was rude to them or refused to perform at their event, very funny people grin grin grin

Oh! because I spelt some words wrongly? Nice you're not arguing, end of discussion!
Oh not at all, anyone can make grammatical errors. What was funny is that you actually believe promotions are actually done free in Nigeria compared to other countries. Ask any upcoming artiste and they'll tell you how hard it is to get air time, in fact the stars get more air time because they are tested and trusted. I laughed because you got it backwards!

And Psquare are the only major artistes in Nigeria? Soundcity have done the right thing, the guys obviously don't value their input, why should they continue to air them? it's their tv and they can do what they like just as psquare as shown they can do.

You talk about international artistes, different places have different cultures, do you know what it takes into the promotion of these artistes before they become starts, but in Nigeria radio and tv shows promotes them free most times, it's a mutual relationship, but if you finally 'blow' as they say, then you acted as psquare did, it's what they call UNGRATEFUL.
I wanted to argue with you but after reading the bold part of your write up, I just laughed!

Alright, a mistake I would admit. But in any scenario you do not have any moral jsutification to intimidate/embarrass your biz partner
See my friend, we all don't know the full conversation between both groups. For all I know it could have been Soundcity saying we would offer you a small amount to perform at our event, do it for us as we have been your biggest promoter for the past 10 years. Jude could have replied that the price is too low, that he runs a business. Soundcity might have replied that considering all Soundcity has done to make Psquare what it is today, that Jude should agree. Jude hence replied, what exactly has Soundcity done for Psquare!

My friend, the scenario I painted for you above is very much possible and if I were in Jude's shoes I would have reacted exactly the same way. Like I said we don't know what really happened but Soundcity should have been more professional and realize business is business no personal attachment!

Your judgement is one-sided.

For you to know it, who complained?

Did Soundcity complain ?

It was PSquare that complained, meaning they were losing something in the process. If all the stations choose not to play their songs, it is a matter of time, they will die a natural death.

So, always have a balance judgement by weighing the two sides and juxtapose their grounds before judging.
Obviously you know nothing about business! We have opportunities and threats in business. Soundcity's refusal to play their songs is an opportunity for Trace TV and so on. The customer is always right but the philosophy does not apply in Nigeria apparently! Soundcity's customers are the fans and the artiste, their business cannot survive without it. Psquare never complained, it was the fans who were outraged that their videos are not being played on Soundcity and they had to explain. I can't help but laugh, do you think other stations are as dim-witted as Soundcity? Do you know more people in Nigeria listen via I-Tunes and Youtube than watch Soundcity? This should let you know the world is advancing beyond mediocre technology and the relevance of stations like Soundcity is gradually diminishing!

Doesn't mean you have to disrespect your business partner *publicly*
Please read carefully and tell me how were they disrespected publicly?

We invited #PSquare to one of our annual events last December 2014 and they insisted we pay a certain amount of money. We reasonably asked, what is the least we can offer?; this was us foregoing the fact that we had invested a lot in #PSquare’s career as music talents / artistes & entertainers.

The feedback was, “WHAT HAS SOUNDCITY EVER DONE FOR PSQUARE? TELL ME ONE THING SOUNDCITY HAS EVER DONE FOR PSQUARE” (Jude Okoye, Manager).
Celebrities › Re: Soundcity TV Replies Peter Okoye by abbey621(m): 3:15pm On Sep 10, 2015
Sounds to me like a business in deep waters. If a song is hot in the market, it is the job of entertainment stations such as Soundcity to give the fans what they want, how can you say you are doing Psquare a favor by playing their songs. Can MTV do Beyoncé a favor by playing her videos? Soundcity would be nowhere if they refused to play the major artiste, this is where the mutual benefits comes into play. Would Kanye West perform at an MTV concert without adequate compensation? Would Justin Timberlake perform at the SuperBowl without being paid adequately? I don't know why everything must be upside down in Nigeria!

Now now calm down folks! Before everyone jumps on the entrepreneurial train please keep in mind that over 60% of all start ups fail, the remaining 40% don't start making profit till after the second or third year. With this in mind, let's remember that the most crucial part of making it on your own is to have access to funds. Questions like how much can I put into the business? How do I get sponsors or loan? How do I market the product or service? It's better to plan very well than to start something and fold up halfway through the process! Quitting a job when you have no savings would not only be depressing but could have life-long consequences.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Top 6 Future Highest Paying Jobs In Nigeria by abbey621(m): 1:37pm On Sep 10, 2015
Highest paying jobs in the future will be Entrepreneurship! When I was about 6, my grandfather told me the best job is the one which you pay yourself. Looking at the Nigerian economic system, opportunities are wasted on a daily basis. Many of the jobs posted by the OP cannot make 500,000 Naira a month and yet they are called highest paying jobs. If you guys are still doubting whether Entrepreneurs would rule the future take a look at most of the big companies in Nigeria, how did they start out? An idea + a plan + funds = a company. Nigeria in the next 50 years is still going to have a high unemployment rate, it's not a curse but a statement of fact, we are producing more graduates than jobs. Entrepreneurs not only create products or services; they also create jobs. It's not an easy task but neither is money ritual( grin grin grin) but whatever is worth doing is worth doing well!
Romance › Re: Why Do Guys Go Blank When Asked This One Simple Question? by abbey621(m): 1:16pm On Sep 10, 2015
Why would guys keep silent on such a simple question? If a girl asks such a question, I would never tell the truth, in fact I would always downplay myself and say something like 50k or 70k, her reaction afterwards is what would determine if she ever knows the truth or not. Now that scenario is for a girl I just met. If it was someone tested and trusted, then such a question wouldn't bother me as I've already done my analysis on her and thinking more on the future than the present. Guys should be able to ask the females the same question; how much do you earn? The interesting thing here is most of them are jobless but would downgrade a guy making less than 70k a month grin grin grin grin
Career › Re: When Your Degree No Longer Guarantees Success! by abbey621(m): 1:44pm On Sep 09, 2015
Back in 2004 as a second year Computer Science student, I came across past graduates of the department still looking for work, even those with first class. I looked at our syllabus and realized most of the content were not applicable in the real world. The highest programming language learnt was C++ and JAVA was introduced as a mini course. I decided there and then that I would develop myself outside of the school. I started following a local computer repair guy, he taught me how to take apart a computer, upgrade it and put it back. He taught me about networking cables, software and so on., I liked it so much that I built my own personal computer from spare parts. I lost complete interest in schooling as the knowledge gained from the real world was far more valuable. I managed to graduate with a 2.2 and as God would have it relocated abroad. It was while abroad that I realized just how valuable the skills I've learnt really were. Suddenly I had access to plenty of recycled parts, I was able to drive on the streets and pick up abandoned laptops, computers, accessories and so on., I started fixing the laptops and selling them on Ebay, the unexpected income was more than enough to sponsor me for a second bachelor's degree and my MBA. The lesson here is that Nigerian education is nothing if you can't apply it in the real world. Just because you pay for education doesn't mean it will be valuable. Sometimes you must look beyond your comfort zone and explore as no knowledge is ever wasted!

Education › Re: An OAU Student's Project On Defeathering A Chicken. This Is An Awesome Invention by abbey621(m): 1:11pm On Sep 06, 2015
Nice invention but based on the outcome of my cost analysis it would be a failure due to a few things.

1: How much power does it consume? Nepa light or generator?

2: How is it cleaned or maintained? This invention would be most beneficial to companies such as KFC, Chicken Republic and so on. but if it can't process many units of chicken at a time then it is not efficient!

3:Since the chicken must be soaked in hot water before going into the machine, this creates additional work. Is there a way to incorporate hot water into the machine so as to make the process seamless?

Once again nice invention but this is 9ja and everything deals with cost!

Married women bleep their oga at work, no be today! So what exactly is your problem? Your co-worker bleeped your boss, your co-worker is in a relationship but not married, she's not dating you. So tell me why you are having headache over her issue? Don't you know most women are built around emotions, less than 1% of them are truly faithful and less than 50% of the 1% can be faithful without money. We men are known to be dogs that is why we like to put our women on a platter of gold because we expect them to be classy and more dignified than us but with the way things are going all over the world, women have lost their self-worth and only a selected few are truly worth the status of a queen!

No bro, age is not required on a CV! Most employers would never require age on a CV, it's just ridiculous! Now if you are talking about recruiters and recruiting companies then you might have a point. For example, any job advert that asks you to send your CV and also send an email is from the recruiter, in such instances they might require additional info. such as age and religion.

I agree with the creative section or even marketing or Artistic but I.T no way! Tobex4realTobex234:
Thanks Tyneol for sharing this:

The key to an effective CV is knowing your target audience.

To all those asking people not to put their personal information, note that some organisations REQUIRE such information as a prerequisite for selection.

Most Federal Government organisations recruit by Federal Character. Sometimes, new potential recruits have to be from certain states or regions to be eligible to apply. CBN had a recruitment specifically for Yobe, Zamfara, Bayelsa and one or two other states about two years ago. Don't think that organisations such as these will email you and ask you for your state of origin if you omit this information from your CV.

Same goes for DOB. Heard of age limits for certain job positions? KPMG for instance strictly abides by its '26 and under' recruitment policy for entry level hires.

So beware. Know who, what you're applying to and for, and adjust your CV accordingly
Keep in mind, a job application is different from a Resume or CV, on a job application, you fill out your personal info. but on a CV it's very unprofessional. For jobs were you submit a Resume or CV and no job application, a cover page is definitely a must! On a cover page you would include your intentions, personal info. and other things that might distinguish you from the rest of the applicants. We all know some jobs don't follow proper protocol but majority of jobs in Nigeria won't require you to put your religion, age and so on in your Resume.

Age, religion and other extremely personal information has no place on a Resume! This Resume might look visually enticing but is lacking professional quality. Skills/Objectives, Work Experience with Achievements and Education are the crucial elements of a quality Resume, the rest are just unnecessary distractions!

Yea OP might be misinformed but Nigerian work visa is very easy to get, as you should know almost everything in Nigeria deals with money, foreign corporations might not be willing to pay but it's an easy process for those willing to pay their way.
