Contekbbc:Ode, who talk say abroad no good....Abroad good, in fact abroad is very very sweet as long as you are responsible for yourself. Take care of your sh*t and don't depend on others. This ain't 9ja where you can afford to owe landlord a year's rent or live off of friends. Next time comprehend before typing rubbish, make thunder no strike your left yansh ![]() |
Jaapa if you wan jaapa, every man is entitled to pursue happiness but just don't ask me to help you with accomodation because you failed to bring enough funds or plan your journey! To be forewarned is to be forearmed! |
Perfectly balanced, as all things should be......If you have never tasted freshly pounded yam, may God forgive you!
|
Pakute:Some of them even said na Buhari cause Biafra and I just laugh, so that means the marginalization only started when Buhari became president, all the stuff Ojukwu fought for was just fairytale ![]() |
Golan007:You dey mind those tribal bigots? Deep inside they know what they want, if a Tinubu was Igbo, they would paint him as saint and use his achievements in Lagos to put him at legendary status. Want to know people with no credibility? They supported Atiku when he had Obi as his running mate but now that he does not, they see him as vermin, mehn what a 180 degree turn in just 3 years ![]() |
OriOko88:Yes I would have said the same, Nigeria's situation is critical right now, to hell with religion, screw tribe, I don't care if you are white, black, purple, idol worshipper, if yo uhave what it takes to turn the country around, I'm going to vote for you! |
You guys had a Christian president but killings still persisted, you had a Christian VP and killings increased, what difference would not having any make? A Christian VP that won't say a word or take action when Christians are being slaughtered is just as bad or even worse than a nonchalant Muslim VP. Misplaced priorities, that is the definition of most Nigerian voters, it is the reason why the right combination can never make it to the presidency rather we must accept combinations that makes no damn sesnse: A zoology professor and an architect, an old demented military man and a redeemed pastor with law background....... UNA NO DEY TIRE OF UNHOLY CONCOCTION? |
obynzo:Yes, that's why he needs to make deals and get it done, NNPP no dey go anywhere, if better deal is offered, Kwankwaso go jaapa, trust me Atiku is also thinking the same thing. |
humberjade: |
obynzo:He doesn't need to win the entire North, just keep it closer than people think. His best shot is Kano and neighboring states, all he needs to do is offer Kwankwaso the VP slot and that automatically puts him very close to Atiku. You are right, the North will decide who wins but don't underestimate Tinubu's willingness to do the unthinkable! |
If Tinubu wants to win he needs to start thinking outside the box, forget about the South and those saying Muslim-Muslim ticket cannot work. Focus on Kano, Katsina and other high populated Northern area, in fact if he can woo Kwankwaso, Rufai or even Masari by offering him the VP slot, it is a slam dunk! With Lagos, Kano and possibly Katsina in the bag, that's at least 7-8 million votes, E NI WO TAN! |
humberjade:Obasanjo dey contest for presidency? Abi which kind faulty reasoning be this? . Seriously, Obasanjo's relevance in Nigerian politics today is as useful as the P in psychology, even in his home state, he's not the most powerful figure. Now on to your next point, what do you mean by lowest? See I am a man of data, in fact it is what I do for a living. APC has only been in existence for 2 presidential elections, 2015 and 2019. So ideally the only reference point is comparing 2019 to 2015, not much of a sample size considering Buhari did woefully from 2015-1019 and the initial hope that drove everyone to the polls in 2015 was no longer there in 2019. In fact voter turnout declined from around 56% to about 37%.. It was not an APC problem but a general absence from voting problem especially in Lagos, a place of about 6 million registered voters only delivering around 1.2 million votes. To your final point, stop repeating such jargon, there was never any relief. See Nairaland has archives, you can scroll topics from around that time and see whether people were lamenting about poor electricity, poor roads, high unemployment and even killings or rejoicing at good governance. The evidence is there if you can just do a bit of research. Please stop repeating such a fallacy, please! |
obynzo:This is why he did not confront them now, wait till he becomes president, then we can know what he can and what he can't do. Remember Tinubu was an understudy of MKO and he don dey this game no be today. |
Nazgul:None of your points made speaks the whole truth, the house rent that you complain about now, what were you paying before? Now compare it to what your father paid at his time, you can see the constant factor in real estate in Nigeria is INCREASE IN PRICE! Next, you claim the price of yam, beans is more expensive even tho it is grown in Nigeria but did you factor in the fertilizer used to grow them? The cost of human labor and the lack fo competition? It's like saying Nigeria is rich with oil but there's no need to have functioning refineries, the result is ofutufete, VANITY! Finally, let's remove Buhari, let's focus on GEJ, do you mean these things were not present during his reign? Yes Buhari has magnified the issues times 10 but let's not forget the combined effect of bad leadership over the years. The desperation for change from PDP's bad leadership gave us Buhari, the same desperation now is askin us to consider a serial politician who is 75 years old with no plan other than to get revenge for how he was cheated out of the presidency by Obasanjo(Buhari 2.0). The same desperation is asking us to consider a Peter Obi with no experience at the national level, no known history of being able to take on cabals or religious leaders bent on clipping his wings. The same desperation is asking us to consider a Jagaban that we know for sure will loot the treasury but will also open up the economy to new investments and opportunities like never seen before, a Jagaban that is sure to cause trouble with the cabals but might not survive the reign due to his health. Make no mistake, it is not an easy task! Most of una talk a good game online but don't know what it takes to truly save Nigeria, most of una don't know how deep this sh*t goes and unless we keep an open mind and consider each candidate based on their manifesto, their portfolios and resolve, unless we do this, we are all falling into another trap like 2015! Forget religion, forget health, forget tribe, who can take on the cabals and win without destroying Nigeria? This is the question we should all be asking! |
humberjade:So you prefer he goes on a rant causing religious and ethnic clashes to magnify, causing the coutnry to go into a state of emergency? There are other ways to support Yorubaland than bringing the country into chaos like Sunday or Kanu almost did. Ametokun is one way, have you ever asked yourself who finances such groups? 9ja politics no be for kids o, if Tinubu had made such a mistake it would have been equivalent to war, if lives were lost as a result, it would be easy to accuse him of treason and then what's the point? Yoruba saying goes, "Ti owo omode o ba ti te eku ida, ko le bere iku to pa baba e"....When a man has hardly laid his hands on the handle of a sword, it is foolhardy to ask for the kind of death which killed his father... P.S. Point of correction, Nigerians have never been happy with APC government, DA PA DA, DON'T SAY SUCH AGAIN! |
frog12:You dey read but can't comprehend, you asked what did he achieve and I gave you one example. Stop being mischievous! |
humberjade:The problem with many Nigerians is we want to reach heaven but don't want to die. Think about it, we all know the obstacles, we all know the cabals, the religious and ethnic bigots that stands in the way of anyone wanting positive change for Nigeria. I even gave you examples in Nigerian history of how people got things done. You yourself just confirmed that Osibanjo was silenced, now ask yourself who is likely to get things done out of Tinubu, Obi or Atiku. Who is likely not to be silenced by cabals, ethnic and religious bigots? Who has the most international connections and ability to attract investors? Who is likely to pull technorats with vast level of experience from all sectors? I pride myself on one thing, I do not fanatasize, I do not delude myself that a gentleman can save Nigeria. Nigeria right now is the lion's mouth, one must be fearless enough to pry its mouth open and expose the goodies! I do not believe a Fulani can do this, I also do not believe a soft man wiht no experience of dealing with the cabals can do this. Good or bad, we need a man of action, a man feared both in the North and the South.......THIS IS JUST MY OPINION, EVERYONE IS FREE TO DO AS THEY DEEM FIT! |
You negroes are funny, if you like move to the pearly gates of heaven, as you lay your bed na so you go lie on it! If you like go abroad no work, come dey expect freshness, wahlahi na under bridge you go end up las las . The problem with Nigeria is gigantic but make una no deceive una sef, people in 9ja wey sabi way dey enjoy pass even surgeons and doctors for obodo America. Anywhere we are make favor located us.....Amen! |
frog12:Gowon was ousted because after Gowon got his revenge on the Igbos, he had no real plan for the country(Same way Buhari did in 2015), Murtala ousted Gowon due to this, Murtala tried to implement a series of executive orders aimed at revamping the public sector especially civil servants who were ineffective/ghost workers. People that were supposed to be working for the Nigerian public were often lazy, ineffective, nonchalant, he dismissed over 10,000 of them. If that man had time, he would have revamped Nigeria completely, oh by the way he was only in his thirties. |
humberjade:So you agree that technorats are not suitable for the Nigerian political system because even if you had a supportive president, you must still navigate the cabals, the Senate & House members, religious and tribal factions. This is why I laugh at those supporting Osibanjo and Obi, this present Nigeria requires a mean ass businessman, a shrewd negotiator and someone not afraid to make enemies. Think about it, if you're old enough to remember, a certain general named Murtala was killed because he decided to do things with immediate effect, he saw the direction the country was heading and wanted change immediately. Another example, the mean old Obasanjo who made it his mission to attract investors to Nigeria's communication sector when most of our politicians wanted Nitel. Even Tinubu is an example, we all know how he showed Obasanjo that Lagos is self sufficient and how he saw the opportunity and importance of developing Lekki. My point is simple, technorats without action are as useless as the P in psychology. Nigeria needs a visionary that is not a nice guy, an action man that will say f*ck this, this country will be great I don't care if I have to break some heads ![]() |
humberjade:A technorat that had 7 years to bring forth some kind of positive change but failed.....Mehn technorats nowadays don turn to jovial beings ![]() |
Defending his action, the managing partner of Antonio Lex Firma, Kelechi Agbasiere said his action was not a violation of his employees’ rights because it is his firm and he has the powers to set the rules as long as there is fairness.Do we even have labor laws in this country? You can sack them but witholding salary for work already performed? Even lawyers dey lawless.....SMH! |
Freebills12:Imagine such a sick old man still flooring your candidate, if he can convince una to vote for fragile old man not onced but twice, you really think he's not going to pull out all the stunts for himself....GBA GBE OSHI! Your hope is on Atiku because Obi is not even a factor, like I said relax, person wey we dey bring bride to no suppose to dey stretch neck ![]() |
Freebills12:LMAO....Excuses excuses, sit back and enjoy the show, wahlahi e ni wo tan!
|
Freebills12:Mumu you didn't learn the lesson well, so let me spell it out for you. Some fools dey buy delegates but why buy delegates when you can buy aspirants? There's levels to this sh*t my nigga, Jagaban just doing jagaban things ![]() |
Adexxi:Werey dey disguise, onikure, for here? ![]()
|
Adexxi:Excellent, your mama trained you well, Osinwin! |
Adexxi:So how many people were in the bus, 20? At most 40? I guess that's enough sample size to know what the entire population of Ibadan wants not to talk of Oyo or SW, you people are funny ![]() |
Freebills12:You've all said worse than that and if we were to go by all ye children of doom, Tinubu was aused up and would not even emerge as APC presidential candidate. All I know is that politics is about deals and alliances, while we play the guessing gqame on social media, don't forget the lesson Tinubu just unleashed, write him off at your own peril ![]() |
Adexxi:Na Lagos easy pass, don't think for one second that MC Oluomo's rise to more power is for any other thing than to make sure APC sweeps the day in Lagos. Forget am at least 60% of the votes in SW will go to APC Muslim or no Muslim. |
dataking:Truth hurts but you are welcome to wallow in ignorance! |
dataking:I come from a Muslim background so it is a dig on myself as well. Majority of Muslims especially in Northern Nigeria are bigots. Either actively or passively but the inherent religious bias is evident. In case you don't know what bigots means, here's the definition: a person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group. |
