Not yet but I guess it would have some taste of cassava in it? |
Op just pray that after the fight you'll be alive to rethink the whole thing. Some years ago in Lagos an Army officer lost his life when another man slapped his wife at an ATM point due to a minor disagreement that could have been resolved non-violently when he hit the man and a fight broke out between them which led to him losing his life. TRUE STORY |
Emesiri Omofuoma is an interesting person to interact with, upon meeting her you get a sense she is one of those unique people who are courageous enough to be authentic and true to their passions. A vibrant and youthful dancer, Omo as she’s more popularly known, has chosen to express and affirm her existence through the medium of dance. She describes her dance style as “contemporary African” which is a fusion of African dance steps with more common dance styles such as Ballet and Salsa to create a unique dance style. This might even include Hip-Hop and more contemporary dance steps to create the dance fusion she is known for. Omo says she’s into "Dance Ministry" which is the use of dance to tell compelling stories that will inspire and move people. Her inspiration to share or in her words "minister" dance to the people comes from a simple emotion; Happiness; “dance makes me feel ecstatic and joyful, just seeing people dance makes me feel happy.” For her, dance is not an occupation although she admits to getting paid to teach people dance steps but an undeniable passion, something she discovered in 2007 when she interpreted Lara George’s Ijoba Orun into a dance routine that made her audience react in awe. She had just discovered her life's calling to interpret songs and tell stories using dance routines. As a self-confessed 'Tom boy' a pair of trousers and flats are her go to fashion items. Despite her tough veneer Omo has a vulnerable back ground - upon the death of her mother at an early age, she had to become a mother to her siblings being the 2nd child in a family of 6 Children. This experience has contributed to Omo's resilience and motivation to suceed in her craft. For Omo Dance is not just about making steps and impressing people with what you can do on the dance floor it’s about letting them know you can pass across a message. “If your dance doesn’t make an emotional connection you haven’t ministered to your audience, it’s about being moved by the music, being happy keeping to the concept of the storyline”. With her strong interest for dance one would think she studied an art related course in university, but surprisingly Omo is a Geologist by training from the Delta State University in Abraka. She describes Abuja as an "eye-opening city” for new people just entering the city “you feel you know but you really don’t, the air and tranquility of Abuja makes it a lovely city”. Omo also challenges the thoughts of some people who believe that money is only available for a few powerful people as she disagrees stating “the city has money waiting to be made for anyone who is willing to chase after it”. Finally Omo’s message to Abuja folk is “be original in all you do, that’s all you need to make it” a simple but philosophical statement which drives home a point for those who are willing to learn the simple lessons that great men and women are made of. http://www.abujafood.com/people/spotlight-on/1074-emesiri-omofuomas-ministry-of-dance.html |

CFCfan: After some self abnegation and immolation, I have come to the conclusion that Senator Oluremi Tinubu is the best person to occupy the Lagos state Governor's seat, come May 29, 2015.Those are not valid enough reasons for her to contest. Can she deliver when she's given a chance? |
bin gbagbo:Mr man find your square root, what do you know about playing hard to get? Has a girl ever spilled the beans to you before? If so please share! |
@RuthIsaac, Thanks but besides making herself unavailable what else is she likely to do that can be termed hard to get? |
Goldieluks: You should learn to buy gifts you can afford. Do not waste your cash on buying expensive gifts for someone who doesn't appreciate it. Your gf is greedy. Make sure she gives you gift also. It shouldn't be a one way affair.Which kind greedy! She's not only greedy but ungrateful as well! |
The Poster above and the one below both need prayers! Inyanya come and clear your name! |
The question so far has been partially answered. What are some of the things ladies are likely to do when they're playing hard to get? I'm clear on one thing, the girl always gives you a green light but makes herself unavailable. So ladies pls add more I need to resolve this issue once and for all. |

Sometimes New years Resolutions are just not enough. What you need is something stronger, a revolutionizing document that will change your life. Think “Manifesto”. A Manifesto according to the ever handy Wikipedia “is a written public declaration of the intentions, motives, or views of the issuer.” Due to its public nature it is very difficult to conveniently pretend it doesn’t exist half way through the New Year. A Manifesto provides an opportunity for you to abide by an overriding directive written to inspire you and dictate the principles you will use to shape your life into a mold that you have always aspired to, bringing you closer to your dreams but more importantly to a more happier you. Manifesto's should be personal to your own life experience, below we share some key principles you should think about when constructing your own New Year Manifesto. Mind It all begins in the brain. The brain is the control tower that will get you to your dreams so it is important to keep your mind active and inspired. Read more books, listen to more music, start an educational program, learn a new language. The yearning to evolve into the best personification of you is something integral to human nature. We were born to nurture many different aspects of ourselves and it’s our responsibility to always be on a constant search for knowledge. Body We often devalue our bodies, subjecting it to heavy criticism and neglecting to nourish it with the proper care and love it needs. Our bodies belong to us completely and though we are only connected to our bodies for a transient period it deserves to be treated with only kindness. Eat beautiful things and let go of calorie counting and guilt, your body deserves to be fed with only the best most nourishing food as what you eat will permeate not only in your physical appearance but your mood and personality. Exercise more, not in a strenuous grueling way but routines that will create a soothing experience for your body through outdoor activities in the sunlight such as swimming or hiking. Soul Whatever your creed or belief system, connect to something that is un-tangible. Find your spirituality whether in the belief in something bigger than yourself or nurturing awe for the miracle of life and nature. Spend a few minutes meditating through out your day on the miraculous nature of your unique existence. Be more charitable, with your emotions, your words, your smile and even your purse strings. Friends ‘Quality over quantity’ this phrase fits perfectly within the concept of friendship. As each year passes you discover the true value of the people around you. Those who offer positivity and support tend to stick around longer than the negative ones. If you have many ‘friends’ around you, 2013 may just be the year to really scrutinize the kind of people around you and filter those who bring out the best in you from those who bring out the worst. Most of our happiest moments are with our friends, so use this New Year to value the friends you have and open yourself up to great new friendships. Family Your family is the first social interaction you ever encountered in your life. They taught you how to love, how to share, how to be kind, responsible and above all how to tolerate and live in peace and harmony with other people. Always carve out precious unforgettable moments with those you love most. Create new memories with your family. Invest in a family holiday somewhere exotic or have a fancy family dinner monthly or weekly. Prioritize your family, place them first above all else. Dreams Attaining your dreams is not impossible. Whether it’s that perfect job, marathon level fitness, or a life partner that you deserve. It all starts with you doing something little everyday that will contribute to your overall dream goal. The first step is to acknowledge and embody the confidence that you really do deserve to live your dream. This is a lot harder than it sounds as most of us have self esteem issues we need to work through. Once you start to really give your mind, body and soul the self care and nourishment it deserves, self-confidence should be easier to attain. The next step is becoming disciplined to achieve it. This is the hard part as it’s up to you to police yourself and have enough patience to stick to the plan. The line between dream and reality is very thin; it just takes a lot of self belief, courage and hard work to cross over. Above all be fearless! Here are some links to some inspiring Manifesto’s we stumbled upon, Enjoy! http://www.abujafood.com/people/be-inspired/1072-a-new-year-manifesto-for-a-happier-2013.html |

Facebook is Africa’s most visited website. This is a fact that individuals and local businesses are just beginning to grapple with. With over 17 million users across Africa, the social network has created an opportunity for businesses to connect with people in a closely knit and personal way. Africa has always been known as the “dark continent” when it comes to technology, yet the advent of social media has unleashed a torrent of information about the activities and thoughts of Africans in the most dynamic way. The sheer volume of content spewing out on various social media networks by Africans has shifted old ideas and myths about people on the continent, particularly myths about how Africans do business has been radically altered. Many Nigerian businesses, rather than creating a website have created a Facebook page which they use to easily communicate with their customers on the social site. Twitter through a mixture of up to date micro-blogging and updates, has also ferociously grown to be the social media hub of choice for many local businesses to network and connect to customers. The rapid use of Twitter, especially by young Nigerians has paved the way for a new form of digital social communication that simply put has revolutionized the way Nigerians interact with each other and share content.
