It is reported that 2 cars are stolen daily in Abuja and this trend is becoming worrying even now that car thieves are adopting different measures! If you're in Abuja or Nigeria as a whole read on: On average two cars are reported stolen everyday in Abuja around busy shopping malls within the metropolis. You maybe surprised to hear this but even with the heavy security at the Nigerian National Assembly, three cars are reported stolen every week from their car parks. |

1. There's just a piece of meat left on your plate, who get's it? 2. Your spouse is terminally ill and the only way to save her is to give up all your possessions including your house would you do it? 3. As a man you're being seduced by a hot beauty who wants to get down with you, then you remember you have a GF/wife, would you allow one moment of pleasure pass you by or prefer to betray her trust? 4. Your neighbour who's much stronger than you slaps your wife/gf in your presence. What do you do? 5. As a lady you witness another woman hitting on your man and your man is enjoying the whole thing, how do deal with it? Other ideas pls, to prove how much you love your partner! |
This na stale news now since last week. Besides Poju Oyemade has appologised to her so which one come be this headline? Are you trying to start another Drama? |
Uduaghan sounds very silly when he talks like this! Now that you've made it known to the kidnappers that they'll be caught within 24 hours what do you think they'll do to avoid arrest or they'll just wait for police to just arrest them and return Prof. Okonjo in one piece? Hate to say this but this Governor is talking like someone who's not well informed! |
These dating tips don't always work because people are different. Because it worked for one lady doesn't mean it I'll work well for others. My advise remains follow your heart but even that is not a guarantee that u'll get what u want. |
rokiatu: Damn mannhh are u a robot? You this babe, you have been gallivanting all over this thread, it's a men only thread! Just watch from the sidelines! |
olugirl: I would rather work hard and make my own money and remain single rather than have to decide between a rich or poor man solely on monetary basis and not love.I agree partially with you! What's meat to one man may be poison to another! You may find this topic repulsive but you have to admit that it's thought provoking and therefore interesting to other people. Down Here in Nigeria it's a sad reality, a woman abandons her husband when things become really hard may be after his business fails or he loses his job. How about a poor man remaining unmarried because girls are too scared to face hardship. No one is stereotyping ladies just presenting a hypothetical situation in order to gain insights! |
ceejay80s: Answer to question is If i found a big ghana must go bag filled with 15 million naira, i go dey cry and at same time, put am for shoulderO boy you know well o! Hahahaha! Very funny! |
Abuja was once reknown for its smooth and relatively traffic free highways. It was even crowned by many residents and visitors as having the best roads in Nigeria. Yet, all is not picture perfect on the roads of the Federal Capital Territory. One statistic shatters any fantasy of Abuja driving Utopia; Abuja has the highest number of road crashes recorded in Nigeria. Strange indeed given that in times past many would blame the bad state of the roads for road crashes. Nowadays Abuja drivers are proving the popular phrase right; Accidents don’t happen, they’re caused. Driving in Abuja can either be a pleasant if you’re simply navigating your way through one of the quiet highbrow Abuja districts or exclusive gated estates. More often than not, driving in Abuja can quickly turn nightmarish on a hot afternoon during rush hours with Keke Napep's and green cabs jostling around you breaking any traffic rules they can remember. In certain parts of the city, for example around the notoriously rowdy Wuse Market driving can be cruel and painful torture on a weekday. The reckless and selfish attitude of commercial bus drivers who deliberately take up a sizeable part of the road while trying to get more passengers is a major source of frustration for private vehicle owners. The presence of traffic police, who simply watch in an uninterested and bored manner, doesn’t do much to alleviate the situation. Causes of Vehicular Traffic Congestion in Abuja Traffic congestion has many causes, but it is mostly due to increasing numbers of vehicles on the roads, poor traffic control via traffic lights or traffic attendants, poor state of walk ways and roads. Other times, the problem of traffic is due to high number of commuters on the roads during rush hours. Most people who work in Abuja live on the outskirts of the city in places like Gwarinpa, Kado, Kubwa, and Lugbe or in towns in neighboring states such as Suleja, Nyanya, Maraba and so on. This presents a challenge for the road safety officials and people involved in managing road traffic as the bulk of Abuja’s working class drive in and out of the city at peak periods, the early morning rush into the city and evening commute out of the city. Road and Driving Hazards in Abuja It is on record that Abuja has the highest number of road accidents despite also suprisingly having the best roads in the country. It is a known fact that Abuja drivers can be reckless by over-speeding on the roads. Pedestrians who have to cross the lanes of the ever risky highways have to be careful especially at nights when the street lights may not be working. Many victims have been killed or injured by reckless Abuja drivers. Most people blame distracted and uncaring taxi drivers for causing of numerous road crashes over the years. Many cars have been bashed or scratched due to reckless driving. You’d be surprised that even at traffic light stops some people still behave as if waiting for the green light is a sin. You may be surprised to know that many drivers don’t know traffic laws nor do they understand highway codes. Traffic law enforcement agents who are tasked with the role of sensitising motorists rarely go beyond unconstructive road-side bullying. With the population of Abuja increasing rapidly, more sophisticated strategies need to be enforced to prevent road accidents. For example, drivers should be made to aquire drivers licenses by undergoing accredited driving tests. For now, it seems the hazards posed by reckless Abuja drivers isn't going to abate anytime soon. http://www.abujafood.com/news-digest/abuja-opinions/1035-our-2kobos-abuja-driving-roads-and-traffic-issues.html |

Creating beautiful wedding decor can be akin to carrying out precise, complicated surgery. One can easily go amiss resulting in death, or in this case fatal event decor catastrophe. Thankfully Zarah Bliss has been kind enough to share some knowledge on how to go about decorating your wedding reception hall. For Zarah Bliss it is all about these 5 key things; The Entrance The entrance of your wedding venue should never be forgotten. It is the first impression guests will get about the wedding, setting the tone and mood of the wedding celebration. Entrances should be symbolic and meaningful. Event experts usually recommend flowers and plants to frame the entrance. Red roses are a traditional yet beautiful choice to decorate a wedding entrance. But you can also have ballons, lovely soft lighting or themed draping. The Sweet Heart Table Is the space reserved to honour the bride and groom through out their wedding reception. It is the focal point of the event and is usually more elaborately decorated than the rest of the hall. Candles, ballons, unique lighting and flowers are usually used to decorate this space. Decorating the Sweet Heart table is a serious matter. It frames the bride and groom through out the celebration and symbolises their love and union. The Centre Pieces The centre pieces placed at the centre of each table at the wedding reception create an unmatched elegance and refinement to wedding decor. Simply put, it takes your decor to another level. It is your chance to personalise your wedding in a unique and memorable way through these pieces. Traditionally, centre pieces are flowers arranged to fit a colour scheme or theme. You can also have candles, ballons, or sculptures as the centre piece. Don't be afraid to step outside the box and try something bolder, like intricately carved flee market figurines. Alas! No flee market figurines in Abuja, but you can find unique items at the Arts and Crafts Centre in Central area. The Table Linen Table linen may seem like the least of your decor worries. However don't make the mistake of devaluing this important tool. It plays a significant role for setting the mood and tone of the event as well as creating harmonyby bringing all the elements of your decor together Linens are usually used to cover the tables but can be used as chair coverings too. Once you pick a theme and colour scheme it should be easier to pick your linens. The Lights Well thought out and unique lighting are sometimes all you need to create that memorable wedding atmosphere. As Karen Sullen words it, it's a "Language of Lights" once you understand how to use different types of lights you are halfway to creating your dream decor. The right lighting can transform a mundane meeting room to a fantastical winter wonderland. Its all about understanding the language of Lights. I've heard of men who cry when their girls break up with them but not when they lose their mums! Some men haven't cried in over 15 years even when they lose their own kids and it amazes me when one day they cry if something else happens! What makes or can make you cry as a man? |

https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3550/3786716340_ce1ccaba53.jpg Maitama is one of the most exclusive places to work and reside in Abuja. It’s home to many of Abuja’s super rich and powerful. The bulk of foreign embassies and missions are based in Maitama. One thing this district is especially known for is it’s very expensive accommodation and generally higher cost of living. But Maitama has very good roads, working street lights and it’s a safe part of town recording relatively lesser incidents of crime owing also to heavy presence of police and other security personnel. Land Marks The Maitama Amusement Park, the millennium Park, Transcorp Hilton Hotel, NCC head office, the Dunes, Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Maitama General Hospital and Circles Garden among others. Popular streets in Maitama include Gana Street and Aguiyi Ironsi way. Social Life Social life in Maitama is a subtle in-the-know affair, mainly because it is a highly exclusive part of town The Summerset hotel is a popular place for high end gatherings, The Bamboo house, a boutique hotel that has quickly grown into a social hangout houses an a great bar, restaurant and Juice bar. There are a few shopping malls in Maitama such as the popular 911 Mall and the 212 Supermarket on Usuma Street, the Linkers and The Mall on Gana Street, Exclusive Stores to mention a few. Economic Activities Maitama is home to head offices of many government agencies such as INEC, NYSC, NCC, EFCC and NUC to mention a few. It’s also home to most of the foreign embassies and missions. It’s not very common to spot local businesses in maitama but the few that exist are very expensive and beyond the reach of most people, therefore expect them to cater to the needs of high income earners. http://www.abujafood.com/news-digest/abuja-places/1042-maitama-district-abuja-a-simple-intro.html |

All this noise about Messi, if not because I don't like Football I know I would have achieved more than these! I remember those days in school when I could score 12 goals in one match, Messi has not achieved that in his Career, I'm the greatest footballer of all time, I just like being silent about my achievements that's why I turned down Real Madrid's offer to play for them! |
carefreewannabe: What kind of poverty are you talking about? Like having nothing to eat?Yeah that kind of poverty! But no condition is permanent, who knows that poor man may become very rich tomorrow and the rich man may become poor, then what happens if you were a second wife to that rich man that became poor? Then the process is reversed this time the former poor man may become the object of affection of two women who would also think the same way and then .............. Let me stop here! No condition is permanent, ladies pls marry that pauper who loves you, you never know how rich he might become tomorrow! #I'm just thinking out loud forget I said anything# |
Beync: she answered your question in her first reply, i guess u dint get her drift.Ok thank you! |
