Iyaebube: It started last two Sunday at the children's department. They were taught covering of the body as a child of God and ever since that day, my son has not remain the same again on his way of reasoning. My husband n I was all joking about it but it's getting out of hand the way my son is going about it
What he does now is he doesn't allow us especially me to wear skimpy wear at home anymore.whenever I put it on he will be shouting mummy cover your "private part" even my last baby that's not up to 2 was playing with the sleeveless top she was wearing the chest was showing immediately my son started shouting baby cover your private part. The private part he use to shout instead of another word cover your body provoked me to flog him to stop using that word cos he's just 4.
The incident that happened yesterday made us speechless was my family n I went to have a nice time because since that last two Sunday my son haven't stepped out of the house. We decided to have fun yesterday only for my son to screaming mummy see this one she or he is showing there private part. It brought alot of attention to us that we quickly ended what we came out to do.
How do I handle this issue to clear it off his head cos I have spoken n spanked him to stop but this is what he refused to stop saying n is embarrassing. Of all they where thought in Sunday school, why did he chose this one to practically implement? Hmmm, so iyaebe you're married with kids It's really surprising. |

clinician2x: I was hoping you would say something that makes some sense but nothing, all I read here is trash.
Why are all of you sounding very empty this night?
How exactly does your past determine your future when you're not in prison?
How exactly does your past determine your present and future when all you need to do is to stand up on ur feet and say ENOUGH.
How does your past determine your future and present when all that is required is for the niger republic minister of power to go on Google and type "how to generate electricity with uranium"
Why do I need to look at the nonsense from the past to understand the present situation of Africa when...? Oh I think I get it now.
Africans are prisoners. Prisoners of their own minds.
Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, non but ourselves can free our own minds.
What is the hope of Africa?

I am telling you how does it work that a country like Nigeria is sanctioning a country like Niger with useless electricity generated by hydroelectric means whereas niger Republic sits upon the world largest uranium deposits and an idiot like you is saying I should go and read wetin wetin pls what kind of nonsense talk is that?
Are you not in touch with your present reality, what is presently going on? Let me tell you something deadhead, you can never understand the present without looking at the past, and it's very obvious that your lack of historical knowledge is responsible for your difficulty in comprehending this issue. You keep shouting uranium uranium, the answer to your uranium question is for you to settle down and do a deep analysis and careful study to know the reason why the military in niger decided to take over the government, and also why the French president was angry about the military junta and why he also said they'll continue to export uranium from niger despite their presence. you're mentally blinded and brainwashed by the western media platforms to think Africans can't do anything on their own, you need to be released and free from mental slavery as Bob Marley once said. |

Romanoff: I have said this before and I'll say it again, no woman leaves a man who treats her well.
My own MIL, the highest she can stay for Omugwo is 3weeks, she even try for you sef for that three weeks. She will be running back to her husband.
You see a woman that "nags", it is because she still cares about you, when she goes silent, wetin dey her mind, na only she know. She will endure till the right time to bolt. The man will now be wondering where he went wrong not knowing that he went wrong a long time ago, na manifestation he just dey see.
Treat your wives well, don't be a Lion in the home, be relatable, treat your wives with love and respect, develop friendship and intimacy with your wife that will sustain you both till old age.
I know old women who don't stay for Omugwo cause them no fit leave their husband, such husbands are reaping where they sowed ni. If they were bad to their wives, you think the wives will be running back to them?
What kind of old woman wants to start life afresh, even looking for a job in UK at that old age when she should be enjoying retirement with her husband?
Make una dey ask these kind questions. Keep on deceiving yourself. |

Okay, they have published billions of information on the internet about the use of uranium and lithium but the people in niger are still complaining that Nigeria have cut their electricity supply to them. An intern is there to learn and at best make suggestions to the supervisor. Suggestions can be taken or discarded.
You or your friend should not take this attitude to the next job. No matter how good your intentions are, no one wants a disruptive employee. There are civil ways to get your points across without fighting. Eagle eye plenty here o. Hahahahahahahaha |

IconicR: Nairalanders please is it fair for a mother to suspend her own daughter for fighting her staff?
My friend's mother owns a large company with lots of staff, so she recently completed her nysc program and waiting to be called up for a job so she had to put up at her mum's company as an intern and she was doing her job well to see things done.
Most of the staff do not like to take instructions from her and this has resulted to altercations with most of them, they keep reporting to her mum till a meeting was finally called.
The staff seems to have connived against her and without even bothering to hear her side of the story her mum said she knows what she can do and she won't allow her to cause problems in her company, so she immediately suspended her and ask her to leave and go home.
The staff were happy with this judgement and some made some snide remarks while she was leaving.
This thing has really troubled her recently and she's thinking maybe her mom doesn't like her as she stated that if it were her brother she won't give such judgement.
Was she wrong in trying to put things in order which resulted to most of those fights with the staff?
Was the mum right to have passed such kind of judgement before her staff ?
My friend's mom told her to go resume next week on the condition that she'll behave well but my friend told her mum she's not stepping foot in her company again.
Nairalanders please without being biased who is at fault here? This is business not family meeting, if the mum says she should stop and get the fvck out she should do exactly what the mum said and find her way. Her mother owns the company not her. Why will she go there and be fighting the staffs, it shows she has bad character and also a troublesome person, and the mum knows well that's why she said what she said. |

Chidolalar: And what if your friend sister is the one forcing herself on you by telling you she likes you and want the two of you to be lovers If you like her too then signal your guy which is her brother and tell him about it, just to clear the air. But if you dont like her then decline her offer. My reason for saying all this is because, when I have a good relationship with someone I always try as much as possible to maintain it, and women most times wen dey come into a relationship with someone that's close to their brothers, sisters, husbands or close friends you just have to be careful, because it might end up ruining your relationship with those your close pals that are related to her in one way or the other. I've seen it several times with my own eyes. Women most times can spoil your relationship with someone very dear to you. So I always use my brain wen dealing with them. |

iwaeda: What are the direct implications of coup in Africa to the of Africa? It seems coup is now the new form of government in West Africa and this morning another Central Africa country, Gabon, joined the fray. African leaders have failed her people democratically, despite the huge amount of human and natural resources God has blessed us with we still remain at the bottom of Global advancing continents. The western imperialists has continued to plunder, dehumanised, exploit and dominate the economic, political and socio/cultural lifestyle of the African people through the senseless, greedy, egoistic, corrupt and power intoxicated nature of most African leaders. So in other to make change, the coming of the military will be a welcome idea. It will breath a sigh of fresh air in our system/ society. The young generation of African military leaders are strong, wise, educated and ready to take their various countries to a greater heights by forcefully sanitizing the system and clearing them of corrupt, unwise, selfish and greedy leaders that has continued to destroy their own mother land for the interest of western imperialists. I support the course with my full chest because it will bring about positive change in our dear mother Africa, and also free us from the grip of western powers. |

Kalatium: Gone are the days when boys were real boys as I look back in nostalgia. Below were rules of football when we were kids, damn it was fun
1. The fat kid was always the goalkeeper.
2.The owner of the ball decides who plays .
3. If you didn't participate in repairing the ball you were given a match ban.
4. The guy who's never picked was to fetch the ball from the trees or bush when it got stuck, under the car or tunnel to play in the next game.
5. When the owner of the ball got annoyed, game over.
6. When you hit your toes against a stone and you notice blood, you quickly cover the area of injury with sand as a form of first aid and play continues.
7. You can't dribble the owner too much, this may lead him to stop the game by taking away his ball.
8. No matter how many goals you scored, the winner would be determined by the last team to score.
9.No offsides.
10.There is no referee.
11.There is fault only if the fault is serious .
12.The 2 best players can not play in the same team so everyone chooses their players.
13.If you are chosen last it is a humiliation and you will remain in defense.
14.If there is a penalty the goalkeeper is replaced by the best player of the team.
15.The best player on the field is always in the same team as the owner of the ball.
16.There is always a house where if the ball fell there, we knew that the game was over. so be careful !!
17. To distinguish the teams, one of the teams take off their shirts .
18.Game over when its dark and we can barley see the ball, we all disperse in groups teasing one another until we get home to face another punishment from our parents.
Africa is our home. Childhood was fun. No be lie o. We did it way back. |

Communication was less because I couldn't afford to calls more often. I returned back home this august the 7th and my daughter was nowhere to be found.
My parents first lied to me that she was with my mum's sister that they will send someone to pick her up but to no avail. So myself I went to my mum sister house and my daughter wasn't there and she doesn't know where she was.
I asked my parents over and over again all I could get is insults from my dad , he is angry whenever i bring the subject and my siblings are not cooperating and they've refusing to tell me the truth.
I am sick and tired of asking and no getting any answers I am trying to be calm to avoid disrespecting my parents but I am loosing patience.
So many things is going throught my head I will have no option but to take things into my own hands and hurt my dad the outcome may be deadly ,
Please no insult how do I handle the situation without disrespecting my parents or do you think I should take the matter to the police ? Tell them you'll call the police if there's no response and see what they'll say. If they still didn't say anything call the police. |
