IyaebeTheGreat: Mine goes thus: I can never forgive a husband for having illegitimate kid/kids outside our matrimonial home, taking a second wife and going physical on me(even if I hit him which I won’t ever do, he should choose the option of silent treatment and not hit me back) . These three things are what I can’t ever forgive a husband for and I would hold him in my heart for the rest of my life. Share yours You dont want him to hit you even if you hit him first, hmmmm. This one is looking for a man she will control. |

Even though I'm a born again Christian, I think I must give kudos to our Muslim brothers and sisters for living by the tenets of islam. No Islamic ruling nor nation will give a nod to this madness and we wonder why they are more morally up right than we Christians? Weird acts and cultures are common amongst Christian nations yet we think we are more righteous. Sometimes I regret being a Christian You need to understand that there's a big difference from being called a Christian and a practicing Christian. This western nations don't practice what's in the bible , cos if they do they won't be coming up with those their stupid laws of homosexuality, gender equality, abortion, lack of morality and so many of them, all in the name of liberty and equality. The bible never support any of those shit. You need to know that. |

Going to tertiary institutions should not be solely for the aim of the certificate or the financial benefits the certificate can be used for but the knowledge gained which should be very vital for the society. Schools should refine you to become a better version of yourself Exactly brother...... |
Education › Re: Do You Ever Regret Getting A Degree? by achimendy(m): 7:28pm On Mar 12, 2023 |
Sometimes I feel I made a serious mistake going to the tertiary institution. I had my OND degree about 8 years ago after several months of job searching I realised I couldn't get a job with it and the OND is just as useless as ssce I decided to get a better degree I wrote jamb I got admitted to the university 5 years ago to study engineering. Now in a few months to my graduation (if ASUU call off the strike) I feel I made a great mistake going back to school. I feel all the efforts, time and money is be wasted. I feel going back to school was a mirage cus after school will I still go back to the street as usual. Do you ever regret going to school? I've never had that thought even if I have not gotten a good job. I really thank God for the knowledge I acquired during my time in the university. It's really helping me alot. Like David oyedepo once said there's no field in life that does not require knowledge. Knowledge is precious and priceless. Let the knowledge you've acquired over the years help you to build up. |

Kobojunkie: Your culture extols men to take on 100% of the financial burden in marriage. OP is merely preaching your culture to you. Why does that make her a gold digger? I don't see any one here equally disavowing your culture and traditional beliefs in the same breath. I wonder if it's the bible that told you that men should be 100% financially responsible In their marriage, because the bible also refer to women as helpmeet, so if we have a family together and you're not helping him in one or the other then you're not doing your part as his partner. And mind you help can come in different forms, be it financially, emotionally, spiritually etc. It just depend on the one needed at that point in time. There comes a time when a man do have some financial challenges in his life, that's when some few wise women will step-up to support their husband's b4 he can pick up again. But you see most of this girls of nowadays, they don't give a fvk about your challenges, they only want to be eating your money and enjoying your sweat, but the day you breakdown they'll run away, saying there can't cope with his current situation anymore, forgetting he has being taking care of you in the past. This girls have no conscience, always looking for already made men to feast on. That's why they hardly get married, or hardly their marriage last because of their lust for material things. Majority of them you see talking that way only see relationship/marriage as a means of escaping poverty, that's they're always after what you'll give to them. As men we know our responsibility, but if your wife is not supportive, more especially during challenging times hmmm forget that marriage. Both couples have their role to play in the family, but if any of them defaulted they'll definitely be a problem. |

EriMma1: Why should a woman be the one to meet your needs? Are women meant to til thef ground? That's the man's duty from creation and even though women are now doing it. It still doesn't give a man the right to her money. This one na gold-digger o |
Romance › Re: What Are You Doing With A Man That Can't Meet Your Needs? by achimendy(m): 11:55pm On Mar 11, 2023 |
EriMma1: No no no... You tell me?
A man who cannot meet your needs should not be anywhere around you because he'll only be a stumbling block to your progress and cause you to miss out on great opportunities that would have come your way through those who understand the assignment. Don't ever let such men around you.
I've never been an advocate for starting small with a man after my past experiences even before the economy got this bad not to talk of now that it has plunged deep into meltdown.
A lot of ladies who went into such mess in the early 2000s are still carrying the family till today while the men are struggling to meet up with no headways or hopes in sight. This takes me to the next point.
As a single man still struggling, don't ever brainwash or be brainwashed by any girl to go into marriage and manage with you until things get better. Y'all have seen that e go better has become the prayer of a poor man. So run away from such trap. Make it to a reasonable level first before going for a woman.
I don't want to begin to go into details of the eventualities that may likely occur and become very grave due to inability to tackle them financially. Use your tongue to count your teeth.
I remember a long time ago when I was dating one struggling guy. The aunty asked him a very good question I'll never forget in my life and that taught me a lesson I've been applying in life's situations.
He invited me to come spend the weekend with him that the aunt was around so I could feel relaxed. When I got there and the aunty saw me, she called him aside and asked him the following. You know we are struggling to eat in this house. Your salary is not enough and you brought in a young girl. What if there's an emergency in the course of her stay, what will you do? How will you go about it? When he told me, I became scared and thought the aunt was right. I now remembered one certain time I visited a friend. So that night we strolled out to buy suya. I don't know if it was from the suya paper or the unhygienic environment it was prepared that gave me food poison. That night, I didn't know where I was. Serious stomach cramps and I was just coiling up in the room that day holding my stomach. Again this lawyer guy no get shishi to even take me to the nearest clinic. In his confusion he gave me garlic to chew. That seemed to help a little but omor, I broke up with him.
So, with this few points of mine, I believe iv been able to convince and not confuse you on the need to stay away from a man that cannot cater for your needs.
If you attack me, it shows you're a struggling guy or dating a struggling guy. Una eyes go soon clear. My own don clear tey tey.
Enjoy. Madam go find work so you can cater for your needs. Stop disturbing people with your entitlement song. |

Kobojunkie: Give her sex talk? You folks still do not get it, do you? Your sexual stamina as an individual is controlled by your hormone levels and you have absolutely no control over such things. No amount of sex talk can turn a person whose sex drive is low to a sex maven, none.
This ought to be common sense since we learn these things in Biology class beginning in at least JSS2. I guess you're missing the point, all I asked is for him to study his wife using that method, that's if she has not been genitally mutilated, which can also reduce sexual urge. So by doing that he can find out the problem. But you seems to be telling us about biology class, as if what I said has not been thaught in class b4. Bro that guy needs solution not lectures. |
