Thanks brother. It's a grinding noise, not whining. The belt was removed & the pulley checked: it seems perfect. I'm tempted to think the noise is from the AC compressor (below the steering pump); but the noise is d same whether or not the AC is on.

It does happen that the compressor could go bad. However, it is unlikely because the compressor is usually inactive without AC on. The clutch may not be engaged so only the pulley of the AC compressor is spinning. Unless the is a clutch problem.

Any of the belt driven parts that is making the sound can be checked by hand after belt is removed.

Why wont you come? It will look like you are not interested in the peace or progress of the party especially that the party leader GEJ invited you. You have to honour him and show to the world you are interested in progress of the party.

I blame GEJ for the failure of that meeting since he called it and had no intention of being fair to both sides.

Everybody knows Wike arranged that meeting but Sherrif will never have honoured it if they didnt use GEJ as a front. He GEJ disappointed me when he didnt make sure that Sherrif will not disgrace or embarass him. It is also a bad omen that Sherrif arrived after GEJ whether intentionally or not. GEJ should not have gone inside without Sherrif seated. It just shows GEJ was dragged there.

If its a whining sound, then it is caused by either short in ps oil or air in the system. Usually, air gets in through the sunction side which is usually starting from the reservior to pump. A broken pipe or dried oil seal are usual causes.

If it is air, you will notice the reservior foaming or bubbling

The pump also has a bearing and it could fail.

To check for this, remove the belt and spin the pump pulley manually observing the noise.

If the meeting is a peace meeting, the most important thing is to recognise sherrif, without that, its another deadlocked meeting. Whatever the agenda of the meeting, sherrif not been aware of it is a set up in his eyes especially with the likes of Wike there who probably brought Jonathan to that meeting to favour themselves.

Put yourself in Sherrif shoes, what will you do? Hand over the party like that for nothing? They must be willing to bargain before a resolution can be sought. But what Wike, Fayose want is to get rid of Sherrif which wont happen.

How come when a public official declares his assets, he doesnot only declares his own assets but his entire family asset including that which belong to his wife and children. If Mrs Saraki was questioned for properties belonging to her and not declared by her husband, what would you call a gift to a Judge's son from a lawyer who's case is before the judge?

If i want to collect a bribe, all i need to do is give my wife's account details or that of my son nd the bribe was never taken.

In the case of CCT judge, his PA took the bribe but there is no link to say the judge actually got the bribe whether through his family or himself. The PA could be acting on his own, but this one got to Justice Ademola's house hold. He has definitely seen the car parked in his own house.

Apart from using the right grade of engine oil, it is important to also use the right class of oil certification.

For example if your car specifies 5w30 API: SF. Using a 5w30 API: SE will be a bad choice. API SL, SM or SN or above will be even better.

Another damaging culture is using oil treatment for non faulty engine. I have seen a 2005 Tacoma using Ammasco oil with abro oil treament, i shook my head and left the location because i didnt want to insult the mechanic and probably cause enmity between him and I.

Do you know that a broken fuse can stop you anywhere? A broken fuse could even knock your engine if you are not observant.

You need to know your car's problem to get remote help. You have to be able to notice a minute difference in your car's behaviour to point to the problem. I was able to change my brake pads on a long journey. In your case, you will either have to abandon the car or destroy your brake rotors incuring more cost.

Animals with fur or feathers will not do any harm or shock.

Besides the animal has to be grounded. A cat should be careful of its nose. Grounding is the reason birds sit on power lines with high voltage and dont get shocked.

To be honest, most false alarm tigger are caused by either faulty installation or breach by trees. Thats my experience. Also, if you install a small energizer to a large perimeter, you may experince false alarm during rain falls. Rain increases the resistivity of wires by a very small measure. Also installing wires close to each other may cause shorting producing blue lightning-like sparks especially during rain triggering the alarm.

With proper installation, you will forget you have an alarm system.

It is sad to have to see my almamater's name dragged through the mud with regards to the Dino Melaye's case.

Earlier today, the ABU VC confirmed that Dino Melaye indeed graduated with a Third Class degree in 2000 despite overwhelming inconsistencies. The 2 biggest inconsistencies are the fact that Dino himself claimed to have served in 1999 while the VC confirmed he graduated 2000. Secondly, Dino's statement of results indicated he graduated with a B.A Geography instead of the usual B.Sc Geography.

A search through the Alumni website did not yield any result for Daniel, Jonah or Melaiye but had one result for Melaye who is not Dino Melaye or the name he used then. The search was positive for famous graduates of the department who graduated far before Dino Melaye. Two of such people are Prof. Jerry Gana and Nenadi Esther Usman who both graduated with a B.Sc unlike Dino Melaye.

We cross our arms waiting to see what the website will contain after the reconstruction process.

This matter sounds strange to me.

A childs dedication only means that you as parents swear to raise your child to the fear and ways of God.

My church being an orthodox one would have placed you on church discipline for having a child out of wedlock. They will not join you as husband and wife like a normal marriage but can bless the marriage after serving the disciplinary actions and performing the tradional rites. That will make you as a couple recognised in the church to perticipate in every activity of the church without limits. This also should mean your child should be dedicated and celebrated in from of the church.

It seems this church of yours does not believe in forgiveness. If they do, they should have been able to make you serve your punishment and publicly declare that you have done right by God and now free to dedicate your child, it will be discriminating to hold this childs dedication secretly as if he is not a child from God.
