duroc:On which electoral law did Bubari himself get elected. There is an electoral law and there is an electoral process. Infact the electoral process has since began with the update of the voters register earlier this year. The election date has been set, primaries done, list submitted. Which electoral process is missing? The new electoral bill is a thing the members of the National assembly are trying to get to help them get reelected. |
SomeHenro:Its slightly more. COREN Application and processing N12,000 Registration, stamp and seal N35,500 Transcript fees plus speedpost (ABU, Zaria) N11,000 Practice license N10,000/yr Total N68,500 This is not including other cost of transportation for transcript application and to pick Certicate, seal and stamp. NSE is way higher and depends on the branch. |
Anfieldboss:I dont think its about your first degree. Its about his application and the COREN review staff. The whole application is reviewed based on info you supplied. See screenshot of my application form, professional info part. The first things on that page is the proposers, the work experience confirmer and then engineering field. Its your work experience and qualifications that will support his application into a certain division. In his case, i dont think he chose to be registered as a civil engineer. If he doesnot have the requisite work experience and work confirmer, he would not be registered as a chemical engineer. Unless their was a mix up. If i studied civil in UG but switched to mechanical in PG, my work experience will have to be submitted in only one discipline which cannot conflict to either my UG or PG qualification. Meanwhile a work experience confirmation is also required to register you under the discipline. What do you think will happen to an application in mechanical engineering when the applicant has zero experience in mechanical but has required yrsof experience in civil engineering. In this case, if COREN registers him as a Mechanical engineer, then the did so knowing he has no Mechanical engineering experience and have given him a mechanical engineering practice license. It will be totaly wrong. Therefore, if the person in your instance never had an experience in chemical engineering being a lecturer in civil, then i would say its an oversight or mistake by COREN have him registered as a chemical engineer.

joshdrmmz:A biochem graduate maynot be admitted to a PG course in chemical engineering but a graduate of industrial chemistry can. To answer your question, it depends on what course you studied. A graduate of building technology is not a civil engineer but can be admitted for a PG in civil engineering. |
Lumig:Perhaps wrong choice of words by you. It is not useless, it is the system within which they find themselves. Unlike Medicine where government is more responsible for health care than infrastructure or any engineering related government responsibility. Aleast, NSE recently got government to employ engineers at level 12 with COREN or accelerated promotion. The problem is priorities. Government has priotized health care above infrastructure, as such NMA has more leverage on government to make demands than NSE. |
ga6992:My NSE project defense was much more than my undergraduate defense in terms of the grilling. It all depends on the branch and topic sha. What happened was that one of my panelist was a specialist in the project field i did. For COREN, if you decide to go to COREN without NSE thinking you are taking a short cut, well you may not find it easy. Most of the COREN top people and those who will interview you are very active members of NSE and will not be happy you took that route. This means you will not have a rosy ride with them. They discourage going to COREN directly and will certainly make a statement with you. The fewer candidates going to COREN directly means bad as the interview could likely be a lone interview lasting hours. We all know, the less people attending an interview, the more interviewers have time to flex their muscles. |
WotzupNG:Make she no mind Nigerians. I see no wrong in what she said. Education is on the low in Nigeria so tey comprehension is becoming a physical challenge. |
How did the person who checked the car found out the airflow meter is bad? Secondly, what are the effects of the bad airflow meter on the car.? Thirdly, and ABS not tightened well doesnt make sense especially if it brings a light at the dash. In my opinion, you need more investigation. Airflow meter is easy to buy and replace but the underlaying problems that the seller may have used the airflow meter to cover if any is what you must find out. A good engine is a relative term. Nigerians are good at throwing parts in a car, what if its not even the airflow meter? I think there is not enough information to advise you properly. Both problems can be confirmed with a simple scan. Make sure the scan is after driving not before. Some codes could be erased and wont show until you drive. |
lawman88:Why would this issue cause Buhari any sleepless night when the Jibril matter has no proof nor any iorta of fact. |
obekediamondfuto:When my Air/fuel ratio sensor was bad, my highway mpg was bad but since i changed it and system went into closed loop, mpg went positive. |
Kewtt:US |
obekediamondfuto:Surprisingly, i get 25mpg on a 2003 Accord. |
HeavenlyBang:70miles x 1.609 = 112.63km N2,000 fuel ÷ N145 = 13.79litres 112.63km ÷ 13.79litres = 8.17km/l Likewise, 13.79litres ÷ 3.785 = 3.64gallons 70miles ÷ 3.64gallons = 19.2mpg 19.2mpg is bad but 13mpg is terrible. |
americanson:I assume you mean species of trees. There are different species of trees in different parts of the world. Some can grow in almost anywhere while others not so. In terms of use, especially for building, the specie is not the main ish, it is the type of wood. There are different types of wood to do different kinds of things. Hard wood cannot replace soft wood. Wood grain can also determine suitability for different purpose. Now, if a particular specie is required in the US for a job, a different specie available in Nigeria may have same qualities such that that Nigerian specie can be used as a suitable option in Nigeria. However, the real issue here is the quality of wood. Our trees are afflicted with several diseases and other factors that make their quality so low that the American standard of wood may not be available locally. For example, when sourcing an important structural member such as a 6m beam of wood, diseases, age of wood etc would be strictly considered. While in Nigeria, trees are on their own but there, trees are taken cared of. A young boy grows up in a forest plantation, taking care of his fathers trees. 5 generations of his family have been in the wood business, they know what diseases affect their output and the secrets of the business is passed down. The 1st person who started it may not have enjoyed it but every generation thereafter contributes to making the family a dynasty. Father leaves 50,000 healthy young trees, son inherits and makes a fortune while leaving a 100,000 healthy trees, grandson does same and the wood supply only improves in quality and quantity. Meanwhile, i met a young son in Nigeria whom his father left a forest of very expensive trees. This boy wants to go to school and cuts down 20 every semester. He never planted even one but keeps havesting the 30yr old trees his father left. What will the next generation get? Wood is such a good building material but we have no discipline to do it right. |
This perennial fuel shortage during Christmas is obviously sabotage by these guys for their own benefit. They want to make momey through black market. |
kcbaba007:If you get clicks on the door you try to operate, it means there is power to that door. I have experienced similar problem with my EOD but not on 3 windows like you, mine was just one rear right window. In my own case, the window stopped operating while fully down. Took it for repairs, immediately the winding mechanism was removed and plugged to power, it worked perfectly. Putting everything back it worked like magic at the workshop but immediately i left, it stopped again. An electrician later checked the motor brushes but they were not worn out. The was nothing to be done as it keeps stopping and starting at will. Because of the frequency of the problem especially stopping when the glass is down i disconnected the window for half a year. I knew how to dismantle the window and put it back. Just like you, i only get çlicks from the window when it stops. The solution to my problem was greasing and cleaning the brush contact to amateur. Its over 6 months now and its still working when mechanics said i needed to buy a new winding mechanism. Let me explain how the click works, the window is supposed to click only when limits are reached. The system has a something i cant easily explain like a "torque limiter" (my assumption). It works by way of knowing that the window has reached a limit when the normal force applied to move the window has been overcomed by a force stopping it. It clicks to stop supply of power so as not to damage or over work the motor. This means that in normal operation, the window clicks at the top limit as well as the bottom limit. My conclusion was that anything that causes the window to click when it has ample allowances to move is either from the mechanism or window rail. It means the system cannot overcome the force to push or pull the window. In my own case removing the 3 bolts holding the motor housing in place will just allow the window to work like magic. If i bolt the motor housing back, it stops soon afterwards. So i localized my problem to the motor housing area. I greased the cable winder and the improved the brush contact making the motor stronger. I suggest you take out one of the mechanism and try it without load. |
kcbaba007:Come oh! There is a switch on the drivers door that stops all 3 windows from operating. The drivers window is excluded and this sounds like that button was pressed. Press the button to turn it off then try again. |
mjksho:Naija mechanics call it metal and main bearing. |
PoliticsNigeria:Na pillow dey him seat! Short man devil! |
feddis:In Nigeria, credibility directly means winninng. Successive oppositions never accept defeat until GEJ, thats why even APC supporters give him that credit. Even the 2015 election was not accepted as credible by PDP supporters. In fact, majority of PDP supporters would not have accepted it if GEJ didnt give it up (Orubebe case study). In other words, the only credible outcome of 2019 election is for PDP to win, anything less is fake. The fight GEJ denied them in 2015 is the fight they are calling for in 2019. I just wished PDP went for someone like Tambuwal, atleast a fresh hand would have sufficed. |
agwom:In other words, any result that doesn't favour them is fake. |
ifiokjohn:Keep dreaming. 2023 is the reason why Buhari will win. Those who will support him want 2023. Those who support will have their backs rubbed just like they will rub Buhari's back. SE and SS is a political Island. Be realistic. Dey there dey think Tinibu doesnt want to go Aso villa or all his effort will just flush down the toilet because Igbos want it. SW has a far greater chance for 2023 than SE. Bastard Igbo from Kaduna, lalai kam. |
Atiku is said to have a corruption case in the US and has not travelled there since. The allegation has been on his head for years. On the other hand, Buhari is rumoured that it is his clone who returned to the country after a 3month medical leave. Which story is believable and which one can easily be proven otherwise? Why would Atiku with his own cross to carry ask Buhari to Address the accusation that he is a clone. It was said Buhari retired Army General doesnt have an o'level qualification. It was trashed. Now the next propaganda is discredit his own existence. How can one give proof his own existence. If i was the one, i would totally ignore the opposition. |
My conclusion is that the white CRV is stolen. A VIN check will just confuse anyone who wants to check but the fact is the original vin for the white car is what whoever did the job is trying to hide. |
Chechem:Be very careful buying this car toks. Majority of the countries this car will be sourced are Right Hand Drive countries. I.E Asia and Southern Africa. This means the probability you will be buying a conversation will be very high. |
OkaNaUbe:Control arm is what Kazeems refer to as camber. I guess their reason for calling it so is because the control arm usually has bushings and a bad bushing or controm arm usually affects the actual camber. In simple terms, a bad control arm or its bushings affects the camber of the wheel. |
OkaNaUbe:There is. However, its not a part but the verticality of the wheels.

dainformant:She was bleeped in yahoo yahoo style now she dey exhibit yahoo yahoo madness. |
MrOpp:Shine at your own peril. Your decision is either quit or stay. Your mistake was showing you are capable, now you cannot show you are not capable cos your boss will know you know your job but dont want to do it. My advice is gradually reduce your responsibility and relegate yourself to the background. Such people like your boss could go extreme to shine, this means if you threaten his job, you will attract his wrath. I had a boss who asked me to do something within my job responsibilities but i told him i didnt know how to. He pays me peanuts but expects me to do a ton of a job. So i told him i didn't know which he had to pay someone else to do it even though i had to give the person the data to do it. Money he was supposed to pay me is paid to someone else since he will not give me a raise. I only did this because he doesn't know that i am responsible for that job. Some government jobs are such that if you show you are good a your work, the work load on your colleagues and even you boss will fall on you. You are not meant to shine in every job you have. On the other hand, your are part of his team and so not expected to shine as an individual just like in football team that strikers are expected to get goals but at the end coaches take credit for the hardwork of players. |
Juell:I was going to refer you to the fact that Teebawse said he wants this same type of door which includes the frames and architrave. Looking at the his 2nd pic. I can see a PU aerosol can and the architraves on the wall. A subframe is not required in this installation. However, the installation of this door can be pricey ranging from 3-6k per door depending on site conditons and negotiations. In the project i did, the client rejected the finished quality of the china doors he bought and condemned them. He later got a company in Abj who fabricated new doors with MFC. These new doors were quite heavy that the double door hinges on two of them failed before the installation was over. Both installs were done with PU. |
