Unfortunately, these people outside their territories will not be allowed to vote. This unrealistic analysis is what gave most people hope that GEJ was going to win when the odds were clearly against him. The odds are by far against Atiku, the sooner we all realise the better |

shege45: Let me tell you guys a brief story. When i was in secondary school, i was the best student in my class. I was so good that I represented my school in any competition held.
Going to university, i still had that flare. I was still very serious. I read like a mad person , but due to some factors , my gp was really bad in yr 2 and 3. Regardless of the fact that I studied hard. Other years were good but it was unfortunate i came out with a 2.2 degree. If a degrees were to be given according to your level of seriousness, I would have made a first class.
However, i came out of school thinking that atleast its not like 2.2 is a bad result, It’s average. I tried looking for a job, but everywhere says minimum 2.1. I had to settle for a teaching job which i still do now. I have given up on looking for job because everyone says the same thing. 2.2 has made me believe i am no longer intelligent. People in my family, my friends , my colleagues at work all believe that i am intelligent. But my degree tells me otherwise.
Now here is what saddens me. A friend of mine whom i knew i was better than academically back in school posted a picture of a car given to him by his employer. He came out with a 2.1 (p:s he got that job without knowing anyone in the company,he saw it online and applied).Everyone in the department knew how he always passed his exams. Although i am genuinely happy for him, but I am sad for myself. Do employers think that we 2.2 graduates are totally worthless? Coming out with 2.1 is a nice achievement and many people who got it worked really hard for it but many factors can make a bright student come out with 2.2. I have been teaching for three years now and I sometimes ask myself, would I continue like this? I don’t want to be like some of my colleagues who are way older than i am and still teaching. I am 25.
An advice to people in universities. Do any thing you can to come out with a 2.1. Don’t let that no job thing fool you. Read , cheat or buy 2.1, but do whatever it takes to come out with it. Get it first then listen to the no job story because your story can actually change with it. As for 2.2, there is actually no job unless you have somebody somewhere. Mtcheeeeeeewwewwwww You didn't make sense at all. Do you know that in my department for example, 2 of 5 had 3rd class, 2 of 5 had 2.2, 0.9 of 5 had pass and 0.1 of 5 had 2.1. Just like you, out of the 4 2.1 in my class, only 2 deserved it. I knew how everyone got what he had and i can remain proud of what i got even if it doesn't get me a good job with a multi national company. Asíde this i know 3 of my drop out class mates that are doing very well. One is a PhD holder, one works with a multi national. Lastly, you must be grateful for that which you have truely earned. Pray that God gives you what you desire in his ways not by ways of man. |

No formula oh.. I guess the 500 naira news circular never reach my local post office I spent over an hour in the post office trying to see if they would budge to my request to pay 1k for 3 packets but they adamantly told me to choose which to carry. This is the catch, i didnt receive the item in the main post offfice of the state, my post office is Kafanchan in kaduna state. The main post office being Kaduna central and the sub mains are Zaria, Kafanchan. I was told that the Kaduna main would register all the international packets before forwarding to Kafanchan a known number, Kafanchan in turn has a specific account (a first bank acc) they deposit N500 for each international packet they deliver and they have to account for such monies with Kaduna. This detail i got made me give up, because if someone was charging extra, i was not in the right place to appeal. I requested for a receipt, they told me non was available. I had to force them to give me the small stamped slip i posted in the opening post. I even faked a call to the secretary of the Nipost post master General but they were unshakable. |

We all know Nipost has increased the service charge from N200 to N500 for receiving international small packet.
This is discouraging especially for such items we order that are worth less than N1000.
I called the Nipost customer care to comfirm the legality of the charge, they did confirm its legal. That means one has to pay.
At the post office, i met a Reverend father who made a plea for donation of a Piano from US, it came quite alright, but Nipost put a handling charge 2 times the value of the Piano. As we discussed, the issue has been on for 2months as he has refused to receive the item sent to him for free.
Yes i agree handling charges should be charged but Nipost should find a standard way of charging not abitrarily like they do.
Secondly, i made a small order of 9 items collectively worth N5700, Nipost is expecting me to pay N4500 for all items even as one item is wort $1 but i have to pay N500 for it. They suggested next time i should ask the sender to just put the item in a ordinary envelop like a letter and they will not charge a kobo.
Who has experienced doing that especially with AliExpress?

The thing is, wizzy isnt a responsible man at all.
A responsible man will often visit his son and have a cordial relationship with the baby mama.
He obviously doesn't want her to embarrass him which she has refrained from alot of times but he has to up both their standard of living for his name sake. Whatever she does with the child, ppl will see it like she is getting back at him.
Imagine having a celebs child, he doesn't care, but when she post pics of her son on fb, his cloths are not good enough forgetting that thats what she can afford.
Why should his baby mama enter public transport with his child? She gets a modelling contract but he cancels it for his interest but doesn't want to take responsibilities. Its wrong. If her standard of living is low, so is his child, thats a shame even if the entire charade is not about money.
Why would he tell his baby mama she is privileged to talk to him? |
Business › Re: How I Saw N100,000 By The Roadside In Ilorin (Photo) by adanny01(m): 7:05am On Sep 22, 2018 |
Bimzybae: Good evening here and happy Friday.
I am student of one of the University here at ilorin and i am into fabric business to help myself
Yesterday, as i was coming back from school; a customer ordered for a fabric and i went to delivered it to her so on my way back home, it's already like 6pm.
I decided to branch at a friend house who stay around the area i went to delivered the fabric but unfortunately, I couldn't meet her at home and her number was not reachable so i decided to trek abit maybe we would meet on the road as the time is around 6:30pm and she isn't the type who stay out for long.
After i pass like 3 buildings to her house, I saw a transparent black nylon near the road (it has almost felt inside the gutter) so i passed it and my instincts told me that was a money from the way it look, I went back to check what was inside the nylon and was so surprised to see a bundle of money wrap together.
I picked it up and waited for like 30minutes in that spot to see if anyone will pass claiming he or she was looking for lost money. After like 30minutes; no one show signs of searching for any lost money.
it's already getting late around 7pm, so i took bike to my house .
Getting home, I opened the nylon and counted the money and it was 106,000
I was feeling somehow and thinking of the condition the person would be because the money look like that of those traders based on the way it was wrapped together so i left my house early in the morning today to that same spot maybe the person might appear or i would see anyone talking about lost money but everyone were busy with their business so i left back home with the money.
The reason why i created this thread is to hear your advice on what to do with the money because part of me is telling me to give the needy the money , another part of me is telling me to use the money on my business and also get a small phone from it because the one i am using presently isn't that good and i need some cash for my business as well.
Please i will really appreciate your suggestions
Moderator should help me move it to appropriate place as i don't know where to post it. The best way to find the owner is to go to a radio station that is popular in the area. Get one of the presenters personally and discuss way forward. However, your biggest mistake is posting how much it actually is here because a local Nairalander around you could claim it. I wont encaurage you to give up now on finding the owner. You can get say 3k from the money, buy a small phone and a new sim. Paste notices in the night around the area that money was lost but found. Drop that new no as contact. Do the same with a radio station anonymously. The claimant must tell the amount and the road he traveled and lost the amount. Its possible the owner went to a police station but its not safe to go there yourself. Try for atleast 2 months, your conscience should free you by then if you use it. |
Car Talk › Re: I Took My Car For Computer Diagnosis And See What They Report: Advise Please by adanny01(m): 7:26am On Sep 21, 2018 |
nickxtra: I took my car for a computer diagnostic because I was worried about the check engine symbol that was on the dash board, secondly the Airbag was showing a fault since the light was on. Thirdly my car vibrates when I turn on it on, although not very pronounced. And the fourth reason was that when I am on a high speed and I apply breaks to stop, the car swerves or tries slipping to my right hand side unless I hold tight to the sterling. Apart from all these and perhaps the noise from the lower arms or stabilizing linkages when I drive on uneven surfaces, my car drives smoothly.
The Company, i was told is very good. Then I took Toyota Corrola 2007 there; they drove my car into workshop and after about 45 minutes, they brought an estimate and behold! what they quoted for me i still cannot understand.
I thought they will bring out errors codes or explain faults to me, but they just gave me this list of what I need to fix in the car. Am confused firstly because of the kind of report which is simply an estimate of parts to change, instead of showing me errors that need to be fixed.
Gurus in the house, am planning to go for another or better check to ascertain the actual errors or problems with the car.
Please help me relate the aforementioned problems viz a viz the estimate given to me by the company and advise approximately. Thanks They were supposed to charge you for a comprehensive scan and give you the results suggestions solutions. This should include the SRS specific fault but replacing sensor? Which sensor for that matter? A/C vibration in 90% cases is bad engine mount related. Other case will be using a wrong A/C compressor or a weak/faulty engine. Lastly, the brake swerving is usually a failed/blocked brake line. In most cases, its either from the master brake cylinder or from ABS pump if you have. Most master cylinders have 2 lines and when one is bad, it results to swerving. What that means literally is that one front tire brakes and the other doesnot or the braking force is not equal on both wheels. If the car swerves to the right then the left is not braking well and vise versa. This could also be the case with the rear wheels if the issue is from the master brake but the issue will be opposite to the front. To check, drive and brake for some minutes. Both brake discs should be hot but if one is not, it confirms that a brake line is not working. Another check is to pour water on both disc in the night if you have iron discs. By morning you will see rust kn both, drive and brake once, the if rust remains on any disc, you know the diagnosis. It just feels like you have to flee from that shop. |

olulogbemileke: Your explanation of plagiarism only shows your limited knowledge of it. According to you, "Plagiarism is stealing and publishing someone's publication" but you forgot to add that "without reference to the source"
To plagiarize also means to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own or to use (another's production) without crediting the source or to commit literary theft and to present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source (https://www.plagiarism.org/article/what-is-plagiarism)
In other words, plagiarism is an act of fraud. It involves both stealing someone else's work and lying about it afterwards. The ABU MBA handouts qualify for all the above definitions. Waiting for your response. Before the "ABU MBA handouts qualify to be plagiarism, the handouts has to be published? What i said was steal and publish. You said steel and pass off Whats the difference between publish and pass off in this context. How does one "Pass off" someone else's work as his own if its not published? Who is the publisher for the "ABU MBA Handouts"? |
Education › Re: Ahmadu Bello University Online MBA; A Mistake I Wish I Never Made by adanny01(m): 9:59am On Sep 14, 2018 |
olulogbemileke: Certainly a dubious institution. I talked my wife into starting the ABU online MBA program believing it was an economical program based on the tuition, outline and program structure I saw on their website. They not only have increased the number of courses but also increase the fee per course for electives. I checked all their courses handouts, they are full of punishable PLAGIARISM. An institution that cannot do it's own research but wants to make all the money. Your red paragraph is out of order. Plagiarism is stealing and publishing someone's publication. What is taught in class is not plagiarism nor what is captured in a curriculum. A school curriculum is not a publication so doesnot qualify to be plagiarism. Schools do not teach only their own research while most textbooks are not individual researches. You obviously need to know what is really taught in schools, no offense intended. |

Saraki is wasting his time.
Atiku is wasting his time
Kwankwaso doesn't have the whole North to himself.
APC have the North in marriage.
And with more acquisition of the Eastern states, those votes will cover up for anywhere President Buhari shared with Kwankwaso in the North.
Final point, Kwankwaso is also wasting his time! In addition, APC has Jagaban to deliver atleast the largest voting state in the south or the 2nd largest vote in the country. I see APC coasting with victory. Yes, APC will lose states and barely win with a narrow majority in the senate. |

1 million people wearing red cap in Abuja for your declaration or winning a twitter poll means nothing in PDP primaries
Go and campaign to the delegates
Kwankwaso seems to prefer intimidating PDP into giving him the ticket than campaigning to the right audience. I worry about people with this type of behaviour I dont think Kwankwaso needs to campaign to PDP delegates. My reason is that if PDP delegates do not know who they want as the best candidate to represent the party and waiting for him to come and convince them, i am afraid, PDP will fail again. In my opinion, PDP delegates should forget any candidate promising heaven on earth and stick to Kwankwaso who is the best challenger to Buhari. Any other will fail woefully. |
