The concept of religion is a very tricky and complex concept to understand. When you try to be as objective as possible in dissecting religious beliefs to get to the core or root of it all, you'll be forced to say religion is nothing but a tool to manipulate or shape people's behavior and get people to reason in a controlled manner.

But then again, if you take your skepticism further into the law that establish the origin of things, either living or none-living, one will be compelled to believe that the world couldn't have just erupted from non-existence into existence. Just like it will be so lame to say the phone you're reading this from wasn't made by anyone, that it just sprout into existence from nowhere. We equally cannot say that the house we're living in wasn't built that it just spring into existence.

If you take the thoughts further, the concept of Quran and Bible as being scriptural will become clearer too. Every product should have a manual/job card. That's a concept God himself has put in place for all to follow and that's why every or most human inventions take this order too. For every invention, there's a users guide.

However, how come the existence of God is so questionable from a constructive perspective? I think this is down to our limitations as humans and not God's own flaws because he's the height of perfection. I say this because our knowledge of what is right or wrong was engineered by him... Lemme break it down for ease of comprehension. The FG has set a precedence for granting amnesty to any terrorist group that denounce their ways and surrender their arms. As you rightly said, if the govt had killed any terrorist the NA captured and not rehabilitate them under the amnesty scheme, the way and manner Gana was murdered would have been justifiable. American govt slogan/verdict for terrorist is: America does not negotiate with terrorist. This means that their govt doesn't have glove hands for terrorist whether repentant or not.

But in our own case,precedence has been set and that should have applied to Gana's case too bcuz he was in fact invited for amnesty by the government.

My concern as a citizen of this country now is that the govt has lost what is termed credibility of intent and the implications could be severe on every living thing around Benue state very soon.

If there's anything positive to learn from how BH evolves into the dreaded terrorist group they've grown to become, it is that you don't take away the queen in bee hive and not expect bee stings. I'm afraid Benue and its environs are in for a very long thing.

What makes this whole set-up worst is the manner in which it was executed. Most of the times, you'll experience fear for no reason. When things are going good, you'll dread on ‘what if this happiness goes away?’. When things are not going good, you'll still dread on what's going to happen next.

You'll get your heart broken multiple times. And you'll have to break a couple of hearts yourself. That's life. There no right and wrong here.

There are no good people/bad people. You'll have to come out of this cynical mind-set. There are only people who bring you pleasantness and unplesantness. Remember, people who bring unplesantness to you might bring pleasantness to someone else.

You'll realize that multi-tasking is not beneficial. You start focusing on one big goal/day rather than 10 small goals/day. You'll learn to differentiate between being productive and being busy.

You'll learn that not all emotions you experience are genuine. More than half of them are mere mind-games. Learn to distinguish to avoid bouts of depression.

You'll be forced to change your attitude towards failures because you'll have more failures than success. You will no longer react to events, but will eventually respond to it. Reacting will get you into more trouble. Responding will move you towards a solution.

You'll realise that you can't be friends with everyone. And you don't have to be. Accept this fact sooner than later.

You'll realise that earning respect is more difficult than earning money. And it's the respect that would eventually make you feel proud about yourself in life.
