May God manifest 10 times over for you guys, whatever you wish for minorities and for as long as you want to force people into Biafra, Nigeria will never let you go, marginalisation or not!

Brillantman: This guy is just a replica of a friend that have been living with me for close to a decade, he's been living with me and I do cater for half of his needs before I married, the problem I have with him is he's just too pompous which makes me laugh within without him knowing, he's sort of a lost fellow who want to make a career in comedy whenever he brags about how rich his dad once was and what he still stand to gain if the old man dies, how he will make life unbearable for them if he need to travel to his village because theyve forgotten about him, and what he stand to gain if a particular political party wins his state gubernatorial election one after another, to make me know that he is a fool more than I think, all the parties he always wish wins always won and he hasn't enjoy a Kobo despite the way he brags pre-elections. He's too big to cut grass, wash plates, sweep, mop the floor, fetch water etc, my wife and I take care of everything, As woman nature ought to be, it got to a stage that my wife flared up but I persuaded her not to misbehave, I told her that that she's right in all she said about him but I told her she should consider the fact that if we throw him out, the five years plus he's been living with us before then will tantamount to waste because he will be telling who cares to listen that my wife and I throw him out. Over the years, visitors to our house or neighbors no longer call him my friend when they see me, instead they ask 'Aja yin nko' ( where is your dog) because he follows me sheepishly the way Sarrki dey follow that man in London Coldroom ;DAfter wasting his life for more than six years thinking he's leeching me, he packed his bag (sorry, nylon or poly) and left around 4 in the morning after my wife lambasted him the previous night when he complained that she served him chicken wings instead of lap. Lol Una try oo. Dem suppose give una award for couple of the decade. It also reminds me of a guy that squatted with me that would consume 4 boiled eggs at a go just because he's on the hefty side and won't even consider that i used money to buy these things. DukeNija: Nairaland can actually make this guy commit suicide cos the level of anger and heat poured at him is probably unbearable. He was cursed out by people who should have adviced him. Granted he made some mistakes. I guess he has learnt never to bring personal matters to Nairaland. Nigerians are indeed very angry people but fail to direct their anger at the root cause - politicians. Nairaland is the fastest route through which people can commit suicide. Some people think that by being harsh unecessarily, it makes them smart. |

A lot of people have already gone spiritual...
The same people will collect d1ck in their mouths and see nothing wrong with it. It just seems to me that what a lot of people don't do or won't do, they will impose a religious coloration to it.
Some people are even saying it;s homosexual. If it's homosexual then what is it doing in the body of a woman?
We can all agree that the exterior is not a sex organ.
According to wikipedia, A sex organ (also called a reproductive organ, primary sex organ, or primary sexual characteristic) is any anatomical part of the body in a complex organism that is involved in sexual reproduction and together constitute the reproductive system.
So, the anus is not a sex organ neither is the boobs or putting f1ck in the mouth and so on. |
Family › Re: My Friend Wants To Chase Me Out Because Of Ordinary Milk by Afam4eva(m): 1:26am On Jun 26, 2017 |
I don't think the OP will be coming back to Nairaland in the near future to seek counsel because some people have arrogated themselves as perfect being who don't make mistakes or are so high in ethics department and you wonder why they're not already competing with Bill gates and mark zuckerberg. I'm also not surprised most of the haughty advise came from ladies.
Granted the OP made some mistakes especially in describing the milk that was shared with him as ordinary, i don't think he deserves the begative energy thrown at him. He said he was living in his own house for 6 years before his present predicament which means that he was neither lazy or a law about. He was actually earning money to fend for himself. Unfortunately he got into a tight corner and was helped by his friend/neigbour. As much as i will not personally entertain the idea of living with a man that has a wife, we don't know what life may throw at us such that we'll have no other viable option that to accept what we detest.
Now the problem he's hving is that his friend's wife (not his friend) has accused him on several occasions of being wasteful. Whether that is true or not we can't tell. But the OP;s argument is that he has never remained food and doesn't dish his own food. So, it may be a case of her looking for every slight opportunity for her husband to send this guy parking. I'm just thinking aloud.
Even though 3 spoon of milk may come across as too much. What we were not told is if the spoon was filled to the brim or if it was peak of Dano milk. All these variables will determine whether or not it was a waste. Anyways, if the owners think it's a waste then a waste it is.
The issue now is that the OP needs to find a way to get out of that place asap because more problems will keep springing up. His friend's wife may accuse him of peeping when she's having her bath or not flushing the toilet after using it. So, it wasn't really about the milk. They She needs him out asap.
@OP Abeg, go back to Calabar and restrateize and come back later. Don't allow that woman and her fellow heatbreakers on nairaland run you down. |
Politics › Re: Port Harcourt, Bonny Ports At Stake If Igbos Choose Biafra Referendum by Afam4eva(m): 11:28am On Jun 24, 2017 |
PapaBrowne: I am coming with a response and it's a lesson in strategy. @igbodefender
I was formerly a supporter of the SS being a part of the Biafra movement until I started coming across threads like this.
From my observation, IPOB has become an emotional organization that doesn't understand the concept of strategic alliances as the most important tool in winning a cause for the long term.
When you have an organization that has chosen that Biafra is solely IBO both in Language, positions and culture and yet at the same time tell you that the 10 million Efik and Ibibio people are under Biafra, then you know that some people don't understand the strategy of execution!
Suddenly Port Harcourt is Igweocha and Bonny is Igwenga in a land where Kalabaris, Ogonis, Ijaws, Ikwerres, Ndonis and a host of other people have called home for centuries.
Isnt it obvious that you are offending the people you should be courting and seeking strategic alliances with? It's a no brainer. It's blanket failure for Biafra already. Nobody that operates a theory of exclusion is ever successful in battle. Even the US when it has to go to War with small and powerless countries like Afghanistan builds a coalition of countries both small and mighty. They understand the importance of inclusive strategy.
There is too much emotion in the Biafra movement and I'm sad that it will cause another round of failure. Ojukwus biggest mistake was his attempt to force non Igbo into Biafra without them having a true stake in the decision making process and that failed strategy is beginning to repeat itself.
Telling the people of Niger Delta that there is nothing like Niger Delta or South South is a slap on a people who have chosen to represent thier minority status by a common identity. Giving the people of the Niger Delta the impression that a Biafra country would be an Igbo country is a reminder to them of how Nigeria has largely been a Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo country.
It's time for IPOB and the Biafra movement to shed the toga of emotionalism and read the art of war to all its members who don't understand that this is not a jamboree but a mission in which thier errors can cause the loss of lives of millions upon millions of people and another century of domination by the North and its supporters.
Just so you know, the North has studied the topography and are waiting patiently to instigate a crisis between the minorities of the South South and the Igbos of the South East and IPOB is giving them more than enough fodder with all this Igweocha Igwenga nonsense. And suddenly a battle that you assumed would be between The North and Igbos would suddenly be happening in Port Harcourt between Igbos and Ikwerres.
Be wise! My brother, i agree woth you 100%. It's for the same reason i don't take this present group of Biafran agitators seriously. I think it's pure ignorance at play here and listening to the utterances of Nnamdi Kanu, you would understand why a lot of them reason that way. I have been ringing it into the ears of Igbos particularly on this forum for years but the idiots won't listen. They run aroung like mad dogs claiming anything in sight and disrespecting minorities who they want to be in their Biafra and these minorities really have to be wary after hearing some of the utterances of these pro Biafra vagabonds. Like i keep saying i'm apathetic to Biafra. Whether it happens or not is a non issue but one very important to me if i'm to have any sort of sympathy for the movement is dependent on heir modus operandi. Let me use Nairaland to paint you a perfect picture about how some foolish Igbo people on here have used their own hands to make things worse for Igbos. I joined Nairaland in 2005, the year Nairaland started and i've seen the constant and consistent deterioration of brotherhood between the South-south and Igbos. Even when the tribalism thingy on nairaland started mostly between Igbos and Yorubas, you would see Ijaws, Ibibios, Ikwerres and a lot of southern minorities supporting the Igbos. But today, it's very hard to see any Niger Delta person aligning with Igbos in any argument. Take TonyeBarcanista for example, when he came to Nairaland, he was very pro Ijaw/Igbo alliance but today, he doesn't even give a flying fvck. The point i'm trying to make is that our tactic is self destructive and it's unfortunate that it been manned by semi onitsha and Aba market illiterate who doen't know jack about public relation. |

Cire80: you're talking from a complete outsider/stranger perspective. Did you say Edo is not fond of the Niger Delta stuff? Then you don't know Edo at all. Edo would rather join Biafra than join Oduduwa. Though it might sound weird to you, but I'm telling you now Na im be say you no know Edo people. Yes, they're Niger Deltans and know so and can join a Niger Delta republic. But will definitely opt for a union wth Yorubas than Igbos. They have more cultural and political relationship with Yorubas than they do Igbos. Infact majority of the anti Igbo Niger Deltans are from Edo state because they feel they have nothing in common with Igbos and are surprised when people from Delta, Rivers, Akwa-Ibom, bayelsa and Cross-River keep acting like Igbos are their closes allies in Nigeria. Just ask any Edo person you see. |
Culture › Re: 30 Interesting Facts About Some Nigerian Minority Ethnic Groups by Afam4eva(m): 10:56am On Jun 22, 2017 |
Sanchez01: Truth is, there are no similarities. Most Yorubas are uneducated when it comes to the complexities of people in Nigeria. They are so close-minded that you must be Igbo if you are neither a Yoruba nor a Hausa man. And save we choose to live on lies, there are no similarities that are glaring. Deities and ancestral roots, foods, religions, political orientations cum systems, rites and practices, fashion, etc., are not in any way related, not in the eyes of a Yoruba man, but in the eyes of both an Urhobo man and an Igbo man. So, how come they're able to tell an Hausa man. They may not be as ignorant as we think. as a matter of fact everyone is ignorant o one subject or the other. To Igbos, especially those in the east, if you're from any state in the north, you're Hausa and if you're Yoruba and also a muslim and go to mosque, you may make the cut to be called Hausa as well. So, the ignorance is a national and even global issue. |

Joavid: this migration has been happening before colonial times.
Intermarriage has happened.
we have Ebira people settlements in states like Ekiti and ondo, and they now see those states as home.
basically, we cannot give a specific number! If this is the case then some of them may be identifying themselves as Yoruba instead of Ebira. |
Culture › Re: 30 Interesting Facts About Some Nigerian Minority Ethnic Groups by Afam4eva(m): 10:37am On Jun 22, 2017 |
fratermathy: Just because you know nothing about the history, religion, and language of the minorities, doesn't mean you should assume that they are the same with that of Igbo.
Let me educate you using ONLY Urhobo now: 1. Urhobos speak Urhobo language. Igbos speak Igbo. Both languages are not from the same roots, not related, not mutually understandable and share NOTHING in common. Even in the phonetic makeup of both languages, there are no similarities.
2. Urhobo culture has very few similarities with Igbo culture. Igbos, for example, have a high bride price, in contrast to the low bride price of the Urhobos. Our traditional dressings are different, our foods are different, our outlooks are different.
3. Urhobo religion is centred around Oghene, Edjo, Orhan, etc. (God, divinities, witches). Urhobos also practice Igbe religion (white chalk religion). Igbos, on the other hand, practice Odinani as their traditional religion. There are no similarities, save for modern Christianity which binds all southerners and many middle belters together.
Now that I have deconstructed your flawed argument on the basis of culture, language and religion, what more idiocy do you have up your sleeve to prove the flawed argument that Urhobo is a tribe of Igbo? Please leave that guy. He's ignorant. But here's a question; Has anyone been able to know why Yorubas call everyone else Igbo apart from Hausa? Don't you thing they see some similarities even though you may deny they exist. |
