The governor should be arrested for "False Alarm". What a joke. These are things that Rivers, Anambra, Ogun and Kano should be saying. Kogi that is at the bottom of the log as far ad development is concerned. Their leaders are one of the worst in the country and have left the state impoverished to the level of pity. Just take a trip to their capital city and see what i'm talking about. |
Nice. |
The anthem of SEO experts that content is king is all hogwash. Good content is very good but content without traffic is nothing. It's like having a very good product that no one knows about. Isn't it better to have an average product that a lot of people know about? What frustrates a lot of people out of internet business the most is lack of adequate traffic. |
kense88:Your questions are very germaine bt it seems you've really not been paying attention. Are Igbos politicians just as corrupt and diabolical as other Nigerian politicians? Are Igbos saints who are different from other Nigerians? Hell NO Will corruption stop with Biafra? Mba These are not the problems that gave rise to ideas such as Biafra. Biafra is as a result of the evident marginalization of Igbo people within the Nierian space. Yes, our leaders re marginalizing us too but it's nothing compared to what it's coming from the center. We as a people have been conditioned to depend on other regions to succeed. When are our best going to be born in east, grow up tere, school there and pursue their career there. Our region has been decimated such that it's only importance to Igbos, is the place where they go to every christmas to visit their extended families. This is what the Nigerian state have done to us. There are 4 international airports in Nigeria in Lagos, Abuja, Port-hacourt and Kano. Why not Enugu or Owerri? Jonathan came and tried to change thigns a bit and they frustrated both him and the aviation minister citing corruption. The south-east has little to zero federal presence. Kaduna state alone hosts more federal institutions than all the south-east states out together. The list is really endless. |
Mynd44:Yes, i remember. I was expecting you to masturbate to the same statement. If that's the only tribal comment you can ascribe to my person then you need to try harder. If i'm the tribalist that you people say i am then you wouldn't keep whipping up the same comment that i made. There's supposed to be an avalanche of hate speech from me to support your assertion. |
Mynd44:Oga, point out my supposed hate or keep quiet. You may deny it all you want but i'm one of the liberal Igbos on here and i stood for the likes of Americana Igbos such as Ogugua when they were getting the heat from extremists, so i don't understand what you're saying. You can choose to believe whatever you like. |
I wish someone can just put these Canadian sisters in a plane telling them that they're going to Miami, only to divert the plane to Lagos, Nigeria with Otedola waiting for them at the airport. |
CROWNWEALTH019:I thought you said you're not interested in the Biafra. Why would they need your support? |
Can Ijaw youths just shut up of they have nothing important to do. |
Mynd44:If you have something to say, say it to me. The problem with Nigerians is that we want everybody to think the way we do without considering that there are social, economic, religious and educational differences between Nigerians. I have never come out to show any form of support to Kanu even though i understand his grouse with the federation. Show me any freedom fighter or a supposed hero in the past that was perfect? Is it Mandela? Ghandi? It's one thing to be conciliatory with a course being spearheaded by a person and it's another thing to call the person to order when they cross the line. Some of come off pretending that your only concerned about Kanu and his modus operandi when in actuall fact, you just hate the air that Igbos breathe. How come Uwazuruike that was very subtle and gentlemanly in his disposition was thrown into jail even though he towed the path that some people are advising Nnamdi Kanu to follow - DIALOGUE. So, my dear it's really not about Kanu for some of you. It's your perpetual hate for a part of this country and you can keep telling yourselves lies to help you sleep at night. |
I will keep saying that the call by Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB for disintegration does not contravene any known laws so should not be treated as a criminal case. Even though i have reservations about some of his choice of words, especially in the past, i think what he is doing is a germaine attempt to rile the government of the day to take Ndigbo seriously. However, i'm disturbed by his recent statement that if Biafra is not given a referendum, that elections will not hold in Igboland, starting with the Anambra elections that comes up in November. While i know him and his group will pull something simila to the successful sit-at-home order, which in itself is within their rights and also does ot contravene any laws, i think if he goes ahead with his threat, we may taking Anambr state and Igboland back to the dark ages. Because it might give some people who have no business being in government taking over government because the electorates did not come out to vote. We may not be whre we want to be but the Anambra state government starting from Peter Obi now to Obiano have made some leap which we're hoping that future governors will consolidate on. So, i want every right thinking Igbo man to condemn Kanu's statement and i appeal to him to withdraw his statement.

The most intelligent president of Ohanaeze ndigbo ever. This Nsukka man is doing a great job at the helm. I wonder where his brothers Okwy and Joe Nwodo are. |
This is obviously an attempt at damage control. I pity this man that is forming Jack Bauer spreading his picture all over the place. He doesn't know he's putting himself in harms way. |
Why don't they allow the parents to try the drug on the child. It won't hurt since the baby is going to be killed anyways. |
Nigeria does not listen to peacemakers. It's not until you make trouble that they will pay attention to you. |
Nice one. |
I would have said that you should go to Ondo and involve the Nigerian police. The only problem is that the transport from here to Ondo state maybe somewhere aroung 3000 to and fro and the police won't collect anything less than 5k from you plus miscellaneous expenses. You may well have spent 15k to recover 6500 naira. My brother, tehre are some scammers that can destroy your destiny if you don't just leave them alone. This is one of them. What sort of low self esteem scammer actually scams one of N6500? na wa |
Is IpobExposed actually an Igbo guy? he has a very strong Igbo accent. |
Let me remind you that i am the king of RnB. R Kelly never disappoints. Nice collabo. |
I just have to bump this thread. I want to resume my Indian movie craze but i've kinda lost touch. The last movie i watched was a movie produced aroung 2006 called "Fanaa". It has Kajol and Khan (Can't remember his first name. There are too many khans). I actually need suggestions of really good Indian movies that were produced in the last five years. It will be great ifthey're on the same level with great movies such as Khabi Kushi Kabi Gam, Kuchi Kuchi Hota hai, DON etc. |
Igbos:Being an authority is one thing and knowing about what Google has in their backend is another thing. Even SEO experts have been doing the guess game with SERPS for eons. Nobody knows all the variables that Google uses to rank pages. All we know is that there are about 200. I'll really like this board to spill the bean in more detail. |
Google's algorithm has never been public knowledge, so i don't know how the board were able to carry out their investigations. |
Lol Reno is trying to blackmail Nnamdi kanu by telling him to tone down on insulting their man Jonathan if he wants them to remain his fan.Reno should also know that Fani Kayode already knows about what Nnamdi kanu said about Yoruba people but being the politician he is, his only source of relevance is by supporting anything Kanu/Biafra/Igbo with all his might. This has nothing to do with discretion like Reno is painting as Nnamdi Kanu has never appeared to me like someone who wants to be politically correct. he says it as it is irrespective of whose ox is gored. That has been his strategy from the get go and it seems it's working magic. Now to the Issue of Jonathan. \i have said it and will continue to say it. Jonathan was very balanced in his appointments and was not skewing in favour or at the detriment of any group. That been said, he was highly incompetent and the position was bigger than him. His only saving grace is that Buhari has beaten his record in just 2 years in office. So, he can look back and say, afterall i was better than Buhari. Buhari is not just incompetent but totally clueless. |
Bleh!!! Why won't you be attracted y criminals when you're so obsessed with materialism that it beclouds your common sense to initiate a romantic relationship like a normal human being. You are what you attract. |
chuksanambra:Imagine a typical Nigerian parent with 4 children who work their asses of to feed, cloth, accomodate and send their wards to school. Do our parents have 7 heads that they're able to fend for us? How come a first born who after all the sacrifice is able to secure a job that is probbaly way better than that of his parent, have the effrontery to complain. Some fools are even saying why didn't the parents use birth control to give birth to children they can take care of. Maybe the first born shouldn't even have been born. The sperm that produced him/her shuld have probably been an episode of masturbbation. |
I've seen people bringing up this school of thought more frequently recently and i think it' imperative that i add my 2cents. We have become very stingy and greedy generation. These days people just want to enjoy by themselves without anybody to fend for. As much as i believe that the burden should be reduced on the first borns, it's important to note that almost every good thng of life usually accrues to first born but educationally, financialy etc in order for them to come out better human beings and be able to fend for the younger ones who weren't as privileged. For them to now come out when they have "Made it" and start complaining is selfish in my opinion. We're not American for fvck sake. Our families are our lives. We have to take care of them until they stand on their own feet. |
Great question. The problem with the term LOVE as defined by a lot of people is a farce and is only a representation of what their ideal man or woman should be. When actually love is supposed to connect people beyond any conceivable variable. Like a very beautiful and well endowed lady getting married to a short, black and big headed man who isn't rich. That is true love right there and not juju like a lot of people will want to believe. Now, going for your spec is a different ball game. But please don't call it love except it's truely love. It pertinent to note that people also attract what they are. It's funny how some ladies who aren't so good looking in the first place will be looking for a tall, handsome, rich and God fearing man. Examine yourself both inwards and outwards and be realistic with your expectations. I've seen people as beautiful as Agbani Darego gallivanting the streets of Lagos looking so clean and foine but i don't bother going after them because... |
One of the reasons why i stopped attending and feel awkward attending Nigerian parties is due to something that happened to me around 1999. I went to this birthday party that i was not invited to explicitly but since my sisters and some friends were invited, i just tagged along. Since i didn't really no the people there, i just sat at one corner and was watching them share food around and like i always do, i don;t rush for food. I expected that it would go around and get to me at some point. It never got to me and when i calmly tried told one of the servers who was my school mate that i had not been served, she boldly told me that i've eaten and want to eat an extra plate. Chai, it was as though the ground should open and swallow because almost everybody's attention turned on me. To save myself from further embarrassment, i reiterated that i had not been served, this time, in a more innocent looking and meek look. They refused to serve me. I left that place with my self esteem shattered and hunger in my belly. Since that day i don't attend any form of parties. Even when i rarely do, i don't ask for food. I east at home before coming. Now travelling from another state to attend a party and i don't get served food is a different ball game. I might just consider visiting a babalawo for the first time in my life. People should not just get away with wickedness. It's wrong on every level. |
I think Don Jazzy likes Linda Ikeji very much and would like to spend the rest of his life with her but he's very shy to a fault. So, the has been showing her the green light when it's supposed to be the other way around. he reminds me of me. He should man up and do the needful so that some upcoming bloggers will blow this year with their wedding story. |
There's really no correct answer for this type f subject matter as it different on variables of which the people involved are most paramount. In the past men were seen as the ultimate providers who carried all the financial responsibilities on their shoulders while women were seen as the nurturers who took care of the home. But women now say they're tired of being seen as a house or kitchen property and would have the same rights as men. That's where the term FEMINISM came from even though there are variations to this term depending on how liberal a lady is or how super crazy she is. Now, i've seen the same ladies who shout feminism on top of their lungs still telling men to proof that they're men by paying for dates. Isn't that hypocritical? Why can't you walk the talk by paying for your own meal atleast for your own nourishment. Now, from another angle, you would ask, who asked for the date? In most cases it's the man. If i'm a lady and i get asked for a date, there's a possibility that i'm broke, so the person who invited me should be the one to foot the bill. But after one or two dates, i should start having sense and be considerate. Like i said, this is not a black and white issue as culture and ambidexterity of culture plays a very big role, so it all boils sown to the individuals involved. |
Awolumote:The length that some of you will go to stupidly defend a man of God you don't even knows says a lot about how Christians don't use teir brains anymore. |
You can work from home from anywhere in Lagos. |
