Oga, we never get that time yet. We're still a third world nation and we're still getting used to the whole uber shebang in this parts. |
Lexxyla:We know all these tactics. Whenever people talk about what Ronaldo can do, they're indirectly trying to compare him to messi. I think it's a known fact that Ronaldo has grown to become an off the ball player ever since he moved to Real Madrid from Man U. No need beating a dead horse. |
Being addicted to one's mom is not bad. However, the prospective wife of a man that possesses such behavioral traits needs to decide what is important for her. If him being attached to his mother is a problem for you, then please leave him and find somebody else. Don't try to change him cos it won't work. Personally, i would love people who love people. |
The on;y thing i can agree to is the fact that Ronaldo is the best off the ball player. Messi on the other hand doesn't need to be off the ball anything because he's an all rounded players and if he isn't dribbling to score goals, he creates chances for his team mates to score goals. That for me is an exceptional player. if you like speak grammar from now till next year, Messi is miles ahead of Ronaldo in almost every facet of the round leather game. |
habeny:Keep trying to correct him and don't run for your life until when he starts practicing kung fu in marriage using you as a willing tool of course. Happy married life in advance. |
Agumbaa:possibly. |
Abraka is not in Asaba. |
Damoxy:The texture of jeans was used as an orifice to the God of Baal in the time of Moses. |
I think the is mage is apt. Whether intellectually, spiritually or physically, we know who would carry the day. @Tolexander You came to Onitsha and you did not even bother to come and greet me. |
This is one of the pro Biafran activists in ND. |
Nofuckgiven:Tana Adelana nee Egbo is Ignoring but married to a Yoruba guy. |
NwaAmaikpe:I hope you're aware that she's married. |
I think i prefer Wizkid to Davido but truth be said, Davido has released more hit songs than Wizkid. Infact, it could even be argued that wizkid has never released a hit song ever in his career. His songs could be best described as popular songs but not hits. |
HopeAtHand:I hope you know that there's a difference between IPOB and Igbo elders or leaders. The peeps that went to visit Ango Abdulahi are the so called elders. |
HopeAtHand:I've always felt you had the interest of Igbos at hand as one of your admonition has always been predicated on the fact that the Igbo political leadership lacks tact, so i wonder if that isn't what these leaders are doing. Why do you still have a problem with them being tactful? Btw, i'm not n support of their visit. Just saying. |
Should Nigeria seperate based on your groupings, here's what the nations will look like. Arewa: I think any nation that comes out from the north can't do better than they are doing in Nigeria considering the fact that they are hugely at an advantage in Nigeria and have not done much. Without oil money, the poverty in that region will skyrocket which will give room to even more fundamentalism. Niger Delta Republic: They have the natural resources but do they have the human resources to handle the resources? I think not. It's left to be seen how far they can utilize their reources as the area is very volatile to clashes still bordering on resource control. But if the leaders are very serious, things will turn around for the best, but i won't hold my breathe on that one. Oduduwa Republic: I think this is the part of Nigeria that is most ready for a republic, truth be told. But whether they can maintain the omentum outside Nigeria without money coming from the Niger Delta is another story. Lagos is not all there is to this region. Even Lagos will suffer a lot of capital flight due to the seperation of Nigeria. But they can maintain a stable economy if they out their human resource in place. Biafra: This unit will be the worst from the onset because of lack of infrastructure owing to decades of neglect from the federal government. From the onset, things will look gloomy. But they have the human resource ad very inventive. So, i think evidence of progress will start being glaring after about half a decade. |
"Get Out" is just a breathe of fresh air. For once in a long time, i enjoyed a horror movie. Thumbs up to Peele. |
SAMBHOSS:Abeg, which movie gross $1billion? |
A lot has been said about which day should qualify as the authentic democracy day between, June 12 which was the day that the much touted most peaceful election in Nigeria's history was annulled and May 29th which is currently democracy day and the day that the military government handed over power to the 4th republic civilian regime. Which date should indeed be the democracy day or is it really important to have a day called "Democracy day"? |
This government is very shameless What's your business with Britons winning elections in Britain. How does it concern the Nigerian government? Always famzing shamelessly. twa. |
Hong Kong and India were colonized by the British. Other countries that were colonized are Indonesia, Afghanistan, Vietnam and so on. |
pazienza:Imagine if the speech was reversed and is something like a Yoruba person saying that any Yoruba man that buys any item from an Igbo is an idiot. I'm very sure your reaction will be different. His speech may not be at the level of the Oba of Lagos's but it's a hate speech nonetheless. Remember that he also said that any Yoruba pastor that comes to the east should be attacked or something along those lines. Let's not try to twist this because it was it was Nnamdi kanu that said that. He's a human being after all. And i'm not saying this because according ti you, i'm trying to curry favour from Yorubas. Those guys that are molesting my habdle with their foolishness have since been ignored. I've been on this forum for 12 years to be put under pressure by some scallywags. I just have to speak the truth orrespective of whose ox is gored and you should do the same. |
pazienza:Nobody forces Ndigbo to attend these churches. I think every upright human being should condemn the hate speeches made by Nnamdi Kanu when he was beaming Radio Biafra all the way from London. I'm sure even he will be regretting some things that he has said because some people are beginning to see sense in his movement, even some non Igbos. |
OAUTemitayo:How did i stylishly support him? I'm only stating to you why he may have used a lot of hate speeches. That doesn't mean he's not culpable. |
Nnamdi Kanu has made a lot of hate speeches. Actually, he did so to be noticed and noticed he was. |
@davea I think it's a wrong premise to hinge development solely on IGR. Even though i think our governors should sit up. But truth be told, the governors in the east are not necessarily under performing compared to their counterparts throughout the country. Look at the states with the largest IGR in the country and it tells a story. Lagos, Ogun and Rivers states have the highest IGR and the reason is because.. Lagos state is the commercial hub of the country. The population is humungous and everything that matters is in Lagos. Not every state has the luck of being like Lagos. It will take decades of constant behemoth growth to compete with Lagos has far as IGR is concerned within the political frame of NIgeria. Ogun state borders Lagos and that's naturally the next place to blow up because there's lack of land in Lagos and a lot of factories have moved to the fringes of Lagos in Ogun and Ogun is enjoying the IGR that comes from these companies. Rivers state is Nigeria's oil capital. Almost every oil company that matter is in Rivers state. Another reason why south-east state post low IGR figures is that they've not put in the machinery in place to increase their IGR. Anambra for one should have one of the highest in the country, poossibly in the top 5 but even in the south-east it ranks low. |
This topic get as e be...I can see most responders already telling us how they greet everyone even babies that are still in the womb. This greeting thing is not easy and can cause an uncivil war. These days the culture that we cling to is multi faceted. While some people cling to foreign culture because it favours them, other cling to African culture for exactly the same reason. So, the OP won't blame his younger brother in-law for insisting she greets him as culture demands. If you're averse to this kind of culture then go and marry some whose family are foreign oriented. It's that simple. Btw, the first two times that you greeted him first, did he respond? I should think so. If he did then what's the issue since you;re claiming to be a foreign oriented person. A typical white man won't care how many times he greets you first as long as you respond to his greeting. So, sister, you have just as much ego as you brother in-law. The only reason you greeted him first is because you're trying to please your husband's family. So, in essence, if the greeting ish is an issue, please leave the marriage and don't come to Nairaland in some years to tell us how your husband's family did this and that. |
This scam have to stop...Firstly we have to unite against those that are against restructuring. I think i like where things are going at the moment. I'm not pro Biafra but i think the agitations and counter agitations will force the hands of the power that be to at least consider restructuring. Btw, Igbos have nothing against the average Hausa man in the streets of Kano, Kaduna or Zamfara. It's that 1% which think that they're born to rule that we have a problem with. |
What's the likelihood of finding a good man at night clubs? If you think you're a good man and you go to night clubs, what makes you think that decent girls don't also come to night clubs. Again, it's depends on your definition of decent. |
martins18:Id dem use onyekwuru, una go say why dem no use Iwobi. Abeg make we hear word. |
This team should be disbanded and Nigeria divided. This one weak me ![]() |
