The plane would have been found earlier if they had escalated their search to every part of the Indian ocean particularly the Mauritius, Reunion and Seychelles area. I guess they didn't imagine that the plane could veer that far. |

Nna, odikwa very risky. I've decided that if I must apply for this program, I must do everything it takes to be selected and I have a few questions.
First is, how can one go about being nominated by a province? A link will surely be appreciated.
I also want to know how often people who are not in Canada get job offers. Any pointers?
These are the two variables that, in my opinion will make a difference. |

Odkboy23: I think Jessie has an agenda, seriously an ex soldier to a maid....just too good to be true.
Rosie can be dumb atimes but she's not stupid, one thing I like about her is her funny accent and how she speaks.
blanca is dead for real that's what devious maids are for. to solve murders of their fellow maids.
This is the most interesting season yet, not that predictable but ok.
Carmen and Mrs Powell cracks me up everytime. Where did season 3 end cos I'm not sure if the one I watched got to the end. I assuming that Blancas murder will be solved in season 3 but so far, ivebnot even gotten a clue of who is responsible for her dissapearance. Is there a season 4? |

zandora: Yes. I used 451 because right now there's speculation that chances are that one will be more likely to be selected if they score above 450 although there's no definite proof. Btw I don't know why people call it a raffle draw or even lottery lol. That could be because there is not definite threshold that qualifies one. A lot is still based on speculation. |

dupyshoo: Hi Afam4eva,
As you rightly said, the first requirement is 67/100. In addition, based on your information such as age, no of years of work experience, IELTS score, level of education, provincial nomination among others, you will be awarded a CRS score once you enter the express entry pool. Draws for ITA are made periodically with a cut-off CRS score. It is not raffle draw!!!
I guess Zandora mentioned 451 as this is the minimum CRS score that has been given ITA so far.
You can calculate your CRS score via this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp WOW, it's really tricky. I just calclated a probable CRS score and i was barely clocking 400 and unable to reach 451 but when i added the Labout market Impact assessment, it jumped to 1013. So, in essence getting a job from an employer is a big deal. Therefore getting a good IELTS score or having a two year job experience outside Canada or having a masters degree does not really cut it. I may be wrong though. |

zandora: Firstly it isn't 69 but 67. You have to score a minimum of 67/100 first to qualify for FSW. After that you need to score high in the pool ie 451 and above to increase your chances of being selected for a draw. Thanks. I actually meant 67. BTW, which one is 451 again? My idea of this program is that if you can beat the 67 point, either a raffle draw will be done to pick people from the pool or they will probably just pick those with the highest point. |

solomonwis: You can proceed if in your self assessment, you meet up with the minimum required score point of 67 having regard to your Language (you don't have this yet),Age,work experience,Adaptability and Arranged employment. Only you can assess yourself with regards to meeting up with the required minimum points.
Please note that you might score zero in your work experience if it those not show that you have experience as outlined in the National Occupation Classification (NOC). After much thougt, i'm considering applying through this program and i must commend your resolve to provide information that will come in handy towards being selected for this program. I intend to do a self-assessment to know if i can beats the 69 score as i'm not one who deludes myself. One area that i think i'm having a problem understanding though is in the area of "Work Experience" as i can see that some other people are having the same problem. What i want to know is, how can one proof that they have the job experience provided in the form? |

benjibabs: Correct, study visa has limited working hours. No, there is nothing like conversion of visa. To work full time, you have to be either a permanent resident or a citizen and that will take you back to the immigration process. Let me rephrase my question. How can one become a permanent resident while on a study visa. |

If you throw a Canadian in UK or Germany, he would act just like the OP when using the transit system for a couple of days. So, it doesn't mean one is bush. It just means that one is not used to that kind of life. |

anonymous6: I understand what you are saying but I think because of what african American women have went through and what they still go through in America when it comes to social and beauty image which is not positive but better from decades ago however far from perfect. so I think they do it to uplift African American women and girls to a extent I understand why they do it and i really have no qualms about it. I'm only disturbed by the double standard and as much as i believe that the white people have done a lot of harm to people of color all over the world, i think there should be a level playing field of some sort by people of all races. If there is an issue with white people having an organization then same thing should be applied to black organizations. It all depends on what these organization are created for. It it's to celebrate the uniqueness of each race then fine my me but if it's to encourage some form of superiority then i'm not a fan. We always seem to overflog what the white people have done to us but we seem to forget that it's the same white people that abolished most of the things they were known for. |
