THAT IS THE PROBLEM...THERE IS NOTHING IN GEOGRAPHY CALLED SOUTH SOUTH..SO THE TERM SOUTH SOUTH IS CONFUSING AND ABBERRATION SO EXPECT THE CONFUSION HERE
You are the one that is cobfused here. No one has said that the SS is a heterogenous region buy you have taken it upon yourself to pick fights where there is none. With the way you're going, if I was from those Igbo areas in the SS, I wouldn't want to have anything to d do with your kind. Youre a disgrace.
CultureRe: South South: Nigeria's Pride Through Diversity by Afam4eva(m): 1:22pm On Aug 12, 2015
Why must you guys turn every thread into a center of rancour. Obviously, this thread was created to highlight the geographical location called the south south. If you have anything to add, just do so and stop acting like terrorists.

I know some Yoruba girls at my university who are light without bleaching.. so I guess that stereotype is smashed.
I can tell a light complexioned girl from Imo from one from Anambra let alone one that is Yoruba. They may all be fair but the tone usually gives them away.

I was at a Nigerian party the other day and I was in deep dialogue with this curvy Yoruba girl. Then out of the blue, she asked me what me tribe was and she stated that "I looked Igbo".. So I'm wondering if it is possible to identify a particular ethnic group based on certain physical features.
Yes, its possible to discern the tribe someone comes from and I possess that gift pretty well. Though this days, its becoming harder to decipher but still possible. There was a girl I saw and just to prove of how sure i was that she was Igbo, I approached her and started speaking Igbo only for her to tell me that she's Yoruba but she told me she gets it a lot from people thinking she's Igbo.

on this thread I read northern Igbo are looked down upon by southern Igbo...well,that didn't register with me. infact,it is my first hearing and very hard to believe because of our achievements both in academics ,business and above our noble culture which is what is recognized as Igbo culture. And if any of you confident you have any reason to look down on northern Igbo open the a danm thread and we will join you the
I think it's mostly the other way around. Northern Igbos looking down on Southern Igbos or Anambra Igbos looking down on everyone else.

I prefer Surulere remix to the original and j can't see that many people here do too. I don't think it deserves to be on this list.

CrimeRe: Unilag's Rape: He's Not Our Lecturer -ASUU Chairman by Afam4eva(m): 7:44pm On Aug 10, 2015
Does it really matter if he's a Unilag lecturer or a lecturer at all. What matters is if he's a rapist or not and their supposed act happened in the confines of the school, so ASUU should shut up and focus on when next to call a strike action and let the police do their job.

3sc fans are like arsenal. make too much noise and no were on the log

Afam4eva how market
Do 3sc fans make noise? Maybe in Ibadan cos i don't really notice. They always narrowly escape relegation every season. It's only a matter of time for them to go back from where they came. Insurance of Benin have been waiting for them in the second division to relive some of the old rivalry that the two has had.

As for Rangers, i don't know what to say cos it seems like a curse. We have always come close but never go home with anything. We came closest that season that Pillars won through the back door but we've forgiven them. I just thank God that we never finish at the bottom of the log. We shall onlt get better.

Rangers for Life.

Maye not thisb season but money changes things especially here in NIgeria. With the kind of money that Ifeanyi Uba is pumping into this team, things will look up next season. But they should get the best technical team and players.

Its worth it and not so expensive unless you dont go with money and try to earn income there without any good connections. Plus no time to travel if always working there.

I have been so far to Ecuador, Peru, Panama, CostaRica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize and Mexico in Latin America.
I would like to at least include Brazil to my list one day. But right now i am working on Africa.

Any one who is accustomed to African countries like Nigeria will easily handle being in latin america.

The cheapest countries there are Peru, ecuador, nicaragua, Honduras and guatemala. The most expensive are down far south like Brazil, Argentina and Chile. But even so, they are not so expensive that you cant find better hotel prices than in Nigeria.
Brazil has also been on my mind for some time now and i'm thinking of next year's olympic games as an opportunity. I just need to start brushing up on my Spanish and Portugese.

Other Nigerian business men need to take a cue from Ifeanyi Uba and support the development of sports in Nigeria b adopting a football club through an acquisition or sponsorship.

Haba bros, Klaus is a super human with magical powers. Ra's Al Ghul is a mere mortal that is only feared by mortals.Klaus will so slaughter him. Infact, a baby vampire would do the job just fine.
TV/MoviesRe: Half Of The Yellow Sun Vs Oct 1 (which Do You Think Is Better And Why?) by Afam4eva(m): 12:33pm On Aug 10, 2015
The fact that most people here think that October 1 was a better movie is a plus for Nollywood. Half of a Yellow Sun is Hollywood right? I haven't watched October 1st but having watched HOAYS, i can't still remember where the plot was going. The movie was crap.

Presently, to say I feel hurt is an understatement. I wont publish the name of the company or the guy himself but I have handed him over to the almighty God who is the supreme Judge. May God judge him. Please friends, be very careful who you trust, dont ever forgo any opportunity for another even when its sure you got it.
If you have handed him to almighty God then why create a topic? This is the problem with you Nigerians. All you do is whine but never help people to help you. Why can't you publish the name of the person and company?

Lol answer me first na.

Okay here's my answer. There in no way should be one specifically for white people.

Now please answer
But there should be one for black people? That's not fair. I believe in fairness.

Answering your question is tricky. I guess the more suppressed group deserves to give themselves a little push. I don't know what a WET will be like.

Sorry to unearth this old thread...

There is nothing racist about a Black Miss Pennsylvania pageant just like there's nothing racist about the BET awards. Anyone who thinks otherwise is confused. There are numerous places to get an explanation from I hate having conversations like that.

Worst thing is when black people themselves say sh*t like that. Double standard my foot. There should even be more things for "only" black people.

OP do you live in the U.S.
Do you also think there should be one for specifically white people.?

I won't be surprised if Tinubu has a hand in these revelations. Tinubu will do anything to clip Fashola's wings right now for daring to defy him.

I live in lagos and have always known that all the hype about Fashola were nothing but mere hype.
It wasn't mere hype. If you're truthful to yourself, you'll agree that he gave Lagos a lifeline. But that does not mean that he's not corrupt.
