asha 80: funny you are now saying judging from what you used to say prior to 2011 elections in imo where you said that okigwe zone be allowed to finish its four years through ohakim after orlu zone was 'allowed' the same time for udenwa.https://www.nairaland.com/asha%202/posts
Hypocrisy Unlimited grin People no longer have shame in this country.

Abagworo: I personally would have loved to see Rochas there but we Igbos say "Uka akparakpa Isi ka eji ekwe ya".So the rotation agreement deserves to be honored for the good of us all.

If elected Ararume will out-perform Ohakim though.

valicious1: Its also the duty of the police to curtail and checkmate suspicious influx of life threatening individuals into a given location especially when the chief security officer of the state is fully aware of this oncoming danger and doing nothing about it.
The police should curtain the movement of a Nigerian within Nigerian? Are you kidding me?

Since he was a Councillor, it's possibly a political assassination. Autopsy should be carried out on the corpse to find out the cause of his death.

valicious1: Afam its you that seriously needs to get a job. Look, we all are Nigerians, we all know what's happening in Nigeria and we know who is who in Nigeria.
Their are certain groups and types of people one would mention and you won't need any professor to tutor you on the level of threats they can pose. Igbo people have been stereotyped to be shrewd and dubious when it comes to business dealings, yoruba people known to be very cunny and deceptive when dealing with other people.
Hausas are generally Aggresive and hostile and they can easily kill and destroy with little or no provocation. I vehemently understand op's fears and dismay pertaining this matter on ground because whenever you see these group of people flooding into one location like this, know that something is definitely gonna be at stake now or soonest.
Rochas okorocha kwesiri imuru anya becos ndi awusa di njo hoo haa and afam4eva u sef wey de tok like say u be saint suppose no wetin dey onboard.
It's the duty of the police to maintain law and order. You don't cure a headache by cutting off the head. Hausa/Fulanis are Nigerians and can live wherever they want to.

kettykin: Did anyone else notice this, this reminded me of the mistake of jos, from asking for a political ward they would move to councillorship and to local government and before you get the joke Abia will now be like plateau.
They actually have a right to demand anything in an ideal settings. We may not like the way things has degenerated in Jos but the Hausas are right that they should be given equall rights as the indegenes of that state. That's how things are supposed to be.

Controversy: I hope you will still say the same thing when they start unleashing mayhem in the state with their cow
gratiaeo: I have not heard where a group of Igbo people overrun a village in the night killing/maiming, rapping woman, burning down houses destroying live stocks etc. Mind you i was second person to condemn op. Its not all about Igbo even Yorubas awakening now, Hausas Fulani are like cancer.........
Both of you are obviously ignorant because you don't know the difference between Hausa and Fulani. even the people the OP saw may not even be Hausa. Even if it's Fulani people, so they should be stopped from moving freely just because other fulanis are soiling their name?

Abagworo: The writer should be arrested ASAP as PDP has been known to play this kind of politics.
It always comes down to PDP. You can't impregante your wife, it's PDP. You failed your exam, it's PDP. Your money is missing, it's PDP. What has PDP got to do with a supposed influx of Hausas into Owerri? Jeez!!!
PoliticsRe: The Spate Of Hausas In Owerri by Afam4eva(m): 8:10am On Dec 09, 2013
Are Hausas not Nigerians? They have the right to live anywhere they choose to. It's not your business. Go get a job.

I used to think like the professor but not anymore. I don't think the problem is Religion but poverty and illiteracy. Poor and illiterate people always use something as a guise to keep themselves at their comfort zone.

olisaokere: Esogbue was pro igbo unity not until he got influenced by the Anti igbo bigots. So i wont be surprised if he comes out to say he is no longer igbo but that wouldnt bother me anyways. For most of us who know who we are cant be influenced and can never deny our Igbo Origin.
I used to follow Emeka when he was writing pro-Igbo articles but recently, he resents anything Igbo. You'll hardly hear him mention Igbo in his articles.

tonychristopher: today is Sunday . I am catching fun with the level of buffonry here. pls don't say we,but use I. not everybody in delta state sees this from your confused view. do you reason at al. asaba that are full blooded igbos has anambrarians swallowed them up? you do not only have identity issue but a complete complex syndrome. the fear of igbos is the beginning of wisdom. I think that's what they have told you. maybe your son of one itinerant Benin man trying to soil the names of other people. talk for yourself biko not for others ok. ask one funny esogbue the embarrassment he faced ....why beg us for the creation of your state. this mentality is what your neighbours in ishan, urhobo etc will see and won't trust you neither will I trust you. no wonder the term saboteurs was apt for individuals like you. oh what a shame ....trace your lineage biko .....I am just getting warmed up,my torpedoes are laser guided. do simple research or ask other tribes then comeback and rant ok.
Are you referring to Emeka Esogbue? What embarrassment was that? I know Emeka has been more into Anioma stuff than Igbo stuff that he used to be pre-occupied with.
FashionRe: Can You SHINE With An Aba Made Product by Afam4eva(m): 8:53pm On Dec 08, 2013
gedtalks: There are designer names like Prada, Calvin Klien, D&G, Ejiro Amos Tafari, Denim Kitenge .... and lots more. When you wear any of these it makes you feel cool even if the product isn't as good as the name rings.
But bros, which one be Ejiro Amos and Tafari abi you dey advertise your friend label?

@topic
The complaint many people have with Aba made products is with the quality, so if the quality is good then what's stopping you from wearing them?

Richy.:
I am happy you realize that there are minority graduates in the village. so your argument now is that if those in the city cannot speak good English apparently, those in the village cannot. and you forgot that most of them went to secondary school. and you equally forgot that the best place to learn english language was in secondary school and not even the universities.
My friend, i'm talking of old men and women who probably never stepped their foot in a school or stopped at the primary school level. Which village are you from btw?
