Idrismusty97: So i no fit school abroad again.Toefl is just meant to test your knowledge of the English langiage and is not really used for admission. Infact, some schools can waive it if you tell them you're from Commonwealth Nigeria or they ascertain that you don't need the exam. |
This is very wicked of them. Why does not ETS always exaggerate like this. Is the Collegeboard still not conducting SAT successfully in Nigeria? If not for the ogbanje English that some Nigerians speak, i see no reason why Nigerian should even be writing Toefl cos those questions are for people that don't know what "Come" is in English. Any Nigerian that fails toefl deserves to be flogged. |
He's just ruff, rugged and tough and not necessarily ugly. I've seen worse. |
WHξξ∟s:Must he be healed immediately. We should commend the gesture and not whether or not he was healed. |
chukwudi44: Peter Obi going to the crusade to "campaign' is another matter entirely. The Big questionnow is HOW DID PETER OBI"S PRESENSE AT THE ADORATION GROUND CAUSE THE STAMPEDE?Exactly my point. |
We drew with Sweden the first time we played them but beat them by 3 goals to nil the second time. We beat the Mexicans by 6-1 the first time and this time we'll beat them by 10-0. This has got to be the easiest final ever. But let's not underrate them sha. |
How many pastors of today will agree to touch a man with glaring disease on his body. Our perfume wearing pastors will rather distribute handkerchiefs and anointing oil. |
For Joe Igbokwe, it's all politics but i can take a thing or two from this article. He's trying to highlight the hypocrisy that is prevalent in our society. This hypocrisy is the reason why some parent will shield one of their son who killed another of their son but will call for the head of someone who's not a member of their family who has killed their son. This hypocrisy is evident in all facets of our daily life and it's very irritating. But on the other hand, if i were to play the devil's advocate, i would ask, is it certain that it was Peter Obi's presence that led to the stampede. That's not to take away the repugnance in taking a political campaign to a vigil. It's an insult to the Christian faith. I know how the media would have been abuzz had it been Ngige that went to campaign at the vigil and people died. I want to implore my people that we should always be fair at all times. As much as i condemned Fashola's deportation of some Nigeria, i did not view it from a tribal prism like a lot of people. It would have been better if that deportation was viewed from a constitutional point as opposed to that of tribal myopia. |
Ile-Ife:Is that the reason why the Goa people are all out against Nigerians? I don't think so. They're accusing Nigerians of committing crimes just the same way jews are accusing blacks in Israel of the same thing. |
Ile-Ife:This is similar to what Jews are doing to blacks in Israel. |
These Nigerians, as much as i believe they have the right to make their grievances known as it relates to the death of their fellow country man in Goa, i don't think it's right for them to go about destroying government infrastructure. This is something they can't even try in Nigeria because they'll be shot at sight let alone in a country like India. I think that's the height of disrespect. The Indian authorities should also employ due diligence in dealing with criminals and stop labeling every Nigerian in that country criminals. They should be aware that the government of Nigeria is ready to pay eye for eye and blood for blood. I think Indians benefit from Nigeria than Nigerians benefit from India, so they'll be the ones to lose. he who has an ear let him hear. Only God knows that i can't live in a place where my kind are hated. How does one even survive in such an atmosphere. |
Jaidey-one:You gbamed the post you quoted yet go ahead to say the opposite. If there are Nigerians committing crimes in Goa, they should be arrested just like Indian involved in crime in Nigeria should be arrested but they should stop discriminating against Nigerians just because of a few bad eggs. |
hercules07: I think the airport will start off as a cargo airport with the basic facilities,, a runway and a building with navigational equipment, if the agro industry can kick off in the state, we will see it being converted to a full airport.I think this is exactly what should be done. Almost every cargo airport have the capability of becoming a full blown airport they it has to start from somewhere. |
It's obvious that Amaechi is a very good footballer. Messi and Ronaldo have nothing on him. I think there's something he's trying to get from Jonathan and the PDP and is trying to use the APC to get it. I don't think he's really interested in leaving PDP. Amaechi is one of those people that, when they leave the PDP, they don't take anything along with them. They become the nonentities they were before they became important. Amaechi has no stronghold in Rivers like some people will want us to believe. The only reason why he's still pulling some crowd is because he's the incumbent. The moment, he leaves office, him and Orji Uzor Kalu will be in the same category. |
AjanleKoko: Indian bosses are not bad.Agreed that soem Nigerian employees can be lazy but these Indian bosses(most) want people to work so hard for soo little. There's nothing wrong in working soo hard but the reward should be commensurate with the work put in. But no, these Indian people are stingy and will rather die than pay their employees well. |

They're granting citizenship to foreigners yet some Nigerians are not yet citizens of their own country. |
I must commend Aregbesola's resolve to develop Osun state to the extent that Osun will be able to compete with other major cities. While i think every state probably needs an airport, i don't think the time for that is now. There are other modes of transportation that Osun can invest in to achieve a relative result to what it wants to achieve with the airport. I don't know why every State want to build an airport at this time. Ekiti wants to build, Abia wants to build etc etc. Are there no airports bordering these states that they can use while investing in other variables. There's an airport in Ibadan and Akure yet they're barely functional and Ibadan is experiences more traffic than any part of the SW apart from Lagos, so where's the traffic going to come from? How about Osun investing in a cargo airport as opposed to a regular airport. States have to understand their idiosyncrasies before embarking on white elephant projects that will add little to the state at the end. |
Even if they pick a referee from Ethiopia, we're condemned to win this match. |
I know about Okro and not Yam. There's a town in Kwara state that has the highest number of twin births in Nigeria and they eat Okro like no tomorrow. |
Na waoo...The woman deserves to be sued ![]() |
smartchoice: Just coming from that particular hospital and I can tell you something is amiss with the nurses....civility, professionalism gone with the winds! That's a norm in Nigeria but those people knew all this before admitting their family member there. |
cardoso111: Last batch you mean?Ya |
When are we going to start keeping records? Without a database, this bike wouldn't have been found. |
talktimi: There is precedence, though i dont condone jungle justice or barbaric behavior of any kind but many of our doctors and nurses have been known to administer wrong drugs leading to fatalities. Ive personally lost a sibling in such a way.Can they prove that it was the injection administered by the Nurse that killed the woman. If they were that good they should have kept her at home and treated her themselves. I see nothing wrong in relations being angry following the death of their family member but it's preposterous for them to want to kill a nurse for something they can't prove. |
I wonder if it's legal to spit as you go. |
demelza: No one is passing the blame. These are two mature men fighting in the marketplace being goaded on by onlookers. What happened to the years they worked together, that should count for something. The years they worked together sho0uld have counted for something when Wande decided to release the song without seeking permission from Jazzy. As it is, Jazzy is not even interested in the song, he just wants an acknowledgement and he's ready to let the song go. is that too much to ask? Wande coal did not handle it well, so no one should blame Jazzy for taking the same route. |
Booty butt chic: Nobody said Don jazzy shld not accuse wande, yes we know wande is wrong and can also be jailed 4 wat he did,,,wat we are sayin is as a grown man,don jazy with his right senses shld have done dis privately in d right way,not by causing traffic on twItter and attractin unnecesary attention cos am not sure d whole world would pity him(if dats wat he's expectin....because even by postin d shit on twittet hasn't helped him in anyway ....so it absolute stupidity he has definately displayed!Even if Don Jazzy went to CNN to announce it, there's nothing wrong in that as the song has already been released. You guys should focus on the thief and stop passing the blame on the supposed victim. |
This has always been my grouse with APC. I remember how Gbawe was celebrating the fact that the much hated IBB said something good about APC and suddenly what comes from IBB's mouth becomes gospel. This is the hypocrisy that is APC. Apart from that, i don't have any problem with them. They use a different rule to judge PDP and a seperate one from themselves. They should learn to look into the mirror every once in a while before critiquing others. |
demelza: You didnt have to tell me to shut up before making your point. I will answer you anyway. And Wande couldn't communicate with Jazzy before releasing the song but you want the person stolen from to exercise courtesy. I wonder how some of you Nigerians reason. No wonder the government is stealing us blind because we're always ready to defend thieves. Wande Coal is lucky this is Nigeria cos if it was in an advanced country that he tried this BS, his azz would have been fried. |
CyberG: Your premise is completely FLAWED when you emphasis getting the office and relegate the track record and performance of the office holder to the background! This is why the country is not moving forward! I would rather have an unknown person as president who would create an environment like the one I live in the West rather than someone from my family who will keep Nigeria the way it is or unable to make any changes, can you do the same? Clearly not because you are here advocating Rochas (just say you want Ibo close to the presidential office or as president) but note that your wish does not and can never translate to that of the majority! In my opinion, Ibos will NOT vote for anybody else except GEJ and they've said that over and over again, why do you insist on pretending that we don't know that?Going by this premise then who's more qualified than Fashola in APC? It seems APC are more interested in winning than actually presenting the ideal candidate. For now, APC is trying to win an election and they would present someone they feel will help them win as opposed to someone who has a track record of performance. The best they can do is to reach a compromise between the two. I really don't care about APC neither do i care about any party cos i'm confused right now and i'm finding it difficult making a choice. I could care less if APC presents an Igbo candidate. I'm only saying what i nthink will be the deal breaker for them. |
Obiagelli: You should notice that those playing the ethnic card are on the pdp side, it is called divide and ruleSo, why's APC not presenting Fashola? Is Buhari more qualified than Fashola? It seems to me that it's APC that using the regional sentiments to field a candidate in the forthcoming election. |

We go to foreign countries and engage in crime yet we expect to be respected. This minister is not very far away from the truth.
