Demdem: Good development from the Retardeen but to be honest, its belated.
Was in Bayelsa two days ago and wept throughout. market women arent even helping matters at all.
Its a pity.
Is it today you know that most nigerians and not civilized and inhuman? Instead of assisting the flood victims, people are busy capitalizing on their predicament to extort the victims.

I heard FRSC impounded vehicles of people who packed the few belongings they could salvage and were heading to Port Harcourt. Market women increasing prices of foods, especially price of the activist food (G4) has quadrupled from N300 to N1,500 within two days of the flooding.

It is funny how things like dis don't come up when or while dating instead it comes up when it is marriage.

Which money was she saving?
read well before you type nonsense.

Angelahoney: Hello Nlanders. I have been hearing a lot about this site for a long time. I often visit this site but I've never been a member.
I have a problem with my marriage and I hope there are matured people who can help.
My husband of 5 years want to divorce me for trivial reason. It even sounds funny talking about it.

Last week [b]he asked me to buy fresh catfish and goat meat. He said he wanted to eat catfish pepper soup, while I prepare egusi soup with the goat meat. I wanted something different so I prepared goat meat pepper soup and used the cat fish for egusi soup.

His inlaws came and they enjoyed it. But my husband was frowning. He said I'm too stuborn and he refused to talk to me. He has refused to sleep with me. I can't go a week without his sensual touch. To crown it all, he's threatening for a divorce. What do I do?

Pls your advice is needed. Thank. (I'm still pretty and marketable but he doesn't appreciate that).

Idokojimmy: Lagos State Government on Wednesday said it would no longer allow the use of vehicles with number plates from other states of the federation for commercial transportation in the state.

It also advised residents with private vehicles to change to the state’s number plates to reflect the fact that they are living in Lagos.
The Director, Vehicle Inspection Office, Mr, Gbolahan Toriola, said the measure was meant to achieve “sanity, standard, safety and security” as stipulated by the road traffic law.

Toriola spoke at the vehicle inspection safety campaign organised by the Ministry of Transportation in conjunction with the Political and Legislative Bureau for commercial drivers in Ikeja.

He said, “There is nothing wrong in bringing commercial buses from other states. But if you must use it in Lagos, you have to change the colour and re-register it with us so that we have your information in our database
“This is a standard procedure. As a matter of fact, it you have lived in a state for about three months, you are no longer a visitor and therefore you must change your number plate to reflect the state. It is done in America and other developed nations.

“Of course, this provision did not affect inter-state vehicles carrying passenger from other state. But we don’t expect them to pick or drop passengers at every bus stop. There are dedicated bus stops and parks for inter-state vehicles. If they violate this and we get them, they will face our law.
“You must put waste basket in your buses; there must be first aid box; you must carry extra tyres. These are what our law stipulates.”
The VIO boss who highlighted the provisions of the traffic law, advised them to cooperate with the government to ensure security in the state.

A director in the ministry, Mr. Bola Matanmi, also advised the drivers not to turn themselves to traffic officials, but instead apply to the ministry so that they would be given a Special Marshall status
He added that the union would be given the privilege to choose the colour of the uniform for drivers and conductors.

Special Adviser to the Governor on Political and Legislative Affairs, Mr. Muslim Folami, said the traffic law, which has 43 sections and four schedules was for the interest of Lagosians. He urged the drivers to submit to the law for sanity and safety.

Super1759: I think this is mallam's plan, Lets watch.
It is not the mallams plan.
USA has Dollars in notes and Cents in coins
UK has Pounds in notes and Pence in coins
Ghana has Cedis in notes and pesewas in coins
Nigeria had Naira in Notes and Kobo in coins except 50kobo that was in notes.
the N1 coin that was introduced was too bulky and heavy, may be it was designed that way to differentiate it from the smaller denominations (kobo)

Now mallam wants to change N5, N10, N20 & N50 to coins, Naira not kobo huh

my brother don't bother yourself with this rubbish.

the thing he posted there is for "CABLE" not "SATELLITE", they are just playing on people's ignorance to make some cool cash.

cable tv is available in North America-US,Canada and Europe-UK and some other European countries. That is the TV is connected to your house through cable nor wireless. The same cable can be used for internet. So the device you are seeing if for such arrangements and not for satellite system. Satellite has a similar system but use different equipment for such, plus dstv, mytv, hitv are not providing internet services with their satellite tv.

yemmight: For a long time that i have known you here, you way has always been upside down, so i am used to it. Sometimes i wonder if you walk using your head. Even battling drainage since Tinubu era has not resolved the problem but WIP. So for you, one year is enough to handle drainage in a State like Oyo? i dont even know the planet you presently occupying but if you are close to your homeland, you should be precise in reasoning. I was in Ibadan last weekend and i can clearly see the difference btw Kobojunkle, Akala and Ajimobi. Two weekends ago, I was also in Ogun State and i saw massive construction of road network with good drainage and i can easily compare Kobojunkle, Gbenga Daniel and Amosun.
But by your m0r0nic posts on nairaland it is more than enough for GEJ grin grin
