ddim22: God bless you for this comment.Unless the police become efficient, jungle justice will never stop.If the police can come to the rescue of residents when they are called, then the people will have faith in the police. But what we have is a police force that habitually gives flimsy and fake excuses why they can not come to a place when robbery is going on.The people have no choice but to protect themselves by killing any armedrobber caught.

metodman: The diference between America's peaceful elections and Nigeria's elections is we the masses... A lot of gullible people are ready to kill over a bag of rice or a thousand. There is poverty in America as well but people are not easily manipulated or used for violence. To Americans it is all about your policies. Democratic partys's ideologies and principles against Republicans.

Its only in Nigeria you will see hoodlums killing for someone who they have never met and will never meet. It is only in Nigeria where you see contestants not present at the debates cos 'they too busy'. It is only in Nigeria where you can contest under Acn in 2011, Pdp in 2015 and LP in 2019

Yes in America, a lot of people still vote based on sentiments but their sentiments are based on party ideologies.

Funny enough these stupid acts happen all over Africa and that says a lot about level of intelligence, mentality and backwardness

I might be wrong
1000% correct, see as Nigerians who haven't even stepped out of this country are already crying foul while the contestant had already accepted defeat.

quicksylva: Not necessary a low class person per say, I don't like seeing what am wearing on more than two or more person.

I remembered when I was still in the university. It was a sunday, so I was planning 2go to church that morning. I brought out my best shirt that I bought from a Lagos boutique. As a fine boy well packaged i.e Swatch watch, Motorola Razor, All star Converse etc. I'll cut to the chase

As I was leaving my room, i saw another guy putting on the shirt I was wearing, the guy was also going to church also, I said to myself I wasn't going to turn back after all it's only the two of us that own that type of shirt (4 my mind).

As I entered the Church, to my greatest surprise we were like 10 people putting on the replica of my shirt, I couldn't turn back it was already late to do that. Through out the mass I didn't stand up and I was the last person to leave the church.

Ever since then, if am buying cloth, I make sure I check the next five boutique just in case they sell something similar.grin
u sure say na church u go or na party? pesin wey go to serve God because of other people wear the same type of shirt no fit serve God again?

Serendipity: But I tell you that if you know your onions you can get bail free; even if the police talk gibberish, you can easily through your lawyer. apply for bail at the nearest magistrate or high court
Most times the bail money poor folks pay at the station is less than what lawyers demand as payment for their service. So it is easier/cheaper to pay the police than go through a lawyer even though the victim is innocent.

Toks2008: you see what i mean? Please define continuous poverty. 1 year, 5 years or more?

The point is that few Nigerian girls will bear with you for a specific duration of time which is dependent on their breaking point and once this point is reached, pray that no rich suitor comes here way cos if this happens, you will be forgotten in a flash and you will cease to exist in her world.

Besides, what are my hands made for if it is not to create wealth..But to live in CONTINOUS poverty?? Tufia! I wasn't born to suffer.I can strive to make things work.

Politics › Re: Biafra-arewa-oodua: The Battle Begins... by agitator: 9:19am On Oct 31, 2012
Sirniyeh: Hello nairalanders,
There have been several speculations lingering in the air that the entity called Nigeria will be no more, probably before 2015. This however may look like irony before some people but those endowed with extra insight had foreseen the attempt of those regions in actualising this goal.
The three major clamouring regions are Biafrans, Arewa and Oodua. From all indications, it's conspicious that Arewa people are employing crook method to actualise their dream of seperation by indirectly influencing sharia to be introduced to nigeria systems which eventually led to mobilizing a sect call boko haram to disorganize the whole nation. This strategic attempt however xrays how foolish they are in their thinking.
In same mission, Igbos arise with their Biafran nation. The difference between Arewa and Biafran is the level of education employed by biafran leaders. They followed due process to actualise their dream unlike those illiterates who believe more in violence. Meanwhile, the biafrans started it wrong by chosen Lagos for their first protest instead of Abuja, the seat of power. But this reveals how fearful are biafrans to near boko boys.
However, the mission continues. But from all ramifications, it exhibits that the fear has gripped Oodua people to launch their own campaign. They are just mouth-gifted people who are traitors to themselves. A meeting was held in Abraham Adesanya house before his demise where all yoruba leaders met to discuss Oodua nation, I was present to witness how yorubas can not unite forever. We have ACN that claims to be Awo party and yet another Afenifere that against ACN.
Who portrays more intelligence among the three? We await Nov5 to watch what comes out after. If Hausas and yorubas are gripped with fear of self declaration, Igbos have taken bold steps. Others knew this and that's why they denied Igbo the presidency.
Back to the history, it was Igbo man, Chief Enahoro who first raised the alarm of self independence in 1953 before finally got it 1960. It is happening again, if Biafra comes to reality, what will happen to nothern vampires and western coward traitors?
The battle begins
Oodua and Arewa have never clamoured for separation. OP, put on your thinking cap before opening your mouth to say anything or type on any forum. Only Biafrans have been clamouring for separation.

Oodua leeches and Arewa parasites know they will be the biggest losers if there is any break-up. angry angry

If your assertion that the three major groups are clamouring for break is correct, then what or which group(s) is/are keeping the country together? undecided undecided

Remii: there is no way you do something of that manitude and the President will not know. Unless he is not the President, who signs C of O, no be Governors? So how do you adjust boundary of a state that will lead to tranfer of people and number of LGAs to another state and the President will not know especially when it affects his primary consistuency?
Some people have experienced more of military rule, and this has impaired their judgement.
Do you think it is easy for the president to adjust boundary in a democracy? undecided

Hollywood movies are equally criticized but unlike nigerians they don't take it personal.

they correct such mistakes in the next movie produced.

HARRY POTTER, TERMINATOR, etc, in fact a whole website is dedicated to their mistakes including shots.

mitchyy: #2. Don't Stay friends
There is no way you can remain friends with an ex if you still have feelings for him. You can eventually be friends but not immediately after a breakup. Haba! Give yourself some time. Remaining friends only gives him/her permission to treat you like crap while he/she borrows money from you, has occasional sex with you when he can’t find anyone else, and sometimes lean on you for emotional support when he has a bad day! Accept the truth. He’s not going to change his mind and realize breaking up with you was a bad idea. He’s just going to use you until he finds someone to take your place. So please, DO NOT stay friends with him for now!
This write up is lopsided in favour of ladies.

Anyway, on a side note she separated and later asked to be friends. Who am I to say no with the fringe benefits that comes with it? undecided undecided undecided
Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, has statutory security roles on the nation’s territorial waters. A few short months ago, the federal government performed a Strategic Concessioning of the nation’s waterways to Global West Vessel Specialist Agency, GWVSA, owned by a "former" terrorist Tompolo, for a minimum of $103million.

One would think that Tompolo, The Navy, and NIMASA would have obtained enough intelligence to thwart this kind of piracy. If the vessel involved was into bunkering, why didn't Tompolo's security outfit and others, impound the vessel before the pirates got to them. Did the pirates have better intelligence than Tompolo, NIMASA, and the Navy huh

Let them continue to deceive themselves. SMH
There has never been a clear cut leader in militancy struggle. It had always been pockets of criminals (under the guise of militants)operating in the Niger Delta. Most Niger Deltans knew this fake (illegal) amnesty will result to bigger problems in future.
