In 2019, Nigeria oil revenue was $64.9 billion, so this people abroad are telling us that they send almost half of the country's oil revenue. What a joke.

Infact oil and agriculture are the bulk of Nigeria's revenue, not diaspora remittance.

The only people who can give real data about individual remittance are the apps and the banks.

You are saying you don't know the difference between diaspora remittance and foreign direct investment (FDI). The annual remittance from diaspora is several fold higher than FDI because foreign investors see Nigeria as a high risk country and the FDI is even quite low. Probably just couple of billions of dollars unlike diaspora funds that run up to over $20 billion. Why did CBN recently change policy that allow receiving dollars instead of Naira when fund is sent from abroad by Nigerians. If Nigeria only rely on dollars from crude oil sales, the economy would have collapse and even Dangote project will be affected since he needs to purchase equipments which he get from CBN. Our criminal senators won't see enough dollars to fund their foreign trips. Its diaspora remittance that allowed countries like China and India advanced significantly in last two decades because those remittance were directed at infrastructural development unlike Nigerians remittance that go mostly to private projects and family members. A lot can be found online about diaspora remittance. I even read a world Bank document on it.

It's interesting that my response here came via a new knowledge I learn yesterday even though I have been aware that it's your destiny (which we yoruba call "Ayanmo" or "Ori" that dictate whether an individual will be rich in life. Now, the "Ori" of Akapo was summoned, and was asked "is it true that it was all the things needed for Akapo sacrifices that were delivered to you by Orunmila, then Akapo's "Ori" replied "yes, all required sacrifices were delivered". Then, Olodumare asked Akapo's "Ori", then why didn't you release good fortunes to Akapo? Then Akapo's "Ori" replied that the agreement between him and Akapo before he came to the world was that good fortune would only be with Akapo towards the later part of his life. And that all his good fortune would be delivered to him at the time of his life that they both agreed to. On hearing this, Akapo became perplexed, and he prostrated flat at the feet of Orunmila, begging to be forgiven. That if he had known he wouldn't have resorted to petitioning Orunmila before Olodumare. Then, Orunmila accepted his request to be forgiven. However, Orunmila demanded from Olodumare that that from that day onward, human should never be allowed to bring petitions directly before Olodumare because humans are very good with frivolous petitions. And because Olodumare love human so much and take human issues seriously, it will be better to avoid this kind of disagreements between deities and humans, if humans are not allowed to have direct contact with Olodumare. Olodumare accepted Orunmila's demand that this was best way to go to avoid hearing one-sided stories of humans.

What are you talking about? It's my bill, not yours. That cover phones for 5 members of the family including monthly payment of insurance in case phones are damaged in order to get replacement. If you live in the US, you won't argue it. Someone claiming to live in Ontario claims he pay $400 for communication. Now, because I once lived there, I could dispute that. But he know better because there could other fees attached to that.
