JidennaJason:Fastest economy, where? How many people did Jonathan lifted out of poverty? Were they not sharing money left, right and centre when oil price was over $100? They are all useless, both Jonathan and Buhari. There is no difference. Point to just one infrastructure that significantly improved from Jonathan effort. Just one. |
joepepsy:"There's no country that will totally give you freedom to live except your country of Origin but unfortunately we have a useless country." With this kind of mindset, people will continually remain in poverty, when you keep saying day and night making pronouncements that your country "useless", your country is this or that. You never say anything positive. It's like cursing oneself. Because, you are what you think. How can someone who believe he is from a useless country not be useless himself. Irrespective of Nigeria situation, use your mouth to bless and say positive things on your country. It is not Nigeria that is bad because all what people need, Nigeria the geographical entity and mother nature has provided. Put the blame on people that are responsible for the situation, not the country. |
AmuRubber:I tire for people wey no sabi football wondering how someone with 4 goals and 2 assist can win such award. Them think say na only strikers dey for field. |
Imagine a minister telling us China who are giving to loan in order to come make money off us and possibly hope that we won't be able to pay so they can seize the asset, now telling us China will cancel the loan or agreement because we want to investigate details of the agreement. What is he hiding? Please people should investigate to find out if the Chinese are not currently building a mansion for Amaechi somewhere within Nigeria or in Dubai. That’s the strategy Chinese often use. Though they execute corrupt public officials in their country but will go around Africa to offer kickbacks. |
Osagyefo98:Reason why Tanzania president tore agreements China signed into pieces saying only a drunken man could have signed it. The Chinese are offering some kind of kickbacks in some forms to African government officials so that they keep closed eyes to their tricks. Tanzania president cancel a $10 chinese loan. Now the country funds its project itself. All the money being stolen left, right, and center in the trillion is more than enough to fund the infrastructure we need in Nigeria. Imagine that N15 trillion ($39 billion) was lost in the Niger Delta over a 20 year period with nothing concrete to show for it. Obasanjo blew another $16 billion on power with no result. I believe all these funds are sitting in the personal accounts of some people. If we start calculating what has been stolen last 30 years alone, it could run into $1 trillion dollar. Just those two example is $55 billion. |
gasparpisciotta:Opinion of a poverty stricken mind. |
motionarena:What does the Bible say about not sparing the rods for mischievous kids? Especially one that take what doesn't belong to him or her. I guess in your case, you are a parent that will reward a child with a Nintendo for stealing from the shelves at Walmart. Keep it up. |
Swizbank:A little kid of this age with tears and cry like that.. Naaa |
This woman will just let Americans with opposing ideologies use her "head to break coconut". No white doctor will dare come out to do this but as usual a black doctor is offering herself on the "slaughter" slab. It's their wahala, let them fight their ideological war. Soon, they will withdraw her license. More so, this woman is an evangelical pastor or something going by information online. I believe all this has something to do with evangelical christians connection with Trump. |
winkmart:And the same Chinese people and businesses will come to Nigeria to offer bribe to public officials. Some countries have law that forbids bribe at home but promotes it internationally. |
JAMO84:You must be ignorant to say this. You think anyone who is not a citizen of a US can come in there and get any position. Even some ordinary job positions in the private or public sector you can't except you are a citizen, not to talk of ambassador. In some cases, you be born in US to attain certain positions. |
TruthinAction:As if we don't know this already. A thief is a thief. Don't justify stupidity. |
It is this type of mentality that is killing Nigerians. The lack of objective reasoning. So far the thieves are of your tribe, it is okay. What is bad is bad. People who reason this way will likely remain poor for life. It's like my saying it's okay for Obasa or Tinubu to continue to rob Lagos taxpayers because nothing was done to act on the corruption report on Malami. How nauseating is bad. Anyone that reason this way is also a potential thief. Asari has "stolen" from his people one or the other. So, he is not different. It's our oil money mentality. |
temptnow:It can't be "exploration" because you can't be exploring what you already find with a confirmed location. Exploitation is still a fair word to use since you have started mining the resources. |
AntiChristian:Here Bill Gates Microsoft was issued a patent number for their body chip. Is it a coincidence that the patent number for their body chip invention is "060606". Note that you don't get to choose your patent number yourself as it is issued by the authorizing organization. The number 2020 that comes before 060606 stand for the year, WO stand for World Intellectual Property Organization. Some will say it's not for a body chip but if you are versed in patent or invention (i have 2 patents), you can hide "things" or intentions with words to confuse others that may want to come up with something similar. It mention measuring human "body activity".

See your leaders, dragging themselves in the mud in the public square over who bought car for who, or who was in the habit of "obtaining" Atiku wristwatches. What do you expect from father of Lagos area boys and thugs? Is that not how his boys and disciples obtain mobile phones and personal properties from members of the public and strangers in Lagos. |
EastGold:It's obvious who is mentally sick here. The deluded Nigerians like you that keep voting for politicians who used the Bible and quoran to vote, knowing fully well the oath is not binding and they continue to mess with left, right and center. The whiteman knew what he was doing. That's why he collected "Saturday" from you and handed you "Sunday". He brainwashed you knowing fully well your power as a people lie in your tradition. |
"We urge our stakeholders to regard the post as part of the propaganda tactics of those who want the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, to be scrapped to deny the people of the region, the benefit of infrastructural and economic development." See the nonsense these people in NDDC put out. So, who has so far denied the Niger Deltans the benefits of infrastructural and economic development? Is it not Niger Deltan elites that were appointed into NDDC. See them trying to shift blame for their corruption and incompetence. |
TheFreeOne:Can't most of you reason that there is a connection between conflicts in Mali and other neighbouring countries and peace in Nigeria. Where do you all think those bandits are coming from? Do you think they are mainly Nigerians? |
Unnerve:Visual inspection of a suspicious aircraft? Who does that in this 21st century? Don't expect them to tell you what they are up to, especially because they need to do such at specific distance from the suspected aircraft. Don't be surprised there may be technologies to detect arms or if it's a passenger plane. I believe there are techs out there to do such. Only those in that area of expertise can dispute such. Even with no knowledge in such field but with my expert science background I can easily imagine sensors for such material or humans inside a plane. Every natural or man-made material will always emit some form of EMR waves. Even a thermal IR scan of the entire length of the plane excluding engine sections may reveal body heatmap from passengers (and i just confirmed online that thermal IR scan is actually used for detecting passengers and other materials in aircraft but for different context, so it is theoretically possible for military purposes). And that may be why the US military aircraft need to come close to the Iranian plane. |
illitrate:All the story about lost Canon camera and IMEI thing or whatever by the police is just scoping to make him believe he was truly tracked. It's a simple scam. Someone gave his details and phone number. Someone who know he could afford to pay N185k to the police. What proof did the police show him that he was indeed tracked? Just word of mouth? |
Trust22:That your friend story get as e be. He picked a phone on the road. Really? I may believe your own side but that side of picking up a phone on the road na cock and bull story. The same the guy who was trying to blackmail Salawa Abeni with nude photos claimed he found her SIM on the ground somewhere. It seem finding SIM and phone on the road in public is a common thing in Nigeria. |
Emyo:What if this is a new scamming strategy by security officials to extort money from people? They will just call phone numbers randomly or have someone who know the victim supply them the number since they have to be sure it must be someone who can afford to pay. What scamming trick we won't see in Nigeria. |
Dotherightthing:See English teacher. Try go correct people using your native language to write. Then, people will take you serious. Can you even speak or write in your native language? Just a curious question. |
jeff1607:Going by the title before reading the entire story, I was already wondering that this go lead to palaver going by the way most Nigerians or Nigerian organizations do things. I was actually expecting to read that entire money was given to the family and then they have to give the lady something. I am glad it was done wisely. Or one should assume that the player himself decided who should get what since he must have identified the beneficiaries when filling the insurance form. This is typical for life insurance. I supposed most Nigerians are not used to this. The insurance payment must have been issued by an insurance company. So, it seem Rangers must have been paying insurance premiums for each of the players. Great idea to attract best players. |
obonujoker:You got that wrong. Money is not the spirit but the spirits are in human. So, one of these spirits is the one that represent greed. So, it's this spirit that take possession of people. Though, money itself is controlled by a benevolent being called "Aje" in Yoruba (deity for wealth) but I do not believe that "Aje" reside in paper money. Money is just one of the many material things that represents wealth. |
vikkimimi:Forget Nigerians in that area. Once a lady I employed as a director with monthly pay of over N100k over 5years ago, stole my company data, stole my clients, and after I sacked her for what she did, she sent an email to me saying God will repay me for how I treated her. So, don't be fooled when people are using God's name. Here is someone I gave personal laptop to make her work easy, was liberal to her using "american" style of employer-employee relationship. Forget those religious zealots. They worst past. |
iI felt the racist Turkish sport managers couldn't stand a black African making such demand. I bet Mikel wouldn't have got treated that way if he wasn't black or if he was caucasian. I love the fact that he made the right demand. |
Newboss:And who taught you these false narratives. It's like a robber that chose to sell stolen properties. He and the buyer if the stolen items will be charged to court as suspects. For the slavery falsehood you are perpetrating, only a fraction of Africans were sold by people who only share skin colour with them because they were either prisoners of war or people with different ethnic groups that do not regard themselves as the same. That is still evident today. |
JaphNice:I feel sorry for you. They are objects of power because they are storehouses of a culture identity, history, religion, and tradition. Why do think invaders of a particular kingdom or empire in ancient times always target cultural artefacts as first point of attack or secondary objects of attack. To destroy a civilization, target the objects that define their identity or culture either physically or mentally. Europeans use that strategy all over Africa. Africa is in a mess today partly because people have a warped sense of identity, wanting to be what they are not. Thats why Fela said "who be government teacher? Culture and tradition". And when elements of those culture and traditions have been stolen, a people tend to act as one got lost in a wilderness. |
It's when I read things like this that I do not feel mad at those Yahoo-Yahoo boys. The French are the worst when it come to the issue of stolen artefact. To the point that they suggest to loan stolen artefacts to the original owners. Just imagine the callousness. |
