What goes up must surely come down to the reach of the poor masses.
If you wish to reap from the fruits of your labour you would not try that. Don't let your romance with poverty be a curse on you. Get out of poverty by practising the habits of the rich. It's what you think that make you.

See someone here said students do this in America. Yes, we know. They end up often in strip clubs, porn stars or 16yr old baby-mama. Are we in America? Some Nigerians need to have their heads checked. How do you compare the modern day Babylon to Nigeria.

I think Nigerian students really need to be careful about using social media to propagate their criticism. This is probably the third case in recent times. We should understand that despite being idealistic and all, nothing is really going to change through internet rant. Rather post pictures of cats or internet memes if you have nothing else to do with your data.
You surely don't deserve that breath that come through your nostrils. I pray you mistakenly step on the foot of an army officer in public.

You are right, just as Nigeria is a British contraption, Britain is using Hausa-Fuani to front it, they don't want to answer British empire to avoid Russia and America raising eyebrows that they want to take over Africa wink
You are all sick in the head. You always have something to cry about. Go from your own company. Ordinary food you eat you can't produce.

So, you think that all the parts used to manufacture a vehicle by big auto companies are manufactured by these companies. All the parts are manufactured by other companies around the world or locally..and assembled by the auto companies.

When some people cry "Dangote this, Dangote that" ... here is another successful businessman that started from an humble beginning from making motorcycles parts to manufacturing vehicles. If not for the "waked" mentality of Nigerians and obnoxious taste for foreign products, this man should be on the Forbes list by now. Imagine the huge Nigerian market. I learn there are about 12 million units of vehicles on Nigeria roads. A market share of 25% alone by Innoson will have huge impact on the company and also help boost quality of cars manufactured. And then over 1 billion African market. If Nigerians refuse to purchase a car manufactured by a Nigerian company, how would other Africans buy the vehicles.

We can’t have people like chinua, chiamada, wole etc yet They approve Animal farm for kids undecided
Really? Animal is still being read in high school.in Nigeria. Even Things Fall Apart is one of books recommended for students in the US. I know we used it back in the days but Animal Farm was top of the list.

What's the business of government establishing industries? I thought Nigeria is practising capitalism. What happened to all the factories and others that government created back in the days, like textile mills and cocoa plantations, etc.

Government should face the business of infrastructural development and create policies that encourage private individuals to create these industries. Maybe they are looking at the opportunity to steal. Especially because it's coming from Orji Kalu.

You guys should understand the context of those comments. First thing to note is that it's coming from black American females. Not Nigerians or Africans. Sad to say this, they do not have a culture. So, anything goes. Or where in America do you hear husband paying dowries to bride family. Maybe among immigrant Africans or very conscious American-Afrucan families, which is rare.
Romance › Re: Ladies Kick Against Their Kids Taking Up Their Husband’s Name In Marriage by ajl: 2:20pm On Nov 16, 2019
Without reading this, I knew this would be coming from some African-American women. They have been used to destroy the black American male. Though I understand that some of their male have choose to be irresponsible but their women are among the tools the white man has used to destroy the black family as a unit. I ran into a white guy who made what could be termed a racist comment. He said he acknowledged the fact that the black family is in crises in the USA, and said further that he put the blame on a social program that was implemented by one of their presidents back in the days (can't remember the name). It's a kind of program that give a lot of social benefits to single mothers. He said this encouraged a lot of black American women to become single parents once they realized that they do not need their men to survive. One of the reasons you see a lot of black teenage girls having babies as single mother.

See what Nigerians did to a Nigerian company. Now the company has been bought over by a foreigner. I guess the militants are happy now. There will be Britons to kidnap. Lazy set of people.

I don’t know what black people have done in this world that makes everyone hate us, hating on someone just for having more melanin?!!!. The moment you’re born black you automatically have a stereotype to beat which follows you all through your life no matter how many times you beat it. You have to work extra hard, be extra nice and a whole lot of extra extra things to just be able to live like every other person especially when you’re born in predominantly non black nations(african nations included) except you’re born into affluence, it’s worse when you travel to western and Asian countries where even the lowest of the low will feel they’re better than You just because you’re black. The world is a sad place cry cry cry
If all black people, most especially Nigerians, know themselves and how much they are blessed and what they can achieve if they do away with all negative virtues like greed, envy, selfishness, and related vices, as well as unite by working together, all other race will be at your foot. History tell us that civilization started in Africa. Imagine this, that ancient Egyptian and Nubian civilizations that emerged in Africa existed for more than 5,000 years and were mostly black culture before foreigners invadion. Even today with all modern technology no one fully understands how they achieved all they did. Now a race that emerged much recently just after the last ice-age is claiming superiority over other races. Time is everything. When the white man ancestors were living like caveman during the ice age the black people already built advanced empires. As we always say "no condition is permanent". First thing you can do to yourself and your kids is know your history. Here is just one of what the bible says about knowing your own history ..

Job 8:8-10 ESV
“For inquire, please, of bygone ages, and consider what the fathers have searched out. For we are but of yesterday and know nothing, for our days on earth are a shadow. Will they not teach you and tell you and utter words out of their understanding?
Sports › Re: Proof Match Officials Were Against Manchester City In Game With Liverpool by ajl: 3:12pm On Nov 13, 2019
Someone must be a crook to think that the referee should award a penalty for that. First, the liverpool player left hand was to his left-side extended in natural downward direction and was not extended outward deliberately or accidentally to obstruct the ball. It's normal for Man City players to cry for penalty. But if you a soccer player yourself who play for fun and see the Liverpool player body posture, it was obviously not a penalty.
Romance › Re: Kemi Or Ore: Who Should He Marry? - Chat Between 2 Friends Goes Viral by ajl: 3:37pm On Nov 12, 2019
KEMI
Pros
-Good nature and welcoming.
-Not promiscuous. Virgin until you disvirgined her.
-Less financial pressure from family
-Generous
-Will likely go to great length to please you and family members

Cons
-Lack sexual experience.
-Not as physically endowed as rival.
-Cannot cook swallow.

ORE
Pros
-Physically endowed.
-Better sexual experience.
-Probably not a deceptive individual.
-Enterprising, can be financially independent.

Cons
-Potentially promiscuous, already dated/slept with a friend.
-Stubborn
-Likelihood of financial pressure from her family.
-May not be welcoming to family members.
-Surely not welcoming to friends.

Young man, Kemi is obviously the winner. The only thing you seem attracted to Ore is her physical attribute and sex. But it's already obvious that Ore is not a deceptive person. Does not hide her feeling. You can make Ore a better person if you have enough skill and experience to manage her.
What if Kemi is just being deceptive. Only you can find out.

Keep quiet! Liar. Were you even born then. Buhari was in power from December 1983 to August 1985. IBB ruled from then until sometime in 1994. Buhari did not take any loan. Yes, we may not agree with his policies now. The only thing Buhari did wrong during his regime in the 80s was back-dating a decree in order to ensure capital punishment for 3 drug traffickers that were sentenced to death. Jailing Fela was also a mistake.

Don't get me wrong, I want to see a strong Benin just like I want to see the whole of Africa flourish and become a paradise on earth but this report is a big lie coming from France and it is a weak attempt to undermine Nigeria's economic importance in the region. We do not want goods smuggled into our country. France deal with it and get the hell off our behind.
Thanks for this post. Buttress my points on France above. And who has been arming Boko Haram in order to destabilize the biggest player in Ecowas? Your guess is as good as mine.

IMF lies! IMF president is Christine Lagarde, a French citizen. Benin Republic is one of the 14 "colonies" of France in Africa. So, what do you expect IMF led by a French woman to push out to the world. Watch the video below to understand the "crimes" of France against these 14 African countries. And France just forced the African Union to sack AU Ambassador to USA because she criticized France colonial tax. All these countries reserve is in France. These countries borrow from the same reserve with interest rate charged by France on it. France invest the funds in France economy without any returns to the countries. Modern day slavery ...

Does anyone know this bright young man? He need serious advice. He should have got a US patent on what he developed. Here is what Twitter is going to do once they employ him ... Twitter will file a patent on the same tool and it will now belong to twitter .... what he would get is just his salary plus a modest bonus. Talking from experience. Our youths need to be exposed to how wealth is created in the West. It starts with Intellectual Property. Here is a Wikipedia info on patent filed by Twitter...for twitter...

"Twitter has received a patent for, well, Twitter. Originally filed in 2008, the patent describes a "device independent message distribution platform," and it was officially granted Tuesday by The U.S. Patents and Trademark Office. ... You can read the full patent filing on the patent office website.Mar 20, 2013"

These public officials are simply stupid. They simply do not understand capitalism they claim to operate. Why not allow private companies adopt the stadiums and the names of the stadium would bear the companies names. That way funding is guaranteed for their maintenance so far they host events to get exposure for the companies.
