mamdanju:Like he is a coward like you. Someone who has lived in the USA for over 10 yrs but deliberately refused to apply for US citizenship. |
These fake low esteem "wigged" wannabe black women. |
King44:I agree that he is one of our major problems, not just in the southwest but across Nigeria. My point is some paid govt agents on this site are using Jagaban to fan ethnic sentiments (i e. Igbo vs Yoruba). The same way they use Nnamdi Kanu sentiments; even though Nnamdi Kanu and Sowore agree on so many things except on this issue of breakup of Nigeria. Sowore believe is that if Nigeria is working for all its citizens, no one would be talking about breaking away from Nigeria. So let us give ourselves a chance to make Nigeria work first, and when we get to that time if you think that it's still not working for you then you have a right to a referendum. So, that's why Sowore is making this effort to force the political elites to get Nigeria to work for everyone so that the Nnamdi Kanu option won't be the first and only option out of the current mess. These are my personal opinion having followed the activities of both individuals overtime. |
jayfolarin:You are so right about this. Like the way Russian operatives used the social media to influence Anerican public prior to last USA, there are Nigeria govt paid "internet warriors" on Nairaland because it is the most popular news and social site in Nigeria. By their words you will know them. They used tribal comments and other strategies outlined above to dissuade members of the public using this site. They are usually the ones "crying" that Sowore is getting paid back for helping bring down Jonathan in 2015. They will also use Jagaban name in their tribalistic posts. Some will even claim that the international community does not have time for what's happening to Sowore in Nigeria. You just listen to your conscience and do what is right. Imagine this, Nigeria's population will be about 400 million by 2050. If you are in your 20s - 30s, please imagine what your life will be like if things continue this way. If you think 2050 is far, come ask me. Thinking back to 1989, the Babangida's Strutural Adjustment Program years is just like yesterday. And we thought we had it so bad then because I was in my first year at the University of Ibadan living comfortably on just N150 per month. By 2050, maybe you guys will be feeding on one another. Help change Nigeria's course into total doom. |
Guyman02:Look at this one o. You no get shame? How can you compare a young chap that is standing up against tyranny and for the future of the unborn Nigerians to someone that is accused of laundering funds probably "stolen" from a govt agency for the Niger Delta. Na so tribal sentiments block your brain to the point say you no fit reason again. Go borrow brain young man. |
Eteka1:It's quite possible. There are videos and pictures of some of them. Though some wore masks. These images can be released to public domain and a request is made to members of the public to help identify them. They will have neighbours or even relatives (and haters) that will give them away. |
SultanYoung:Would you even be able to sell one bottle of that honey.... |
What I love most are the brand names. I recently visited Lagos and was shopping around for an hotel in the Lekki-Ajah area. One hotel had all its rooms named after major US cities. The other hotel I eventually settled for because of its ambience and quality had its reception area and restaurant littered with portraits of foreign non-American cities. I was puzzled. Nigerians are the most "koon" white-ass lickers. Thank Innoson for this. This is coming from a south-westerner. Anything Nigerian or African I support. We just have to focus more on creating quality durable products. It's not magic. |
So, it's a crime for a news publisher to report genuine election results before overnight election magic happens while other local media houses failed to do that? So, when the same guy was publishing news that favoured the survival and emergence of Jonathan post-Yardua death, did you all criticized him for doing that. We must do right at all times irrespective of who it favour or disfavour. |
BluntBoy:And Jonathan would have welcomed IMF recommendation with open arms. Go ask Argentina. Their inflation level is over 50%. We many people like us supported Buhari because of the fact that most thought he could fight Boko Haram and corruption better. Why? Because he seemed to be a no-nonsense individual and military general. But he now turned out to be a disaster. The wakeup call for me was the mass killing by his kinsmen in the middle belt. And this cold-hearted man even attended a public wedding in the middle of the killing. That hit me |
VeeVeeMyLuv:Even after all the revelations, you guys are still crying over Jonathan 2015 election loss? So, what should we prefer? Corrupt incompetence and a weak president or a corrupt tyrant? We want none of the two, so that's why a sensible citizen will stand against each. And you won't seek to replace one with another except we are trying to play God by claiming prior to 2015 election that we could see tomorrow. Once beaten twice shy you should say. That's enough. |
NwaAmaikpe:Who is this nonentity with lopsided mentality. Read over what you posted one more time. What concern Achebe or Nobel laureate award with this issue. Can you folks ever get off your personal hatred and "dark energy". It kills from within and shrinks people of your kind from blossoming in the real world. Go get some therapeutic help if you can't fight this alone. |
agbangam:So, God will come from heaven to conduct election and "fix" election result to suit you. What are the responsibilities of the citizens. Those that collected N500 to sell their vote or exchange their vote for a bag of garri/groundnut; those that sponsored violence on election day, or stole ballot boxes... so it was God that did all these in human form? |
gypsey:What have you used the common sense given to you for? |
IkeOnyia:Just stay quiet if you live in a cave somewhere in Nigeria. Don't blame anyone for been a "Mr. Nobody". I know some low-lives nonentities could becone envious of others because of their miserable lives. It's actually more common among we Yorubas. Are you one? 1. Proudlyngwa:The irony of it all is that drilling borehole for water supply shouldn't be a common thing in a city. It's normal for rural and sub-urban settlements. Back in the days we had running water taps in houses on Lagos Island, and there were public water taps too, where individuals living in houses without taps used to go fetch water. I remember that one can easily connect taps to main underground water pipeline belonging to the city. I saw this on several occasions. Then well was also not common not to talk of boreholes. On our street (Tokunboh St.), I remember one house had a well along a stretch of two blocks I was familiar with. We used to go fetch water from the well if tap water wasn't running. We always had to go far to get water in other wells in the neighborhood, which indicates that open water well was also a rarity back in the days. |
Stillthebest:That's not right. Rural settlements always source water from boreholes because it is not economically viable to connect such settlements to main water supply used by cities. |
Toosure70:Common stop that. What earthquake? It's not as simple as that because chances of earthquake depend on local geology like presence of fault line which is not present in this part of the world. Rather than earthquake, what's possible is land subsidence (i.e. sinking) because removal of water leaves air-spaces within previous water-bearing rocks underground which cause the land to sink since there is no strong underground support offered by hydraulic pressure due to the presence of water. It may also cause sinkholes. Land subsidence is common in some oilfields due to decades of pumping oil plus production water out of the ground. |
Nicklaus619:Who taught you English at school. Go and check the meaning of "blackmail". And ask Jonathan how he became the president. |
Alphafeezay:Like he is a "pauper mind" like you. |
You are all fooling yourself. A former governor in jail in Nigeria. These individuals are either somewhere in Nigeria under house arrest or have quietly sneaked out of Nigeria with people thinking they are in jail. Even ordinary citizen criminals are let off and replaced by innocent victims. The level of corruption in Nigeria is beyond what any word in a dictionary can describe. |
Harrynight:There are so many of them including my "Yoruba" demon tribesman that own Nicon Noga hotel. He contested for election in one of the southwest states. Can't remember is name now. He is a confirmed crook. These are the folks Obasanjo enriched. |
AkeNathan:Why can you people close your eyes to the wrongs that some people, especially businessmen, either Igbo or Yoruba does. Someone collected loan and does not want to pay back, and upon that made false claim on recovered asset. What do you call that? These are very sharp practices in public and private entities that got the country into this mess. Apparently only your ethnic group exist in Nigeria out of the over 200 ethnic groups. How many Yoruba or Hausa people will come out here to defend known Yoruba or Hausa crooks. |
jahsharon:Which elders are you talking about. The armed robbers in "babaringa" or tye and coat. |
This is what I suspect. You were using Google map on your phone without a mobile phone holder (like in image). I was in Lagos recently, almost all the 30plus Taxify/Uber drivers I rode with did not have a phone holder. If that's what you did, the FRSC guys did the right thing.
|
holocron:Why all these unnecessary conjectures? As if there are no precedents. Even some mothers will keep quiet in order to save their marriage and the family from shame. |
I watched a Yoruba movie (Mask) yesterday that dealt with the same issue. Please, do the right thing. The man is "sick" and need help by spending sometime behind bar. He would never stop and the woman would not report him to authorities on her own, just like in the movie. Please be courageous and do the right because you will be saving a life and a community. |
Mokason28:Yes, you are right but there have been over 100 mass shooting per year in the USA carried out by American citizens. You won't hear a lot about this form of terrorism. There have been over 300 mass shooting in 2019 alone; at this point more than the number of days so far this year. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/mass-shootings-2019-more-mass-shootings-than-days-so-far-this-year/ |
Fadomero: My! You craze tire |
She most likely has mental illness. She has gone through a divorce, probably lost her home and family because she now live alone in her vehicle. This is part of reality of life in the Western world, especially outcome of divorce. Usually one of the couple will lose out, often the men. Partly why some divorced Nigerian ex-couple end up killing one another because they can't bear the material loss mentally. |
Aidejay:20 years is too long. Ask about Nigerian socialites Wasiu Ayinde sang praises to less than 2 decades ago. |
This chap is taking away these kids from their God ordained future.
