In fairness, the herdsmen went and reported the case to the police, and the police acted.

That is the main take away.

For once there was no reprisal attack, which would have engendered another reprisal attack, which would have led to more unnecessary deaths.

But the thing is, most Nigerians, whether fulani herdsmen or farmers, prefer to take the quck way out.Because complaining to the police takes timmme..... Like the guys who killed the cows, the better thing they should have done is complained to the police. But no, they wanted quick solution.

(N.B This comment does not mean I support any side in this fulani herdsmen crisis. What i support is law and order, not quick solutions)

Modified...For those of you complaining about 'bias'..the police does arrest fulani herdsmen, as well as farmers. Also, the fact that the police is moving fast to respond to this case shows that for once the Police don't want the crisis escalating to something bigger.

I have been working for a tier 1 Bank in Nigeria for some time and so far it has been quite good. I work with great people and the pay is reasonable. Recently, I got an offer to work in a multinational telecoms company. While this seems like a good offer, I am worried about working for Chinese/Indian companies because of the negative report about them generally. Why would one of the two largest religions in Nigeria want to be benefitting off others as though it was a minority group... If islam was a minority group capable of being oppressed, I would have asked that the church let this matter rest.

Imagine a school like Landmark university in Kwara - just look at that beautiful school, fantastic road network and buildings with consistent electricity and zero input from govt. All built with over 15 billion naira solely from Christian people.

Instead of the Muslims to start funding theirs to match at par with Landmark, they won't.

Example, Christians are on number 40th university since privatization in 1999, Muslims are on number 5 since God knows when. Later they would be looking for govt to take over All those schools and want to wear hijab there. Knowing fully well Christians own 95% of religious founded schools.

Stop islamizing our church schools or public schools (which are meant to be secular).
If you want to challenge Christianity then collect license like everyone else.. Stop using government and sham judgements as a tool to compete. Fin.

Her neighbours said she SLUMPED AND DIED in her house on Sunday. They said they don't know any of her relatives.

Her phone is locked and they're unable to access her contact list.

I'm posting this topic here with the hope that a friend who knows her family would see it and provide leads on how her family could be reached to claim her remains.

We are many. I do construction although not really residential. The business side is my major challenge.

I deliberately kept this to my dad alone because recently I had to deal with him on various issues.
My relationship with my mum is essentially dead! I live two worlds with her. Most of our conversations is me listening to her fights with my dad and things I don't believe in. The only thing is that at least I can stand beside her while she talks and at the very least, I can communicate basic things with her, like "help me buy this foodstuff"

Tbh, its a totally big topic with my mum, but I think I prefer to keep this one sided for now... None of them have an idea about my personal life.

I don't know the feeling when people put their mum online and say nice things there, infact when she calls me about "mothers day" I genuinely feel manipulated
