Yeah. Giggs should not be brought in in times of emergencies. At
such times, what we need is pace and penetration. The type Nani
can offer.

Giggs can still play some European matches. His experience will
come in handy.

@ sauron,

Don't mind me. My usual life/workstyle takes over my leisure
which includes nairaland. Hardly in one place. Doubt I'll be a
great husband. Typing this from stanstead. Bloody expensive
stuff.

Out of our old guards, only Neville seems out of place at the
moment especially with Brown Rafael doing greatly there.

Scholes especially will still be useful for us.

So sauron and dayokanu are still battling it out here. . .

Nice one. . .

I won't go into who is a better player. Not my style. I judge
players on how important they are for their sides.

Carrick is more important to Utd than Ballack is to Chelsea  grin

PapaBrowne:
The bubble will definitely pop soonest. There is no way you can sustain the trend.

A glut(oversupply of properties) will actually cause the bubble to burst.

It is simple. The reason for these prices is that the only acceptable area for High networth individauls in all of Lagos remains Ikoyi, VI and more recently Lekki. The demand for properties in these areas far outweighs supply.

Whats happening though is that, the trend would encourage massive investments in quality, high end, highrise real estate. Many of these properties would be highrise in order for the investors to cover the costs for their investmenst on the expensive plots of Land they purchased.
In two or three years time when most of these properties are ready, the supply would outpace demand and prices would begin to fall.

Add that to the fact that companies would start reviewing the cost of doing business in Lagos and begin to seek cheaper alternatives.

However, In my true opinion the craze in prices as with many other things Nigerian is fueled by a combination of greed and pomposity, really!
I dont see no bubble bursting.

You seem to underestimate the cash flowing around in
Nigeria

@ fredasue,

It's very difficult to do. Even if you get an ISBN and someone
still sells your product, do you want to go all over the place
searching for the person with the law?

Come one. Worry yourself about more productive things. Don't
let that be the reason why you won't sell your ebook online.

Because people are not willing to help you with their paypal

Anyway, did the Zenith Bank card go? Were you buying

No one can tell you the business you should do. You are the
one to determine that.

There are many factors you should consider though. . .

- You interest

- The demands of the public

- Your experience

- Your target

And more. . .

Whatever you do, make sure you're in control.

Unfortunately, I don't do yahoo chat with my clients. It
eats too much into my time. That is why I come to other
people's forums to discuss on an open platform. I still
went ahead to create my own forum so we can discuss
further.

@ everyone,

My assistant showed me this thread a couple of hours ago. Your
comments have been favourable and I'm thankful for that.

I always ensure I deliver value all the time as I've learnt that
top marketers that one will last in business if you care more about
the value you are giving rather than the money one is receiving.

@ztyle,

I've been a member for sometime. I however do most of my posting
at the sports section.

I do not help people verify paypal accounts. I've got a verified account
myself but doing it for others is not something I do.

@ mtyekinni,

I don't own Internet Marketing Nigeria. It's owned by my good friend,
Lateef Olajide.

@ wealthce0,

I try to stand out from the crowd of seminar organizers because I teach
only the things I do. I teach info marketing, Internet marketing, copywriting,
direct response marketing, sports betting and a bit of motivation. These are
the things I not only teach but DO everyday.

I however can organize a seminar I know nothing about but I WILL NOT
be the speaker/resource person. That I think is fair enough.

Thanks again.

in the entire history of english football, makelele is probably the only man to have a position named after him, even though, in world terms,

he was not it's inventor.

england had always nurtured tough defensive wing-halves but was slow to recognise the significance of the role in modern football of the centrally

positioned holding midfielder.

and to english eyes, at least, no one has refined the demands of the job to such a pitch of perfection as the little man.
Very true and sensible talk.

We've always had defensive midfielders in football. Marcel Desailly at some point
when he was at Milan before he moved to centre back.

Even here in Nigeria, I remember Clemence Westerhoff crying out for a defensive
midfielder (he called it "destroyer"wink until he found a certain Sunday Oliseh.

Yet the role has been coined the "makelele role". Shows how great this guy has
been.

Then for those talking about misplaced passes. . .

I remember when Chelsea came to OT two seasons ago and there was this leaked
half time talk by Fergie. In the tape, Fergie was hollering all over the dressing room
on his players to watch makelele's passes.

Fergie won't be doing that if he was a master of misplaced passes.
SportsRe: Who Will U Vote As Ur World Best Dis Yr: C. Ronaldo Or Who? by akinalabi(m): 11:04am On Jul 19, 2008
I will punch you for saying that. cheesy

Cassillas to win the world player of the year over Ronaldo. Now
I know you've just being taunting us and pulling our legs so far.

Shebi na you confess here. . .

https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-127136.128.html#msg2439186

After the Euro's I now feel its going to be C. Ronaldo since nobody was really outstanding in The Spanish team that won. It was more of a collective effort.

To me Senna was the best.

I really think C. Ronaldo this year.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by akinalabi(m): 10:57am On Jul 19, 2008
@ debosky,

There is no hypocrisy anywhere. This is what transfer wranglings have
become in today's football.

Real tries to tempt Ronaldo away using different methods. United fought
back to keep their prized asset. We are also trying to bring Berba to OT
and Spurs are fighting. Liverpool also wants Keane and Spurs are fighting.

It's all about how well you can fight to bring and keep players.

Something Wenger has lost the will and power to do. tongue
SportsRe: Who Will U Vote As Ur World Best Dis Yr: C. Ronaldo Or Who? by akinalabi(m): 2:32pm On Jul 18, 2008
I still don't get you. Me I like straight forward statements. Please
clear the air on this.

You believe he should not win the world football player award
because he did not show up at the Euros. That he can not lay claims
until he shows us at such stages.

That means the award should go to those that showed up. Players
like Ashravin, Sienna, Xavi?
SportsRe: Who Will U Vote As Ur World Best Dis Yr: C. Ronaldo Or Who? by akinalabi(m): 5:50pm On Jul 17, 2008
@ dayokanu,

I'll like to understand your position better.

According to that statement by Platini, he is not the best
until he performs at the bigger stage ala the Euros.

You mentioned the other players that made the top 23
like Bosingwa, Pepe, Modric, Buffon, and Sneijder.

Let dem kuku give one of those the award.

You don't need to get worked up over this. The award can
go to Ashravin since he showed up at the Euros which is
the only factor to consider in your reckoning.
SportsRe: Who Will U Vote As Ur World Best Dis Yr: C. Ronaldo Or Who? by akinalabi(m): 11:14pm On Jul 16, 2008
You need to give up on this, dayokanu.

The award has not been given to Ronaldo so it's not like there
has been some wrong doing. Why are you so worked up?

Okay, Ronaldo did not light up the Euros. Platini said he has to
show up there. Let them give the award to Sienna, Xavi or Ashravin
than showed up if its only about the Euros.

How is that a problem?

I'm not suggesting its right to call them names. I'm only
surprised to see you jump to Blatter's defense when
you've never jumped to anyone elses defence.

Calling Blatter daft is not worse that calling Fergie a gay

SportsRe: Sepp Blatter Is Daft! by akinalabi(m): 10:09pm On Jul 12, 2008
somze:
Blatter deserves more respect than this. The topic of this thread made me shiver with unbelief. The guy is older, wiser and wealthier than all of you put together.

He has been the Fifa President for about a decade, won two elections, hosted 2 successful World Cups, and has been on the Fifa Board for about 30 years. Calling him daft for airing his views is downright insultive and absolutely disgraceful.

Get a life!

Ronaldo can go or remain . . . much ado about a bloody hype.
On this forum, I've seen people call Fergie, Wenger, Grant etc
worse names. . .

Using your exact words, these guys are older, wiser and wealthier
than all of you put together.

So what's the biggie now that it's about Blatter?
